This hotel does not have a fitness center!!!!

Room is dated and noisy because the wedding banquet hall just connected right beside the hotel’s hallway and we can hear people talking on the phone loud ( inconsiderate about others ) and running back and forth the hallway around 12:00 am midnight when we are tried to sleep. Parking is free but it may difficult to find one when hall ( convention centre) with events going on ! Breakfast is free so don’t expect too much Anyway, not a good experience for 2 nights and We can do better with the price we paid in other hotel 😞

A good spot for the money but website said shuttle to airport provided which it isn’t.

Easy access to the venue we were attending. Property was clean but not much service or facilities are offered (pool, gym, convenience store, etc.). Vending machines were old and only accepted cash (no credit card). Taxi/Uber is the preferred transportation to go to "nearby" restaurants or convenience stores.

Decent average hotel. There is an event center or something on site so the parking lot gets filled up with those vehicles and can make it a little difficult to park during an event. Only other issue we had was the grounds guy scraping ice off the sidewalk outside out room for over an hour. It was thicker and set up and would have taken that long just that it was after midnight and there was no sleeping through it. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

Very low quality hotel. Many people hanging around in totally bare lobby section. No amenities. Surrounded by parking lot. No visible staff.

Room was badly maintained from damaged desktop and nightstands to large gunk spots on bathroom mirror. Room was very small. Outdated establishment and no shuttle to/from airport. Spent $70 just to get there and back to airport.

Room in poor condition. Smelled musty and damp. They even had a glade plugin to try and mask the odour. Dated and old furniture showing its age. Lots of dust, especially in the AC unit. Old deteriorating caulking in bathroom etc...overall a subpar property. We won't book there again.

The room was quite dirty. I was surprised at how even just a quick wipe down of the walls would have made a difference, but it just looked neglected. Also, my room window was to the hallway - which felt like a fire hazard (probably isn’t because the hotel has been around a while - but it just did not feel safe). The staff were very friendly and check in/check out was easy. The parking lot is large, and close to the airport.

Only stayed one night but would have checked out if staying longer. Our room smelt like dust, a huge hole in the wall around the AC, wallpaper peeling, disgusting toilet/shower.

This hotel was very dirty. Both the lobby and the smelled. The sheets were dirty. It appears that the room has not been cleaned properly in a very long time. A very disappointing stay.

Horrible experience. Bed bugs in the room, weird smell and terrible amenities.

Bed bugs in the room. Did not smell fresh. We had to leave because of the bed bugs and I would like a refund.

Room smelled like mildew, stains on the bedding, feces left in the toilet, scuffs on the walls and furniture, dust on surfaces, lumpy bed and pillows. Did not feel like a clean, well-maintained room at all. Staff however was all very kind and helpful.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The building is extremely old, the curtains didn’t even cover the window properly, and the room booked for two people, had only one set of toiletries. The real nightmare was finding a cockroach in the room right before we were about to go out. When we told the front desk, the staff acted like it was completely normal. No apology, no concern—nothing. He took a photo of my phone (luckily I had managed to snap a picture) and just handed us a key to another room as if this happened every day. Absolutely unacceptable. Breakfast was mediocre at best. And there was a guy working in the breakfast area who looked completely unprofessional, which matched the overall lack of standards throughout the place. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else. This hotel is not worth the stress, the discomfort, or the hygiene issues. Seriously—avoid it.

The staff were wonderful and the room and lobby were spotless. The breakfast was quite good as well. We had cause to call the front desk a couple of times and they responded quickly both times. The first was to enquire about a safety mat for the shower. We did not request an accessible room, which we will do the next time, but most hotel rooms have either a rubber shower mat or textured strips on the tub floor for safety. It would be a good idea to have at least one of these options available to your guests. The other issue was that only two of the room’s electrical outlets were working. We found this very odd and also a bit inconvenient. We had two phones and two laptops that needed charging as well as the desk lap not working because there was no electrical outlet anywhere near it. We will stay at Woodbine Hotel and Suites again because it is convenient for us, but also because of your staff. Thanks very much.

Tv didn’t work happy I was tired and went to bed. No windows. There’s a window that looks into a hall

Pictures were a bit misleading, not as extravagant and depicted. I got a king room and it was very small. Upon entering the room it was blistering hot, relized there was 3 separate heat controls and one of them was set to 30 degrees, went to maybe open a window and to my disbelief, my ground level room looked into a banquet hall!!!! There was several events in the banquet halls with loud music at all hours of the day.

Room run down and in desperate need of an upgrade. Room was hot and there was no way to change the temperature. Main floor room had no window to the outside, instead the window looked into dining area which was awkward and noisy.

No window to outdoors, our large window faced a réception hall - no emergency exit!!! Bathroom corners were dirty, shower curtain was dirty, bed felt like concrète. Will not recommend or visit again.

The deadbolt lock on the door did not work and the plate was very loose. Also, many of the receptacles did not work. I had a King size bed and the pillows were 3 tiny square pillows that your head could barely fit on. When I checked out, I told the reception desk about it all.

The room was very spacious with ample seating for eating or watching TV. The king bed was comfortable but could use bigger pillows or a couple more. The jacuzzi tub was deep. Hard to get in if you’re short and there’s no rail to hang on too. Water pressure is slow. Took a long time to get a good amount of water in order to use the jets. Bathroom was ok. Some minor repair is needed. There was only 2 small bath towels. We had to ask for more and the housekeeping staff were not friendly about it. Large hotel with a lot of parking. Considering it was full, it was very quiet even with a wedding reception being held there. We would stay again

Room was clean, front desk staff were friendly. But, the hallways were really cold! There was a gap under the door to the room, and a freezing cold draft came into the room, making it so cold, no matter how high I ran the heater. I placed some towels at the bottom of the door to block the draft, but it never quite got warm enough.

not even have a proper pillow, only 3 cushion. Back and neck pain after. Hope they can do some improvement

In our initial room the air conditioning was not working. Upon notifying the front desk, staff arrived and determined that it was in fact not workiing. He immediately arranged for a new room for us. All was well then.

My family and I love Woodbine Hotel and Suites. The staff are awesome and we had a wow experience overall. Kudos to the management and staff.

They didn't return my Deposit Even though we didn't break anything. I will never stay there again. Also, The staff attitude was bad.

I stayed here for the 1st time a few days ago and will NEVER go back! I do not recommend because it was scary staying here. I checked in at approx. 6.00pm and about an hour later, I heard someone trying to get into my room (they were pushing the door, turning the door handle on the outside)! I was so afraid, I told them they must have the wrong room but they insisted they were given keys to the room I was in. The reception made a huge mistake. Also, approx. 30 minutes later, security came to my door and said I had to leave because I had been there since 11.00 am (which is false). The reality was I had checked in just 1.5 hrs before. Breakfast tasted terrible (eggs, sausages, potatoes, toast,coffee) and it was late. At 7.00am, the containers were still empty. Woman in the kitchen was extremely rude and unpleasant!

Our checkin was easy and very appreciated onsidering our flight was delayed and check in was at 3 30a.m. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect firmness. The breakfast was all you could hope for. Waffles, bacon sausage eggs home fries. Also fruit muffins and toast. Coffee and juice were also included. The workers were friendly and attentive. The owner was working at everything and also very friendly We will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to our friends and family

I booked a 2 bed hotel room here but after I completed my check in and visited the room, I saw they gave me just 1 bed and kept a foldable bed(very dirty no sheets) in the room! I was surprised as the person who checked me in didn't even bother to tell me that I was not getting the room I paid for! I went to reception again with my concern and the person told all rooms are book so I need to adjust.. pathetic! If I would have told before checking in then I would have booked another hotel at same price and better room! They blind the customers and don't give the value for money.. would never recommend or book this hotel again! Room and washroom not clean as well!

Room was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Lots of restaurant choices nearby and across the street from Casino. The only thing is that Hotel does not have cable

This hotel has a type of nostalgic charm. Checking in was smooth and quick the representative was courteous, helpful and friendly. The rooms and reception area was very clean. It was a surprise to find out that breakfast was included with our booking. My family was visiting from out of country and found getting around with public transport was just a short walk away. It was also in close proximity of the Woodbine Center Mall and Woodbine Racetrack and Casino.

Quiet place to stay, close the to airport but much more affordable than most others

We stayed here to go to a concert at downsview. But also wanted to be fairly close to the airport. Not knowing the area we thought public transport would be fairly easy. it turned out to be much more complex with Kipling apparently being the closest station which was still 30m bus ride. We ended up driving and parking which we didn’t have an issue with and was only 20m drive. the hotel and rooms appeared to be clean but the overall decor is quite outdated which kind of made it feel a bit icky, giving the feeling of it not being clean. On inspection we had no complaint about the cleanliness of our room. Our room was continently located, sheets were clean bathroom/ toilet clean. Towels were soft/fresh but the room did have a weird smell overall. We were not sure if it was maybe damp or the AC but at times smelt stale/animal smell which didn’t really go the longer you were in there. This made the room feel less clean than it probably was. Despite this we did sleep well. Breakfast was much nicer than expected given our initial impression when we arrived. Cool little set up there.all self serve. Breakfast staff looked more like observers (while the women was cooking the guy just stood scowling the entire time) not particularly friendly not rude either. Check in/ check out was simple enough. Friendly staff. Overall our stay was ok, I probably wouldn’t stay here again but i guess compared to some of the Toronto $$ it was a suitable budget friendly room.

Disappointed because I thought I had booked the hotel on the casino property. Instead it was 5km away in an industrial area with no walk to restaurants.

As with many of the reviews, it is an older complex which is showing its age. The hot breakfast was eggs, bacon and sausage. Note that the breakfast starts at 7am which is a little late for those hoping for an early start. Overall okay value.

Older hotel but very nice and clean. Felt the hotel was pricey for what they provided, but the staff were friendly and professional. The room was quiet, bed was okay, and breakfast offered scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, has brown, muffins, bowl of fresh melons, white and whole wheat bread to toast, waffles, and juice, tea, coffee. The lady at the breakfast buffet was very kind and welcoming.

The breakfast option was very limited and the same menu. I would have preferred more variety or chane of menu from day to day. Also there is no cereal option.

Had issues with the key cards twice, the first time only 1/2 worked to unlock the door, when returning from breakfast both didn't work, went to front desk to fix them and then still only 1/2 worked. Breakfast supposed to be until 10am, when arrived at 9:15 already no meat left, very few potatoes, no more fruits or toast available for guest and waffle machine had been shut off by staff. Very disappointing.

Overall better than expected with an exceptional value. Spacious rooms with great heat/AC. Washroom amenities were great. Beds were great but a little saggy in ‘often used’ section. Quality sheets pillows and towels. Fridge microwave hairdryer and iron all great. TV was great with good channel selection. Free breakfast was better than expected … good selection and clean. Breakfast hostess was very attentive. All hotel staff were very friendly, professional and pleasant. I would give my stay a 4.5/5. For the price and location, I would definitely return.
