I really liked everything about this hotel. I liked the automatic sensors in the bathroom so that I didn’t have to worry about turning the lights on and off, I love the fixtures in the bathroom the sink and the shower and the hot water was hot instantly I didn’t have to wait for it to heat up. The bed was comfortable the pillows were comfortable. I had a great view of the city and it was so convenient to the transportation center that it was very easy to get anywhere that I wanted to go. The staff were very nice. The restaurant had a good selection of options. I actually had the chocolate mousse Cake that was so decadent and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this property. I know that if I need to travel to Alexandria again, I will look at staying there again. I just wish they had a pool.

The hotel is close to the metro which is a plus. The room was fine. The service was average. It took 45 minutes and multiple calls to replace a broken lamp in my room. The fitness center has two outdated treadmills. No pool. The breakfast buffet costs $27and has nothing special. I expect more from a four start hotel. I paid $95 for two days parking.

Everything was good. The only complaint was that there is not a coffee maker in room or complimentary coffee in the lobby. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but then you’re stuck paying several dollars for a black coffee every morning.

I have stayed in your hotel several times in the past & it was much cleaner. My room had sticky surfaces, one side of the sheer curtains was missing, the desk chair had crumbles on it & the staff didn't leave me a liner for the ice bucket until the last day of my stay.

The major positive of this hotel is its location—very close to the train and metro. However, the beds were not comfortable (very lumpy) and the thermostat did not seem to work. We like to sleep cool and at 64 degrees it was still so warm in the room. Also, they offer only 2 bottles of water for the entire 3 day stay. Really? You can’t do 2 a day? The room needed a deep cleaning. There was lots of dust and grime. We had a delicious breakfast at the restaurant.

The location of this hotel is excellent but I think our room was infested with either bed bugs or fleas. I had several itchy, round insect bites on my legs after the first night and by the second morning, I had new insect bites on my legs and ears. We didn\'t spend much time outside in Alexandria due to 95 temperature weather, so I\'m fairly certain the bites came from the hotel. The friend I was traveling with also mentioned she was itchy and noticed the floor in our room was quite damp. Cleanliness in our room was certainly lacking. During our stay we noticed several dogs with other guests in the lobby (possibly "service" dogs) but I would assume they have specific "pet-friendly" rooms when needed. I love dogs (and have one myself) and usually enjoy Hilton but this stay was simply unpleasant. As for location, it\'s just a block away from the Metro and two blocks from Amtrak.. It\'s also right on King St. with easy access to restaurants and activities.

I have stayed at many Hilton properties, and by far, this one was the worst. The rooms are old, and the tub was extremely dirty. I felt disgusted honestly but had an early flight and wanted a hotel near the airport. Never again!

I had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Very difficult to figure out where to park due to all the special Memberships, room service was done one day. I Know I Had several reservations due to a family emergency but just frustrating! However, desk staff, day night was wonderful, I was very stressed and a 2 day weekend turned into a7 day stay, but the hospitality and understanding of your reception desk people was beyond compare! Thank you!

The front desk staff was very friendly but the bartender was on the crabby side, which along with a martini in plastic barware, was a disappointment after a 9-hour drive. And he ran out of said martini ‘plastic’ glass & my next one was in a rocks glass. Overall, the place was an overpriced hospitality experience & it could have been much better.

The AC in my room didn’t work. The hotel staff was less than helpful the first night. The next day they said it had been looked at and was working. After another night with no AC they moved me to a new room. That room had AC that functioned, but the lack of customer service from the first night left a bad impression.

I was surprised to learn that I could not get any recognition as. Hilton Honors member for this stay simply because it was an Expedia purchase. Marriott regularly takes care of me in this way so this might be a lesson that I need to give up on Hilton. Or maybe it was an untrained front desk? More fundamentally, though, we encountered a frustrating problem when we awoke on the morning of our departure to discover no bath towels in our room -- from the day before, service staff seemed to have removed used towels but not replaced them. We tried multiple numbers from our room phone, including one even marked "customer service hotline," and got no answer. At this point, I had to get dressed and go down four floors to ask the front desk staff for help. They didn't seem at all apologetic, but at least assured me someone would come up immediately. Another twenty minutes passed and I called the front desk again. This time, mercifully, they answered and said someone would be right up. Ten minutes later they were. Our morning was thrown off, to be sure, but we are just grateful it wasn't happening the day before, when we had a family funeral to get to. It's a shame to have had such a bizarre stay at what is otherwise a terrific Hilton in a terrific location.

Old Town has so much charm and so many things to do. The Hilton is in a perfect location, being right across the street from the King Street Metro. There is also a free trolley that takes you up and down King Street if you didn’t want to walk. The area is safe, with so many dining and shopping options. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at The Hilton in Old Town again!

The hotel is right next to the King Street Metro station and there is an elevator at the station for accessibility. It would be slightly better if there was a ramp at the door nearest to the Metro station. The ramp is at the other entrance by the covered driveway to the parking. The hotel is very secure with key access needed in elevator for room floors.

Great hotel located 50 feet from the King Street Metro Statiion! Old Town is a village unto itself with tons of great shops within walking distance or better yet the free trolley service!

Quesadilla was dry, but Tavern bar staff was excellent and made my staycation wonderful. Next time, if not so cold, would look for dining options within a couple blocks. This is Old Town, you need to competitive. Room, on the other hand A triple A plus. So wonderful, large, relaxing! Will definitely put this on my short list for next staycation, just may eat out. 🙃

Unbeknownst until checkin, no lunch/dinner/bar/room service was available due to "holiday scheduling." A Hilton with no room service?! Shower was devilishly hard to temperature-control (maybe hot water team was on holiday?). Unannounced, but room hospitality service was only available on request (and then didn\'tfully replenish the coffee maker supplies). You can find that out by QR code, scroll to Services, etc., but it should be up-front part of checkin. Site is right at King St. Metro stop, a plus. Staff was very friendly. Pillows were huge and so soft as to be unsupporting.

The breakfast buffet was cold. Even the coffee was cold. We mentioned it and they made a new pot, not sure where the pot was kept so that it got cold. The shower did not have any cold water, it was scalding hot. The engineer asked us to flood the pipes but that didnt work. We were only there 2 days but we couldnt use the shower either of those days.
