Main parking lot (for the annex) was very crowded & the spaces are quite small. The overflow lot is 1 story below the building & meant that you had to take stairs up to the room. It also meant that you had to back out of the parking lot as it's not a drive through. Staff was helpful & (mostly) friendly. The location is fabulous!

The staff is always friendly. We love the cookies and fruit in the lobby. There was oatmeal and a coffee selection in the room along with 2 bottles of water. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The negative is thd parking especially when there is a home soccer in the area.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. Park Lane Suites and Inn is located in a wonderful walkable neighborhood (steep walking so I caution those with mobility challenges). Washington Park is a beautiful city park up the hill from the Inn and has lots to see and enjoy (nature and exhibit's like the international rose garden). Within Washington Park is the Japanese garden (entrance fee) and nearby is the zoo (didn't visit). Check in was a breeze and warmly welcomed by Mar at the front desk. Mar was so helpful, she took the time to explain directions and offer guidance on the local parks. The lobby is 24/7 with water, coffee, tea and apples. Morning has cookies that I will assume go quickly. The property has the main building and an annexed building across the street. All are exterior entrances. We opted for a 1st floor unit as there is no elevator. Well equipped and clean rooms. Will definitely return for a visit. Thank you Mar!

The staff was very courteous and check in was painless. We chose this hotel based on location and price point. That being said, it is an older hotel in a pleasant, walkable neighborhood. Food, coffee and a couple bars are all close by. The room itself was located in a building across the street from the lobby and had a great view of downtown from the walkway outside. The room appeared very clean at first glance but we did end up finding hairs in both beds. We had already called to complain that the tv wasn’t working and it was late so we all just decided to sleep on top of the sheets. Overall, a comfortable and safe room that needed more attention to detail.

Staff was very friendly. Only downside was the room wasnt very clean. Found a dead roach the first day and the neighbors were loud and fought all night one day. Aside from that it was a pleasant experience. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and safe.

It was fine for the money. Beds were rock hard, but the linens were nice. Place wasn't what I would consider clean, but it wasn't filty, my impression was it had been speed cleaned for years & grime builds up in places like corners of the rooms and behind doors, etc. Parking is a nightmare if you drive anything larger than a fiat, spots are small & lots are tiny.

Great location. However, room was in another building and it was raining. No elevators. Very few counters or space in room and there was only 2 of us. There were a couple of gross spots on the bedsheets and cover. The windows do not have full blackout coverage and the exterior lights shine in the sides. A little noisier than normal. Out of 4 hotels stayed in Portland area this was our least favorite.

Close to great restaurants. Staff is awesome. Parking lot is tiny and so are the parking spaces, so park on the street if you have a big vehicle. Our room looked clean at first glance but when I cleaned up a water spill from the floor, the rag was black with dirt and so were the bottoms of our feet from walking on the floor. It made us question how clean everything else was. Beds were comfy. Just an ok experience.

What I most liked about this hotel was that the rooms were more like apartments. Separate bedroom, nice kitchen with a two burner stovetop and a full sized fridge. It was very comfortable. The few times I interacted with staff was always very pleasant. I will definitely be staying here again.

Good budget-friendly motel with friendly employees who allowed me to check in early after a long travel day. The room was comfy and clean. The walls are paper thin so if you are a light sleeper and the motel is full, you’re going to hear a lot of people and street noise. The back parking lot is a bit difficult to get in and out of. Overall, you definitely get what you pay for and if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in the Portland area, this is not a bad choice.

We were put in the space across the street and the rooms were tiny tiny. It was more cheap motel sized than what we were expecting from the photos. But the location was good and it was clean so it worked overall. Oh, the gym had only three machines and the rowing machine was broken.

This place does not look like the pictures. Walls/ floor super thin. We could hear people all night. The curtains are see through and people kept stopping and looking onto our room. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were nice. We were not even put in the main hotel, the have something across the street called the inn. Only plus was the free parking. However, I would stay somewhere else. Zero privacy here

The first thing i noticed when i opened the door to our room was how clean it smelled. I liked how they left us slippers to wear because the floor was wood-laminate (much preferred to carpet). And even though it was an older hotel everything worked properly, i.e. plumbing, electric, tv. The location of the hotel was great. Only a 15-20 minute walk from downtown, depending on where you want to go. Close enough to get to the restaurants, shopping, bars, etc., but far enough to not be in the middle of the chaos that came out at night. There is an awesome pizza place around the corner, (Pizza Kat), so good we ate there twice. Parking was not an issue, but because everything was so close, we just parked for two days straight. We will definitely stay here again, the staff was very kind, the rooms were clean and the location was great!

We had a great stay! The staff was very friendly, and the location was perfect for us— close to Washington Park and walkable to great restaurants and shops along NW 23rd. I'll definitely recommend Park Lane to friends and family visiting Portland, especially since they offer comfortable one-bedroom apartment units with full kitchens. This was a conveniently-located motel at a good price. If you like to walk you can do so to almost anywhere. Staff was also super nice and their little lobby/sitting area was comfortable and had decent reading material. The room itself wasn't as impressive though; smallish, and the side tables were too small to rest my stuff. Same with bathroom, barely room to place you bathroom gear. Shower's water pressure was simply too low, hardly felt like a shower. Maybe it was a low flow shower head (but who needs that in Portland? They have plenty of water). Bed was so-so. Parking was available, but filled up and had to park on the street one night. That wasn't hard to do though. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives. You can also easily walk to Washington Park.

convenient location of the hotel on a quiet street. The hotel is not luxurious, but it will satisfy all the needs for my traveling. Staff is very friendly. In the small lobby, there are always fresh fruits, ice water, coffee, and tea. we found in walking distance a good place for breakfast , Ken's Artisan bakery, and Trader Joe's store. Very convenient location 👌

This is located just blocks from the sw23rd shopping area and is about a 15 min walk to downtown. There are two different buildings at this property. The larger one which is a high rise is the park lane suites and a smaller motel type building across the street which is the inn at park lane suites. There is more parking at the inn than at the suites. Parking for the main building is very limited. Everything was clean and the area of is pretty good for being in a downtown are. It is o my a 5 min drive from Washington park. The beds are pretty hard and not very comfortable and there are really no amenities or breakfast. There is a Dutch brothers about a block away. Over clean and safe. Very convenient location, but don’t expect any extras.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Park Lane Suites and Inn. Our room was comfortable and easily walkable to a variety of dining options and even downtown Portland. The staff member who checked us in was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was at a comfortable temperature. While the motel itself was in a nice, seemingly safe location, it is close to an area that can be a little noisy at night and perhaps not quite as safe, but was not overly noisy on the night we stayed. The walls between rooms do seem rather "thin" as we easily heard people in the adjacent room talking but fortunately they were quiet during the hours of darkness, so it did not affect our stay. Overall, this was a great motel and we had a pleasant stay.

The staff at Park Lane Suites and Inn, is excellent ! very friendly and always ready to assist. The Suite rooms are very well equipped and convenient. The area is close to many restaurants/stores, and public transport is easily available . Also walking distance, to downtown Portland.
