1st didn't kno it required a 50dollar deposit had no cash they had all the laundry throwed around in msin lobby where everyone could see than get to room dusty no hot water didnt have housekeeping couldn't get clean towels they the sheet on top of comforter wasn't the comforter as pictured

Cleanliness was terrible. Broken down dresser, couldn't use. I wiped down the room to sanitize and clean,swept with my own broom. Bugs. I stayed for two days obviously because I needed to, had no choice at the particular time. There were no television service til the second day after 6pm. The outside at entrance was not welcoming at all,dirty windows and door.I will never go back to that place.

I arrived late at night so had to stay for the first night. I turned in my keys and did not stay the second night. The room was full of a stale smoke smell which caused me to have asthma problems. The towels were small and threadworn - but they were clean. The bathroom and sink seemed relatively clean, but there was a lot of deferred maintenance (some unsafe - like the facade of a cabinet drawer that was broken off, but the staples were sticking through into the open-faced drawer). I woke up when a cockroach crawled on my wrist. I feel like the staff did the best they could but didn't feel an overwhelming amount of customer service. That is, when I turned in my keys, the front desk person did not ask what was wrong or try to remedy in any way. But really not sure what they could have done anyway. It is a worn down facility in a transitional area right next to some of the most challenged parts of the metropolitan area.

This is a disgusting motel that is falling apart. The sheets are disgusting, the pillows are gross. Paint chipping off the wall. Cigarette burns on all of the furniture. The smoke alarm was disconnected and in a cage. No remote, no grabage cans. Toilet ran constantly. The shower didn’t work properly because the shower head wasn’t attached correctly. People screaming in the night. The cabinet was replaced by a plywood box. The entire room smelled awful. Easily the worst place I ever stayed. Oh, and come to find out someone was murdured there days before I checked-in. Not surprised at all actually.

The first room had a busted shower and broken ac. The lock on the door looked liked it was kicked in. I requested a new room. This 2nd room had a used condom and a douche container in the bathroom. The deadbolt on the door was stuck so the room couldn't be secured. I ended up leaving and not staying. Lost money but the room wasnt clean or safe.

The property was a perfect location to where I needed to be in Detroit but the staff at night was the worst. If you do not prepay your room, regardless if you reserve on here. If someone comes in and pays. They give away your reservations, heard it from the New Managers mouth. I was lucky to still have mine when I arrived. But again, I got lucky. It’s sad my reservation meant nothing, it wasn’t pre-paid.

Booked online and didn’t have any rooms when I arrived. Told me she would refund and cancel my reservation online, but didn’t. Pretty scummy and sketchy. Place smelled of cigarettes and was not organized in the lobby upon arrival. All around would not recommend to anyone.

I have an issue with the return policy for deposits. The property only returns deposits between 7a-7p, but my problem was that my bus left Detroit at 640am. I had to leave Detroit without my deposit and now have to wait for management to mail me my deposit.

The front desk attendant was great. However, the hotel policy requires you to have a $50 deposit in cash despite booking the room with your credit card. Not knowing that I was unable to check into my room after driving for six hours. I was forced to find somewhere else to stay and the owners are refusing to give me a refund despite not making that policy clear before reserving. Do not stay here unless you’re absolutely desperate.

I reserved two nights and the clerk was aware that this was an emergency stay due to my mother being in the ER at St. Joseph’s John Henry. We reserved the room at 11 pm Friday night but we’re not able to get there til early morning Saturday 5am. They would not let us check in because it was after 3 am. They cancelled my room for the next day as well. The room was paid for. They never explained to us that we had to be there by 3 am. The place was very dirty in the office and the grounds. The manager was not willing to work with us at all knowing our situation. He stated he did give us a refund on the second night, but is waiting for hotels.com to reach back out to him to confirm it all. Very poor customer service. Will never go there or try to go there again.

I have stayed here numerous times. The front desk person was very friendly/I’ve never had an issue with check-in. The hotel is quite dated and in need of improvement, but if you are realistic about the price point and want a clean place to stay, this will probably do the trick. There are no bugs. The sheets are usually quite clean. The standard of housekeeping is fairly low/the parking lot is usually dirty, but the sheets are clean, it’s a good location, check in is easy, and it’s inexpensive.

My stay here was absolutely horrible and I want to request a refund. There was a lady who worked the front desk. I called and asked her name I was told her name was Vannessa she has blonde hair and tattoos on her arms. I asked for a towel and wash cloth I was told before she could give me one I had to turn in my old ones I did that. She open the towel and inspected it and said I left stains on them which I did not they were already stained. She also tried kicking me out of my room on July 6th my check out wasn’t suppose to be until July 7th. I believe this lady should be fired from her job. Very hateful and angry and aggressive for no reason. I tried getting her to calm down and told her I didn’t want trouble I just wanted a wash clothes and towel she got even more angry. The room was also extremely dirty and the bed was stained.

I’m not a picky person when it comes to hotel rooms and think most people who write poor reviews or file complaints are being dramatic. I just stayed at your location in Warren Michigan and it was objectively dirty. There was visible dirt, thick dust, rust, large stains on the comforter, water marks, and sticky floors. It smelled strongly of old smoke. Outlets were too old and worn to hold plugs in firmly including the cords for both my phone and my cpap that I need to breathe at night. Lightbulbs, and entire dresser drawers were missing and the TV was broken. There was a photo on the wall that had a large chunk of glass missing from the broken frame. I was very uncomfortable staying here and I wish I had gone somewhere else or slept on an air mattress on my friend’s floor. This room should not be rented out to people.

If I could give them a zero I would. It's like a place people go to do drugs or something. Unsafe, nasty, dirty linen, caution tape all over the outside, steps not accessible, trash everywhere, towels soiled, no drawers, door frame has a whole in it. Appear to been kicked in before, customer service horrible, tub nasty, no phone, nothing works properly. I can keep going.. it's just that bad.. not even worth paying 50.00 to stay..
