It’s a very nice hotel. The only downside is the parking. It’s located in a ramp behind the hotel. You have to use the skyway to get to the hotel. Its takes about 5 minutes, and It’s a hassle with luggage to walk that far.

I thought the hotel was excellent, but when we checked in I found out the pool was closed due to a remodeling project. This was posted on their website but since I booked with Expedia I wasn’t aware of this and the hotel managers’ hands were tied since I booked the stay through a third party. I will never go through Expedia again!!!!

We reserved a lake view room or partial lake view, when we arrived there were none available, yet the price we paid per night was for lakeview. No coffee in the lobby, just not welcoming place to stay. Parking in the ramp was a very long walk to the lobby and room.

Room was lovely, beds comfortable, clean, nice lobby and restaurant. Staff was wonderful. Pool and hottub were average. Only reason for 3 stars is because we were awoken at 7am to a jackhammer banging constantly from across the street. Shook our beds and woke everyone up.

Worth getting the Club level rooms on the 6th floor for a lovely view of the lake. Parking is weird, but oddly accessible/convenient once you lnow what's going on. Fitgers/Pickwicks and other dining a short walk away. Be aware: no direct beach access.

The independent parking structure connected to the hotel is terrible! We any several other guests couldn’t get out of the ramp. The parking ticket could not be read. Calls for help to the company responsible were unanswered and the voicemail box was full. The hotel could not help. Very frustrating! Toilet backed up. Plunger delivered to the door, but no one to help. Air conditioning control didn’t work on first night. Fixed the next day. Nice hotel in a good location, but a less than pleasant experience.

I will never promote Expedia or Sheridan Duluth MN. The cost per night with no house keeping. Bedding never changed, no clean towels, garbage never taken out, dirty room, dirty glasses, ran out of all essentials, unsafe connection from hotel to hospital, rude staff, and expensive. The only reason I chose this hotel is because it was connected to the hospital. I made a horrible choice. The skywalk is closed on weekends and holidays so I could have stayed at a different hotel for less the cost and probably had better service. Extended time waiting for staff to get off the phone to check in. Not given any information on where to park or how to get into the hotel from the parking ramp. Went into wrong entrance immediately a man standing urinating on the wall. The elevator didn’t work, all doors locked no direction as to how to get to the hotel. Ended up dragging our suitcases down the stairs to an outside exit & walked around the block. Room only cleaned once we ran out of essentials, dirty room, dirty glasses, garbage not taken out, bedding not changed stayed 5-23-23 to 5-31-23. Entire time with full garbage, no towels, ran out of toilet paper & Kleenex. Only chose property because it’s connected to the hospital but no where did anything or anyone inform us the sky walk is closed weekends and holidays. Definitely wasn’t worth the stress and expense. Will never promote Expedia or hotel.

The hotel was good for my stay here for 3 nights. Clean and fairly good bed. As I booked it back in March, I was hoping for a better room view. It was facing a construction site and in the inside corner of a complex, so kind of disappointing. Strange sounds all night: like drums? Maybe it was pipes or an elevator. Area around Duluth center has become unsafe when it's dark. Was approached twice by strange individuals most likely on drugs.

Having booked in advance and showing up on a lower traffic part of the week we had requested to be placed on the highest floor possible for the view of Lake Superior. We were placed on the lowest floor and did not have any response to this request. It is a lot of work to transport baggage from the parking ramp to hotel. I am an able bodied person so it was fine but for people that have physical limitations it is a process. Also the water heater should be looked at. The hot water was scalding and even when trying cooler settings it was very hot. Location is very optimal for exploring downtown on foot which was our goal. Very comfortable bed and nice bar for a late night drink. Overall was a great experience!

The A/C when just turning on has a loud thud which sounds like a door banging. Walls are thin, and there were kids running around on the floor at all hours of the night. Front desk staff and the gentlemen serving breakfast were fantastic.

My room was nice but you could hear everything due to the large space between the door & floor. Plus there were kids running up & down the halls & constant door slamming until midnight then started up again at 6:30 am

Everything was great. I showed up at 4:30 and my room was not ready which seems unprofessional to me. Also the housekeeping staff knocked on my door 3 times in the morning. Since I was leaving that day it seems odd to do that especially after the first time when I stated that I would be out by check out.

Mostly very nice, beds clean, a bit on the too firm side. We had been at the hospital since Dec 22 and decided to get a room because it connected to the hospital. I booked with Expedia then discovered that booking with hotel/hospital we would have been charged less, $200 less, this was a huge difference and not very helpful front desk. This upset me, we already did not want to spend Christmas at the hospital. Even if the hotel could not have changed the price I would have been willing to contact Expedia, I’ve always had luck in the past if I needed to change an error with booking. The front desk told me she would not help even if Expedia was willing to cancel my booking that took place about 1 hour before I walked over to the hotel.

It was very good. The bed and pillows and linens were very nice. It was perfect for our overnight stay. We had a beautiful view over Lake Superior, even if the weather didn’t cooperate to let us see it very well. I would definitely stay here again! It was located near shopping, entertainment, dining and medical facilities!

Hot water was not plentiful. Got maybe 1 minute of sort of hot water before it turned lukewarm at best. Parking garage is also a bit of a toilet. Breakfast was great though and I slept well.

Lovely room, cozy bed with good sheets. The 2nd floor does not sound fancy, but there was an interesting view of Superior street, that was nice. Awesome cocktails at the bar. Dogs allowed for $75, (kinda steep for 1 nite). Grassy spots for doggie were over a block away. The parking was confusing with poor signage, but good it exists since the area is very busy. Other bars and food in close walking distance. Huge hospital 1 block away. Bartender was awesome.
