The room was dirty. Someone’s sock was under the bed so they clearly don’t clean under there. The pool was also so cloudy, you couldn’t even see your legs. And way too much chlorine.

We stayed here because it was close to an ice rink as part of a hockey tournament. Zero frills, borderline unfriendly at check-in. Also not nearly enough parking spaces. The pool was small and overcrowded, and the water seemed to be a bit murky. No on-site amenities to speak of, the only community area that had a TV closed at 8PM so we were not even able to watch the game there. would not recommend and will never go back.

Appreciate the free charging. Property is dated. Bad smells on the 3rd floor. Gym needed towels and fill up on wet wipes, and cups for the water cooler. Cramped bathroom, with awkward TP placement. Staff was amenable, though.

The water in the pool was disturbing. The lack of ventilation in the pool area is deadly. The kids in the pool area were coughing it was terrible. Our sheets were dirty. We called to report it to the front desk...we were offered clean sheets. We are supposed to get 20% off for our inconvenience.

Our room had garbage under the bed, the pool and spa area was not taken care of, about 50 people over the limit and nobody seemed to care how unsafe it was. No towels in pool area, when we asked for some we were asked to use our room towels and they would get us towels for our room. They never did.

My room reeked of smoke, I was not only worried I’d be charged but could not sleep due to allergies to smoke. The breakfast ends at 9 on the weekend and I felt locals go here, stay the night, over use the pool ( it and the hot tub were so dirty) and then shop at the breakfast! Saw many taking large portions to their room. I will not stay here again

Black Mold all over the bathroom. Broken sink drain. Leaking pipe under sink. Broken tiles. Shower curtain rod pulling out of the wall. Smells like smoke. 2nd room we got due to unsanitary conditions. The second is the same as the first. Will not refund my money. Forced to pay for room even though we can’t stay with mold in the building.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. It is disgusting. There is black mold on the ceilings in the rooms. Hair under the pillows and blankets. There was even hair on the ceiling of the bathrooms inside the rooms. We asked for a refund & the manager did not want to work with us. We argued for 2 hours. He also stated the rooms were “used” because we messed up the bed & they would not refund us. As we were arguing with the manager he also stated they have no house keeping..first of all that is disgusting & why would you tell a customer that..i guess they were being honest but that literally proves my point on how dirty this hotel is. Go stay at Candlewood suites Detroit in Sterling Heights.

The cleanliness was not good, the mirrors were filthy, hairs in the bed, on the toilet, sheets clearly not washed in between guests. When I addressed the issue they showed me a couple more rooms and 2 of 3 were dirty as well. If I wasn’t so tired & didn’t feel like searching for somewhere else to stay the night I definitely wouldn’t have kept my reservation.

When I first got there, I pulled the covers back to check the bed and there was hair in the bed under the covers with the check the bathroom there was here on the toilet. The carpet alongside the wall was coming up. Went down to front desk to ask for another room the guy came and told me that they were booked up and that he’s doing me a favor by changing my room because they’re corporately owned and corporate would charge me which I know is a lie. He informed me that I wasn’t allowed to touch anything in this other room so I just looked around without touching anything cool and fine see no hair see nothing go take a shower come back and lay down. I’m laying in the bed and what do I see a bedbug. Called down to the front desk the guy cam up to see it and change my room

It was the worst hotel ever the desk clerk was rude did not help our TV did not work properly. They did not want to exchange our rooms or help us with anything. They didn’t even wanna give me a refund so I left there for a paid room that I did not get refunded on I will never stay there again

Wonderful service, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool was a little cloudy but I think it was just because there were quite a few people down there. Pool was nice and cool after being in the hot tub. It was in a nice location near to restaurants and gas stations.

great environment- great staff- excellent breakfast- I was so glad for the eggs- and hot cocoa. and french vanilla creamer. (it's the little things) Little disappointed with the pool hours. 10 to 10. So no early morning swim before my meetings. And we got back late both nights. Overall- it was wonderful

Hotel seemed clean but in need of repairs. Carpet in my room was old, dated, and coming up with the tack strip showing. Mattress on the bed was on the firm side, not super comfortable. It was nice to be able to use the jacuzzi bathtub. Breakfast was typical for a Best Western. Not sure if I would stay there again although the location is convenient to where we were visiting.
