The facilities are dated and when we got to our room there was a bug on our bed and a bug on our curtains. We looked under the mattresses and didn’t see any bed bugs so we let it be. Then we went to the pool where the hot tub is just a giant dangerous hole. There were a group of people drinking next to the pool. Then one of the guys that had been drinking a while got in the pool, stood in the corner for about 2-4 minutes and then hopped out. If you’re going to get in the pool just to pee in it then go inside. Got my kids and went to give them a shower. When we got to the room the shower had no hot water. So if you’re looking for a dingy hotel with a cold shower, it’ll be right up your alley.

I realize the establishment is currently under going “ Renovations” nevertheless, “Hot Water” is imperative. The trains ran constantly however, “No Horns”. That’s Great!! The Breakfast was outstanding. I was prepared to return this weekend until the Hot Water issues. Some vibrations from the Trains passing by.

Nice place. You can bring your own food to cook. The room has a kitchen with pots, pans & dishes to use. I only gave it 4 stars because the pool was disgusting. The water was green. You couldn’t see the bottom. I was disappointed because my kids love to swim and we couldn’t. They put a Maintenance sign on the pool after I asked if it would get cleaned. And I can not forget about Ms. Patricia in the kitchen!!! She did a great job with the food. Friday night she did nachos, baked potatoes and baked chicken breast! Soooo delicious!!! We will book again when we return that way!

Paid $200 for a single and grandson cldnt go swimming nor play his Xbox, room was infested with nets and no body wash available in shower , only good thing was the bed slept comfortable!!! Wouldn’t dare recommend this stay to anyone especially when it’s reunion and wedding time!!! Hotels located by AppleBee’s in Monroe,La will forever be getting my coins for here on out!!! I hate I didn’t book with them earlier

Check in process was pleasant, even though the room was not available, we did receive a well equipped other room option. Staff was pleasant, the room is comfortable, but we did bring the bathroom ceiling mold to the attention of staff.

Horrible experience. Amount issues were: 1st room was dirty upon arrival including hair in the sink. The rooms sliding closet door was loose, couch cushions had stab marks and smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling. They were going to fix and clean things but did nothing after 12 hours so switched rooms next room was dirty including a chewed on bottle cap in the fold out bed and Bobby pin in Kleenex box, plastic that lines the carpet was misaligned and sharp. Property and both rooms were worn down. Had motel vibes. Front entry was nice, staff was friendly. Broken bottles in the parking lot, sketchy people playing basketball late at night in the dark some wearing ski masks. Secure door was propped open with a large rock and there was a hair in my eggs. It was too late to switch hotels but for my stay the following week I switched and I will never return to this location.

The rooms doors had marks on them looks like from the baggage cart, the doors need to be painted. The carpet is worn and should be replaced, hallway and room, there's a train that goes by all hours of the night.

It all started when we got there to check in and there was no one at the front desk. The hotel isn’t horrible, it needs fresh coats of paint in the walls, and lots of repairs. The room itself was nice, clean, and very comfortable, but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Nous avions pris rendez-vous pour le nettoyage de la chambre, mais il n'a jamais été fait sur les 7 nuits ou nous avons été là (ou alors c'est que nous n'avons pas compris le fonctionnement?), alors nous avons demandé à la réceptionniste des serviettes propres. Les chambres sont mal insonorisées, bruit de portes, paroles des autres voisins, nous entendons tout, particulièrement les gros moteurs de climatisations situés à l'extérieur de l'hôtel, mais à côté de notre chambre. La salle de fitness n'est pas assez grande, et n'a pas assez de machine, ou un cadre multifonction, il y a juste de cardio et quelques haltères L'hôtel et les chambres sont entretenus, nous reviendrons

The front desk refused to clean my room daily during my 3 day stay, dispute the fact that I was only booked for 3 nights. She said I could only get my room cleaned and refreshed every 3rd day. I explained I would only be there 3 days , so she explained I would get no housekeeping services. I do not recommend this hotel. It was pricey for no reason. The service sucked .

We arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon. I inquired if we could check in and the young lady told me the room( 2 bedrooms suite)wasn’t ready told me to try back in an hour. We went back around 5pm, different young lady tell me that they have been having trouble with all of the 2 bedroom suite and the would have to put us in separate rooms ( My husband, bound son17, goddaughter 9, and grandson 3 and myself. We agreed to this, my husband and son in one room, myself and the other 2 in another room. Next morning I get a call from the front desk that the 2 bedroom suite is ready or we can stay where we are. We chose to stay where we were. 10 minutes late I received another call and was told I had to go to the 2 bedroom suite or I would be charged for the rooms that we were in. So it’s ok for me to be ok when you all don’t get it right but now I gotta repack, move and unpack again. I was very disappointed with this treatment.

Nice hotel, clean and quiet no issues, we had two suites they accommodated us by putting them side by side for family. free breakfast was a good spread for our kids, local mall is next door for easy shopping within walking distance

My husband loves Monroe. We always have a great time. And this is a great hotel. It's in a prime location there's lots of restaurants around and plenty of shopping. The bed is comfortable but those pillows are awful.
