Elevators were a disaster as they were frequently down during our stay and we were on the 14th floor. We were also skipped on housekeeping and just had a generally poor experience overall. The location is good and the rooms are ok for a family of 5. We will look elsewhere next time.

Street parking was easy. Valet also an option. Very clean hotel. Pool is over chlorinated. Delicious breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Water always available. Walkable, and safe to get to 16th st mall to shop or eat. Mountain View was beautiful on a high floor. Have stayed here before, and would stay again.

Was unaware about their parking situation. The amenities listed parking available. What it didn't say was you had to pay $64 a night for valet. Or park in a private lot near the hotel for around $30 a night. I was assuming that customers registered there would have complimentary parking.

Beware of the parking situation. The Daily Charge was almost 60.00 and I was told that they didn’t have room for my GMC Yukon. The snitty attendant told me to find my own parking place which I did for 15.00 per night just around the corner. The front desk helped me with that. I was also told that if I left my car for more than 15 minutes during check-in, it would be towed. 5 for the Hotel. 0 stars for the Parking.

Room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable for 5 adults. Walking distance to anywhere in downtown. Front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. Very good breakfast selection. The laundry should be automated with credit cards/smartphone app and not the old fashioned way of using quarters. The dryer wouldn’t start after inserting the coins. Had to wait half hour for a technician to come. Would be Nice to have refillable stations for water bottles.

First time staying here, and I just have to say the room was very spacious with nice bathroom size and great view with a security and very safe feel to it. The only cons were that it was the housekeeping was not the best it was dusty and over the closet there was trash and months of dust not like I needed to have any business up there but just seeing all that dust pilled up was not pleasant..also found a lash extension on the bed and housekeeping never went in the 3 days I was there they only asked one day if I needed towels I said yes please I’ll take two and they said okay we will bring them back we don’t have any at the moment and they never came.. also asked for toilet paper and only had one which was fine but it’s things they should have bunch on hand.. also no parking available only valet for like $25 a day.. I do feel the price was high for not being 10/10 but can’t complain been to worst at least they included breakfast buffet that I did enjoy. Overall I would rate this place an 8/10

The hotel and our room were very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pillows were perfect and the bed was so comfortable. I appreciate the extra bathroom counter space, good lighting in the bathroom and one of my favorite things is the towel rack in the shower. Breakfast is great as well.

The staff were very nice and the room was as well. My two complaints are that the electricity is so strange- I kept getting shocked when I went to turn on a light. And I had a huge electric shock on my finger when I first pushed the button for the elevator. And secondly, the room smelled like sewage, specifically in the bathroom. It was a bit gross but I got over it. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Breakfast was a mess. Putting plates at the center was a terrible idea. The rooms didn't feel very clean. The carpet felt quite dirty and it worn. The pullout bed was a joke. I've slept on 30 year old lazy boys that slept better. Bathroom vent didn't have a switch..

The room was nice and clean, and we loved the view of Mile High, Elitch Gardens, and Ball, but the bed and pullout were uncomfortable and took up a lot of room. Additionally, while we are at fault for forgetting an expensive baseball jersey in the closet, we are highly disappointed that when we called about it, the jersey could not be found. It’s disturbing because the housekeeper(s) either decided to steal the jersey or they didn’t check the closet and the next tenant decided to steal the jersey. If the jersey is found and returned to us, we will update this review…but it’s highly discouraging and disappointing as of now. Valet Parking is very expensive, and the area around the hotel has really gone downhill, so valet felt like the best option despite the price.

Only did an overnight stay between flights. Comfortable and good sized room on 18th floor. 1816. Sitting space of an l-shape sofa that was also a sofa bed. Views to the mountains. King sized bed comfortable. Efficient and quiet airconditioning. Large shower in bathroom with good sized bathroom vanity for placing toiletries on. Easy walk to new downtown street mall on 16th street. Complimentary breakfast from 6:30am was an added bonus. Would recommend place for staying.

Front desk staff were so nice and friendly. Breakfast staff were very nice too, even offering to take up my breakfast plate. You don’t see that anywhere else when it is a complimentary breakfast. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Denver.

I stayed one night, found the Valet was helpful, and the young ladies, who checked me in, were friendly upon greeting me. To my delight, I was given a room with a view of the mountains! My room was clean, and the bathroom was well stocked with towels. I slept well without hearing anyone upstairs, but could hear some of the doors shut from other rooms in the morning. Breakfast was nice and quiet, with hard-boiled or scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, dry cereals, various juices, etc. the wait staff were friendly, and immediately, added food, dishwater, or removed dirty dishes from tables. Overall, I enjoyed my short stay, which greatly had to do with the friendly staff.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Denver Downtown and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a prime location, just a short walk from major attractions like the Colorado Convention Center, 16th Street Mall, and the Denver Art Museum. I’m a wrestling coach so I travel a lot, I spend over 30 days in hotels every year. This past weekend I feel scammed in the worst way possible. Whenever I booked my hotel stay, it said it came with valet parking and even when I checked in, the valet offered to park my car. In the front desk when I arrived and checked in, they didn’t mention that the valet parking was extra cost. Whenever I checked out and found out about the valet fee, the front desk workers were rude and got upset with me about me being upset about the valet being an extra fee that I wasn’t aware or told about. I was very upset because you guys shared my credit card information without my consent or knowledge. Even the help desk worker laughed in my face and said I didn’t need to pay anything because they had took it out of my card, again, with my consent or knowledge. I feel terrible, extremely scammed, & I will let my wrestling coaches and my family know not to stay in Hyatt in downtown Denver.

We didn't know exactly what to expect at this location, but it turned out to be an excellent location. The hotel is near the convention center and the properties around there are clean and well-kept . We chose the location because we wanted a safe place to park our car and wanted to be able to walk to the baseball game. (It's about 1 1/4 miles away; easy enough for us.) Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel ambiance was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice property. Room was nice and clean. The employees were great (breakfast crew, front desk, room service). We parked at a public parking behind the property for $30/day per entry. The hotel offered Valet parking at $64/day; however, it includes in/out parking. Walked to a shopping district called The Pavilion. No open food establishments were open during late nights in close walking proximity. The pool was nice and kid friendly (3ft-4ft) deep. There is a free metro-bus stop one street down that can take you close to Coors Field up&down downtown along 17th & 18th street.

Stayed three nights and for what we paid I was not super impressed. The front desk staff really struggled to check me in with my rewards account since I made my reservation through Expedia. All three of our room keys stopped working multiple times during our stay. The air conditioning in our room did not work well and therefore, we were hot in the middle of the night every night. The elevators did not work consistently. And one of the reasons we picked the hotel was the free breakfast. It was so busy and understaffed that they rarely had enough dishes or food for the crowds. Want juice? Good luck finding cups. Want coffee? They whisk it away at 10 AM on the dot so you can’t even get a refill if you made it down to breakfast a little later and had to wait on silverware, plates, bowls, and food. Oh, and they charge $65 a night for hotel valet parking. So if you want to park in a surface lot to save money, they give you a Oh, and they charge $65 a night for hotel valet parking. I ended up paying twice as much for my surface lot as advertised on both the sheet and the sign in the lot.Wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel has 21 floors with 4 elevators. Both Saturday and Sunday of our stay two of the four elevators were being serviced. There was no notifications prior to or during the stay. Had to wait over 5 min to catch the elevator and we were on the 11th floor. One of the days we took the stairs due to the wait. The breakfast area does not accommodate the weekend well as the line to eat on Saturday was through the lobby so we decided to go find something near the hotel The rooms are cleaned daily but we noticed the coffee is not re stocked so we had to go down in morning to get coffee and deal with the elevator situation again. Very disappointed with the experience as we normally choose Hyatt hotels.
