Parking there was an ordeal. I arrived late after a work function and because of the snow, I ended up having to shovel my way into a spot. There wasn't enough room to turn my car around so I had no choice but to wedge my car in. The room was nice. I appreciated having actual cream and milk in the fridge for my coffee instead of the powder. This is fairly rare in my experience, so thank you hotel. Bed was comfy enough. Curtains okay but let daylight through the sides.

I very much enjoyed my stay at La Saint Paixe in Montcalm. Check-in and check-out were seamless and done through codes you're provided by email, and the room was both comfortable and super quiet. While I didn't use it, there's a nice outdoor terrace on the ground floor with tables and chairs. The free parking both in front and behind the building were also a big plus! While the area immediately surrounding the building is pretty quiet (good for sleep!), the building is a stone's throw from Cartier, right up the stairs from Saint Roch, and a 10 minute walk or so from the core part of Saint-Jean Baptiste. And, in the nicer weather, you have an Avelo bikeshare station approx. a 5 minute walk from the hotel to get around elsewhere!

Unique style of property and felt secure because you needed a code at the front door and to get into your room. Room was comfortable and had the usual amenities. Quiet enough apart from a few times but nothing unbearable and rooms were well insulated from noise. Water was hot and room was clean. Would recommend bringing your hair dryer as the one provided is not ionic or powerful. Nice not having housekeeping daily as it felt more secure. Quite a walk to old Quebec City but doable in about 30-40 minutes. Uphill coming back but there is a bus route if you want to do that. Good safe feeling area to be in with a grocery store about a block away. Would definitely recommend!

The property was exactly like advertised. Self check in and self check out. Access to shared kitchen and terrasse. The room was very clean and the bathroom as well. Exactly what we were looking for. It is a bit of walk to Vieux-Quebec but we knew this as well. We always had access to a parking space at the building, but we did travel from Tuesday to Thursday so perhaps it is busier at different times and you might not be as lucky. There are several places to eat nearby. Bring a helmet if you want to use a rental bicycle.

This property has a great location with groceries across the street, dining next block over on Cartier, and an easy 1 mile walk to downtown. Check in was easy and the room very comfortable. Coffee pods were provided for each morning of my stay, thanks! What I didn’t realize was there is a full common use kitchen available if needed. Parking can be tight, but I managed to find a spot each day. Would recommend to others.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour à La Sainte Paix! La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Le stationnement gratuit était facile. Le service était très courtois. On a pu ranger nos sacs au moment de notre arrivée avant le check-in, et après le check-out puisque nous partions plus tard dans la journée. La réponse était rapide lorsque nous avions des questions. Le seul hic est que l'isolation laisse un peu à désirer côté son : nous pouvions bien entendre les gens dans la chambre à côté. Des bouchons sont fournis, mais c'est quelque chose à consider pour les gens au sommeil très léger! Je recommanderais cet hôtel et j'y reviendrais lors d'un prochain séjour à Québec!

Il y avait un emballage de condom dans la poubelle de la chambre qui n’avait pas été vidée… ceci me fait questionner sur le processus de nettoyage des chambres de cet hôtel. Les oreillers étaient vraiment inconfortables, mais sur une note plus positive, le stationnement était très pratique et le check-in/check-out était très simple.

Excellent location, close to many restaurants and Cafes. Easy check in and checkout process. Our room was not very clean, the bed had bloodstain sheets and the bathroom had quite a bit of hair from previous guests.

A great option within walking distance of the best of Quebec City. We parked at the hotel and didn't use our car once during our stay. Listing details are accurate but each room is different and some kitchenettes don't have sinks or sitting areas. I would stay here again.

In all we liked the hotel. The issue we had was being placed in a room near the street. The Main Street in front of the hotel is extremely busy at night. Noisy cars with loud music and people yelling out front all night. Luckily we were able to switch rooms so I’m thankful for this.

It was a great stay at Le Sainte Paix! I traveled on my own and I felt safe. The room was just like the photos; it was clean, spacious and the internet connection was excellent. I didn't see any staff, which I already knew it was going to be that way, but since I had all I needed in my room, I didn't needed to contact the hotel (the contact number was available). Would definitely stay there again and I recommend it!

So first up, this isn't a hotel. It's a room in a facility which gives the impression it may have been at one time student accommodation or something similar. Now admin to an airbnb room rental, hotel is stretching the description somewhat. The room is clean, functional, bed is comfy, it had a kitchenette with a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher(but no sink!) and it's reasonably well equipped. There is a separate shower room also as well as a decent amount of storage. The room is compact but liveable. The "hotel" is in fact 2 corridors of about 10 rooms in a "facility" which is akin to some sort of ex-municipal building.. There are no staff, you get whatsapped a code to enter the facility as well as the room. We didn't see a member of staff at any point in the 3 days we stayed. Towels are provided (but not changed unless you email a request to do so). Location is good. 20 minutes walk into old Quebec, supermarket and pharmacy opposite, free parking with about 20 spaces so enough for 1 car per room. Overall it's ok for a room, but it's not a hotel and I would say it's expensive for what you get. But it's comfy, convenient and fine for short stays.

We stayed here while visiting the Christmas Markets. Although outside the market area, only a 1/2hr easy walk. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and great cafes and dinner options close by. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay within walking distance of restaurants and town centre. Staff was absolutely amazing and super friendly always wanting to help you with any questions you may have. Would absolutely stay here again !

Très bel hôtel dans un quartier tranquille et à quelques minutes en voiture des meilleurs restos de la ville. Il faut être à l’aise avec le fait que ce soit un hôtel « self check-in », mais le service 24/7 est très efficace en cas de questions. Seul bémol, dans la chambre 217 la clim faisait un gros bruit de manière intermittente et a empêché mon collègue de dormir.

Great location in the Montcalm section of the city. Close to Rue Cartier which has many dining and shopping choices. Short walk to Plains of Abraham and twenty minute walk to Old Quebec. Clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Fairly quiet and very safe. I will definitely return in the future.

Property in general and rooms are beautiful. Clean and spacious. Property is in the middle of everything so price for uber/taxi is the same all around. Hotel is walking distance to plains of Abraham. Great scenery for looking down the hill. Great overall experience.

This property is very walkable to and from Old Quebec, Cartier Ave, and Grandee Allee. Also easy to catch public transit, both the 807 basically in front or walk up a block and catch the 800. There is also an IGA a block away. The room was cozy, had a Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, mini fridge, plates, etc. I liked that there was a sitting area and table to eat at in the room. The bathroom is spacious, the water pressure and temperature was great. I would stay here again in the future.

This property has a great location with groceries across the street, dining next block over on Cartier, and an easy 1 mile walk to downtown. Check in was easy and the room very comfortable. Coffee pods were provided for each morning of my stay, thanks! What I didn’t realize was there is a full common use kitchen available if needed. Parking can be tight, but I managed to find a spot each day. Would recommend to others.

We stayed here while visiting the Christmas Markets. Although outside the market area, only a 1/2hr easy walk. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and great cafes and dinner options close by. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed for one night, room was decently clean and very spacious, hotel was renovated, easy to check in, upon arrival we had a hard time figuring out how to open our door but someone happened to be available to assist, parking is very limited so please keep that in mind, area felt safe and there were a ton of late night food options and bars to have a drink, Café Castelo is down the street for a very delicious morning coffee! We enjoyed our stay!

Bed was a little on soft side but not unbearable. No food options on site but lots of restaurants and food markets in area. Everything is walking distance, no need to drive. Would definitely stay again if in Quebec City.
