I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. First of all, I was not expecting to pay an extra 32$ for parking considering the price of the hotel+ the parking was on gravel. Super hard to roll the luggage. Other than that, our room had a smell of a wet dog which was pugent when we entered the room. But room was clean. The AC in our room was noisy and personally I would've prefer have body soap dispensers instead of little bottles which would've made the site more ecofriendly.... One of the 2 elevators were broken down, creating massive trafic and wait...

Excellent value and walkable to historic places. Easy parking at library. Room was very warm and thermostat was locked. Needed to have the front desk add a fan to the room. They were very nice. The gym had no air circulating and was stifling. Needs fans.

It was a great stay! Good location but little bit far from the old Quebec in the winter weather. The lobby is beautiful, cozy and clean,2 nice restaurants as well. We loved the pool too!! We booked a suite and everything was good! The housekeeper forgot to clean the nightstand it was sticky and you could see the glass marks. Not a big deal I wiped it. The only thing that I didn’t like was the price of the parking. (Not worth 36$/night for an outdoor parking lot with no security!)

Rooms are nice and clean, lots of space. Beds are comfy. Parking cost extra and is outside, self park, there are 2 small gravel parking lots around the corner from the hotel. Not the greatest, but not the worst. The pool is nice, but small; it was very crowded as it was raining outside everyone wanted in the pool at the same time. Otherwise our stay has been very nice.

I loved the location since it is just a 30-minute walk to where the action is. The hotel looks pretty nice from the outside but the inside was not that great. My room had a bad smell that the hotel tried to hide by cranking up the A/C. There is only 2 elevators in the property and one was broken upon arrival. I left 4 days later and the elevator has not being repaired. I wasted lot of time just waiting for the one operational elevator.

The shower in our room was the worst hotel shower experience I have ever had, the shower head was very dirty causing it to spray water all over the floor, along with this there was no body wash/shampoo and the tub did not drain. When I told staff this issue they did nothing to address the issue and just said they would look into fixing it for the next guest.

J'ai été très déçu de mon séjour à l'hôtel Best Western et j'ai même dû quitter l'hôtel avant la fin de mon voyage et me trouver un autre hôtel. Odeur de chien étouffante dans les ascenseurs dans les corridors. J'ai choisi cet hôtel de luxe et payer 750$ la nuit pour ne pas avoir ce genre de problème que l'on retrouve dans des établissements à prix modiques. Après avoir fait part du problème à trois reprises avec trois employés différent du comptoir de réception et des promesses de correction immédiate du problème de chacun de ces employés 12 heures plus tard rien n'avait changé et aucun entretien d'ascenseur ou de corridor n'avait été faits malgré le fait que les employés de l'entretien ménager était présent. J'ai dû écourter mon séjour dans cet hôtel et je ne recommande à personne de ses journées à cet hôtel Best Western de Québec centre-ville. Ce n'est pas un hôtel pour être humain c'est un hôtel pour chien avec plusieurs chiens dans l'établissement.

Nothing to complain about aside from the fact that the carpet in the room was extra dirty i walked bare feet in the room for a few minutes and my feet turned black. The housekeepers seemed to have vacuumed the carpet but they probsbly didnt do a good enough job

Unfortunately our stay was not pleasant as we discovered bed bugs shortly after going to bed! The hotel was not able to move us to another room in the hotel nor did they feel they would be able to secure a room at another hotel near the train station. We checked out of our room at 2:00 am and spent the rest of the night in the hotel lobby none of us getting any sleep. I requested a refund when we checked out but as I made the reservation through Expedia I was informed that the hotel could not issue a refund - it would need to come from Expedia. NOT pleased!! The fact we found bed bugs did not seem to shock the staff member even though he apologized for the incident. I would not recommend this hotel!

Je n’ai pas aimé la senteur dans la chambre, il y avait une odeur très forte d’urine de chat ou chien sur le tapis. Difficulté à dormir avec cette senteur. Apres la première nuit je suis allé voir la réception et le gars m’a dit qu’il n’avait pas d’autres chambres de disponible sauf une Ét elle était très petite et avait la même senteur mais légèrement moins forte.

Nice room layout. Instead of side by side, the two beds were on opposit walls in an L shaped room, which feels more private in a way. Beds are comfortable. The headboard is covered in pleather that is badly peeling, though, the hotel should consider replacing or reupholstering those soon.

Housekeeping knocked on the door at 930 in the morning. Put in a room that had a joining door. So loud, had to ask to be moved to another room. Front desk mistake- did not add parking when parking form was filled out. No communication about it.

We checked in at your hotel at 4:30 PM, and upon arrival, we found our room extremely hot, while the outside temperature was around 35°C. Despite our attempts to adjust the thermostat, the room remained uncomfortably warm. We contacted the front desk at 5:30 PM, and were told maintenance would be notified. After heading to the pool for some time and returning, we found the room still hot. We followed up again with the front desk and were told maintenance had been called, but no one had reached out to us with any update. Later that evening, we returned to the room around 11 PM, only to find the AC still not working properly and the temperature still at 25.2°C. At that point, we were offered a fan or to change rooms. Given the exhausting day we had — after a long drive and with a child and an elderly family member — we had no choice but to gather all our belongings and move to another room late at night. What added to our frustration was that the room was clearly not inspected for comfort before check-in, and there was a lack of proactive communication or follow-up from staff regarding the issue. However, we do want to acknowledge the kindness of one staff member who helped us move our luggage during the room transfer. We hope you take this feedback seriously, as guest comfort and communication are essential, especially when traveling with vulnerable family members.

I have stayed here in 2018 and it was great that time but this second time 2025, the property might have been renovated but in 6-7 story building , only 1 water dispenser where water comes drop by drop ?? Then literally no slippers in room , no bathrobes , no water in room ? Service at its worst, have to call 4 times reception to get a glass and then finally go ousrslves to reception to get when no service comes to room. They charge us so much but literally no service ! Horrible experience . We left room in morning and came late night and room wasn’t cleaned, when we called the reception they said no cleaner available !!!! We took family suite with sofa bed, but the spring bed is so bad that your body hurts, when asked to change the room , they said not available !! Never coming back to this hotel ever again !! The service is very very poor !!

No breakfast, I looked up what the plus ment in the hotels name. It stated breakfast was included. I asked at the front desk about this and all of a sudden her English got bad and seemed like she didn’t know what I was saying. This is a hotel that I bet a lot of people are from the us visiting. Shouldn’t the front desk know to speak English.

Due to problems with a rental property we needed a hotel asap. Manager Jeremy and Marwa as well as the other staff were super helpful. So glad we found this lovely hotel and that they had room for us.

Hotel was clean, renovated & the 330 Cafe for breakfast was great! Hotel & restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, big thank you to Elizabeth for providing us such great info! Now the hotel is located in downtown Quebec City & with all downtowns these days, there is homelessness. Although walking during the day was fine, there were parts that you need to be attentive and stay to main streets, night time we used Uber. We walked during the day to Old Quebec City & we were able to do it in 28 minutes not far, but lots of hills! Parking at the hotel was not free, $32/day but that is not surprising for city that is a vacation destination, parking lot was gravel. I would stay at this hotel again, but if you're looking to be in the heart of Old Quebec City it is a 28 minute uphill walk.

The hotel property was very nice. The room, lobby and pool were clean and well-maintained. The pool was done very nicely. The issue is the area around the hotel. Many homeless people were lying in doorways, there was a strong smell of urine and I didn't feel safe walking there with my children. I didn't go into the old town in the evening due to the fairly long walk and the fact that I didn't feel safe walking back through that area in the dark. It's a shame because the hotel itself is very nice.

Hotel was outdated and needed an upgrade. The bed/headboard had visible wear and tear, as well as the bathroom. Sofabed was so uncomfortable. I can feel the springs on my ribs and back while sleeping. Hotel location was close to dinings/bar, but felt unsafe walking around due to several homeless people in the area.

Our room was clean and convenient. The 330 breakfast place was quick and very good. We dined twice at the Nouvo Cuisine restaurant and our meals were excellent. The hotel is a short walk to Stop 6 on the hop on hop off tour bus line. Wi-fi was fast.

Good breakfast. Limited but good evening dining at the hotel. Very pleasant efficient staff in the restaurants and lobby. Hotel is convenient to walk most lower areas of the city. Less so to Plains of Abraham and Fairmont Hotel areas. Heavy traffic makes the Hop On Hop Off bus a poor option for getting around. Cabs are a better bet.

The website and the person at check-in said they had room service. When I called, they said, "We\'re really busy right now. There\'s lots of restaurants near by. Why don\'t you go there?" The headboards in the room were covered in cheap pleather that peeled and fell off into the sheets whenever you moved. The service person who came up to check our air conditioning was rude to the point of being frightening. The area around the hotel is filled with graffiti and a very large unhoused community. They charged an exorbitant fee for very poor quality. It is walkable to get to Old Quebec, if you are in good shape. There are a few cute coffee shops nearby.
