The only complaint I had was the pool being closed. Even to sit outside was closed off. I had to walk over to MGM just to sit outside and read.

Yes, the room was spotless and spacious. The staff was helpful - even though we checked in with a machine to avoid a $20 fee associated with early check in - the staff still helped us out. The pool was very nice - albeit a bit chilly. Too bad it closed October 26 but then we went to the MGM Grand hotel pool which was good but a 10 min. walk. Casino is very nice and the hotel is easy to navigage.

Everything was great except the elevators weren't all working so sometimes a long line to get on an elevator.

Great place to stay on the strip, I would definitely come again. Check-in was extremely fast and easy with the self service kiosks. The whole hotel felt very clean and great options of food all throughout the hotel including a 24 hour diner. Although the pool was small, it was still a pleasant pool to spend some time at. Overall I would stay again.

ONE person handling the check-in counter at a hotel this size is absolutely ridiculous. Add to that, that each end every check-in takes an unbelievable amount of time. Somethings must be completely wrong with the design of their check-in system. We had 4 rooms, located on different floors. The room key only allows access to your own floor, which makes it really annoying to visit your family's rooms

The hotel shut off the water for floors 15 and below with no warning. Came back to the room to just air coming out of the faucets. The front desk person on the phone was super rude. Said all they could refund was a resort fee. I am pursuing a full refund. Then he offered to have house keeping bring up water. They sent 4 mini water bottles. At around 1:30am we changed rooms. Also the check in process is self check in. Supposed to make things easier but it was chaos. 100% do not recommend this place.

The pool was extremely dirty. We went to a completely different hotel just to go swimming. That's how dirty the pool was.

It was the first time we did a self check in. It was hard to find the correct elevator. Our room was far from the elevator. The room didn't have a coffee machine or refrigerator. The gym was dirty. We enjoyed the show Mad Apple. Lots of restaurants to pick from. The check out process wasn't clear. But, overall we had a nice stay.

It sometimes took almost 15 minutes just to get an elevator up or down! 4 elevators but only allowing you to get on the one they pick for you is insane. Every elevator ride was always overpacked with people and had to stop on SEVERAL floors before you finally get to your destination. I'm very claustraphobic and riding overpacked elevators had my anxiety on overload. Rooms were ok but the bathroom had some brown stains under the sink, gross. Will not be returning just for the elevator issues alone, staff was nice though

Pool water was way too cold! Las Vegas was super hot but the water did not even feel refreshing how cold it was. We went to MGM to swim after that and their water was perfect!

Didn't have breakfast, the room was clean when I arrived but while it was being serviced during my stay, all that was done was making the bed and cleaning the garbage cans, it was not "cleaned"

Our room was clean and stocked well with towels, TP, etc. Nothing was broken or excessively worn. Unlike past experiences in Las Vegas, the room did not smell like cigarette smoke either!

Check in was easy staff was very helpful. Room wasn’t very clean the table was dirty and bathroom floor was not clean. Sheets were clean so that was a plus. Best part was staff was helpful and hotel has plenty of places to eat. We never left the hotel

The hotel was a little dirty, there was hair in both tub. The elevators area was heavy traffic with people waiting. The elevators were dirty.

Overall, my family enjoyed our stay. The location on the strip was perfect. Easy access to shopping and restaurants. The food choices inside the hotel were great also. However, our rooms could’ve been cleaner. There was a ton of hair on the floor in the bathroom. Also, the telephone cord in our room had an eyelash tangled in it. That was pretty gross. Would I stay again… yes. But will definitely inspect my room with a fine tooth comb next time.

I liked the beds and pillows for sure. It was a great sleep after a long night of drinking and playing thanks for everything.

We had a basic king room. Surprised to find that means no fridge (empty space where it should be) and a missing drawer not knowing what may have been there. Noisy on the roller coaster side, thankful that it shuts down at midnight. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.

I had mixed feelings about my stay here. Let’s start with the good: check-in was quick and easy, and the bed was honestly amazing; it was super comfortable, and the room itself was spacious and clean. I also appreciated the added layer of security with elevator key access to the guest floors. Now for the not-so-great parts. Our first room reeked of smoke (despite it being non-smoking), and we had to go all the way back down to the front desk to get new keys for a room change. Honestly, if the issue is with the room, the hotel should bring the replacement keys to you, especially in a property this large! The in-room amenities were disappointing. No fridge, no microwave … in Las Vegas of all places?! That seems like a basic standard, and it was a real inconvenience. The TV also had very limited channels, none of the ones I wanted to watch, and the Wi-Fi was painfully slow. As for dining, there weren’t as many restaurant options as I expected for a resort this size, and nothing really stood out. The casino floor was busy, and while I don’t mind crowds, they weren’t managing table access well; five people were standing around waiting at the crap table, and yet they didn’t open another one. That is throwing away money. The view from our room was…a parking lot. Not ideal. Also, the hotel’s location on the Strip feels a bit out of the way unless you have a car, and to make it worse, they charge for parki

Nice and spacy room. The bath room needs some updating. Unfortunately you can hear the rollercoaster until almost midnight. Otherwise the hotel is in a good location to explore the surroundings on the strip.

We stay at this hotel every year, so we really like the hotel itself. Although, the room we recently stayed in had a few issues. The HVAC was very loud, the sink in the bathroom was very, very slow to drain, extremely uncomfortable bed, and the overall cleanliness wasn’t the greatest. Disappointing. Not what we’re used to from this hotel. We did enjoy the restaurants and love the location. The casino is usually a lot of fun, however, this year, we felt that the volatility of the slots are now WAY higher than usual. Did not have as much fun in the casino as we usually do.

I stayed at New York-New York for the first time, and unfortunately, it was my worst experience in Las Vegas and I’ve been over 15 times. The room itself was fine for the price, but it lacked basic amenities: no fridge and no coffee machine, which was disappointing. Check-in was long and staff were not particularly helpful or responsive. I had a confirmed $75 food and beverage credit through Hotels.com. Hotels.com even contacted the hotel directly to confirm it, and I was told to visit the front desk to receive the card. I was given a list of eligible restaurants and told to charge my meals to the room. I did exactly that only to be informed at check-out that the credit wouldn’t be honored and the charges would stay on my bill. I didn’t have time to argue at 3:30 a.m. before catching my flight, but I reported the issue to Hotels.com. Overall, terrible service and zero accountability from the staff. For such a large hotel, I expected much better. Definitely not a place I would return to.

In room mini fridge/coffee maker would be a plus. Check out was ridiculous! The online check out and kiosk wasn’t working and there were only 2 people working at the registration desk. It was honestly absurd.

They gave away my room the first night so they end up comping me a room at the Aria Sky Suites my room was absolutely beautiful there at Sky Suites. The next morning I called and asked them. Why should I have to move when I want to be out exploring they would not just keep me at the sky suites for my stay, which I think is only reasonable. They did try to give me my resort fees back to spend in the hotel like it was a reward, but they were my resort fees that I had already paid for and they gave me $100 credit on top of that for food and drinks and a gift bag of champagne. They did try to do right but still they should’ve just let me stay at the Sky Suites and comped that stay my room should’ve never been given away at 1:30 in the morning when it had already been paid for. I had to pay for a taxi and haul my luggage across the casino floor and then get up the next morning and haul it back out and pay for another taxi back to the New York, New York and leave my bags at the bellhop and pay for another tip.

I used the Self check in. I received an email stating room was ready. I made the cards and proceeded to the room only to have a maid still cleaning it and a locksmith working on the lock. I had to return to the front desk to get a different room. It was a little frustrating.

Elevator to the parking garage malfunctioned causing injury to my wife. Security was notified, and the were helpful , but mostly documented the occurrences in case of a lawsuit. Asked help desk for a shower seat… never got it, asked to fix a bathroom hot water shut off problem..,,never came, was offered a complimentary wheelchair for my injured wife…. poor coordination with the bell desk, many bags of laundry in the hall outside our too our entire stay…..long line for our 3pm check-in with only one clerk working the majority of the time!

Check in assistance was excellent; the issue is hotels.com confirmation numbers don’t crossover for self check in which is the only option at NYNY. The room must have had a party prior to my arrival because there were still thumbtacks and remnants of decorations on the walls. And there is no conditioner in the shower.

Our room was clean and comfy. Check in was super easy, and the staff were right there when we had a question.

This was our first time visiting Las Vegas, and our stay at the New York New York was fantastic! The whole team were so incredible! We had some last minute changes we wanted to make with our room arrangements, and the New York New York staff were so nice and did all they could to accommodate our requests, everyone in our group had such a great time in and out of the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms to recharge at before heading back out to explore as much as we could of Las Vegas. Thank you to the staff at New York New York for the wonderful stay!

I’ve always wanted to stay at this hotel and I’m so glad I did. The room was very nice very clean. Only complaint is the walk from the elevator since it is a very big hotel but overall I loved it. Right on the strip, many food options, would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was a blast! It has great food, atmosphere, and was placed at a fun spot on the strip (not to mention that it is SUPER close to the T-Mobile Arena). Only issues is that some of the room amenities were broken (safe and TV). It took a while for the safe to be repaired. Customer service also takes a while to pick up when you make a call. Overall, this was a great place to stay and a lot of fun!

NY NY is an older hotel so the cleanliness was adequate. There are plenty of restaurants and other things to do within the hotel and where it sits on the strip is convenient for walking.
