The property was just dirty dog poop everywhere room was half ass clean an the amenities where awful the pool was green was not expecting this for my birthday vacation never going back to this property I deserve a REFUND OR ANOTHER STAY AT A BETTER PLACE an even more sad I had my mom with me an her room was the same

Roaches in the bathroom When I arrived they had overbooked the king rooms and gave me the queen room next to the ice machine, vending machines and elevators. They did reluctantly relocate me On my last morning I went to use the laundry room which was supposed to open at 8 but was still locked at 8:30. I went to the desk and they said they'd be "right up". Twenty minutes later I was still waiting so I gave up.

This hotel was pretty average. I wouldn't say it is good, nor would I say it's bad. We stayed here for a few days while visiting Austin and since we did not spend much time in the room, it suited us well. It is outdated and our room smelled damp/musty (but the humidity was high, so it wasn't a huge deal. I wouldn't stay it was the cleanest, but it was okay. Blow dryer didn't work - not a big deal. The pool was ok. You need to have a key to get in it, which was nice to keep the few odd ducks out of it. The hot tub didn't seem to have its jets working, but for a quick dip and a cool off it was fine. Pros -good price -A/C worked well -The staff was friendly -Outdoor pool Cons -Outdated -Breakfast was a grab-and-go (which is ok) but it was the same granola bar and cookies every day -A few strange people around, but not to the point that I felt unsafe. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your hotel, this probably isn't for you. It is a good place to just lay your head for the night in between exploring the city.

I have to admit that I did not pay a lot to stay here, but the sidewalk and parking lot really needed to be repaved. It was very uneven and you had to watch where you were walking. There were some repairs needed in the room as well but were minor. The clerk upon check-in did not tell me when breakfast was. It ended at 9 which I find unusual for a weekend day. I heard the neighbors through the walls. They asked that we not put the cooler under 68 and the heater over 72. That was unusual. But for what I paid, it was sufficient.

Front office staff is stellar. Housekeeping are wonderful people. The hotel is run down and worn at the edges. The rooms are adequate, and the beds very comfortable. Most of the guests are humble, regular people, and friendly. Some guests were long-term. I did not partake of the grab-and-go breakfast. The parking lot was in poor shape. The very limited handicap parking was typically far from the room, with the asphalt so pitted and broken up, it was dangerous to walk on.

The room alrhough for most part was clean, there was only a very thin bedspread and sheet on bed. No blanket. The bedspreads were clean but stained. The ceiling fan was a great treat but the ceiling all around fan was dirty and dark. There was an ironinh board holder but no board or iron. There was no coffee pot. There was not a towel paper holder in bathroom and bathtub needed to be scrapped. No plug even if you wanted to tske a bath. The hot tub in pool ares was broken but pool seemed nice. Grounds were pretty and lobby and breakfast area very nice. Breakfast was typical but good. Chrckim and checkout handled welll Although price was reasonable and cloae to UT campus we would not stsy here again.

Rooms open to the outside and I could see gaps around the edges of the door. The first thing I noticed when I arrived in the room was the weird smell. I may have gone too cheaply on this one. Looks like it used to be nicer. The bathtub was chipped and there seemed to be a lot of soap residue but the shower was strong and the sink was outside the toilet room. The floor was sticky so we wore our shoes the whole time. This room had a refrigerator and a microwave, but we did not try them. We stayed 3 days because we had already paid. The smell lessened. Cleaners came on Friday. We were gone, but they left fresh towels and also turned off the light/fan combo we had going in the bathroom to dry out our previous towels.

At check-in the receptionist was trying to get me to pay their rate for the room instead of the rate i was given on Expedia, she continued to let me know that it didnt reflect on her side and she had no way of knowing any other information other than what she could see. The room was WAAY LESS than advertised , burns in the bedding, pillows were EXTREMELY lumpy, room smelled mildewy and damp. We had literally three towels, a face a hand and a bath. Tub looked DIRTY AND MOLDY, not properly cleaned. Walls in bathroom looked moldy. Light in bathroom flickered off and on ALL NIGHT LONG. Hairdryer had no plugin attached. No iron or ironing board in room, had to go to front desk to ask for one and after looking in different rooms finally came back with bare metal ironing board, no padding and no cover. Will not be staying at this facility again. Management needs to work on cleanliness and equipment of the rooms. NOT WORTH the money in any regard. Very disappointed.

I dont necessarily think it was dirty, but it was very run down. There were cigarette burns on the top bedcover; the tub was very chipped and slightly dirty. Lastly, the room had a smell that wouldn't leave even after spraying my perfume several times. It did ok for someone like me w low expectations, but could have done better.

Bathrooms are nasty I switched rooms because the toilet and bath tub and just settled for the bathroom in the second room and how dirty it looked due to just that or the modeling of the building .. shouldn’t charge a deposit rather we get it back or not .. and the hot water took forever to get hot!!!! Didn’t even go swimming or try breakfast based off how the property looked !!

The room was clean and felt safe. But there were no water glasses in the room, which was inconvenient, and the electrical plug at the desk was, first of all, hard to reach — I had to pull the desk away from the wall to get to it — and then, when I was able to plug in my laptop, the outlet didn't work. It also happened to be the outlet into which the microwave was plugged, but that wasn't a problem since I didn't need the microwave. But I was traveling for work in the first place and needed to use my laptop, so I had to drag the desk across the room to be able to reach a working outlet. My room did not face the highway, but traffic was still loud, as were other guests. But the room was clean and the staff was polite and I did not feel unsafe — major pluses.

For the price, it was fine. My mattress needed replaced and the hot water in the morning was a lil less than hot due to everybody using it in the morn. Other than that, location was great near food and restaurants. Also, easy access to the freeway

Convenient location, I-35 frontage is noisy. My bed was nice and clean. Room had vinyl flooring. Room just looks very tired... The room had a phone that did not have a dial tone. The room had a working refrigerator. The furniture doors would not stay shut. The fiberglass tub showed its age. The room needed a coat of fresh paint.

Tub had numerous chips and cracks, bathroom door needs sanding and painting. No door sweep under entry door; could put fingers through to outside. Outside area had chipped paint rusted stairs and rat traps all around. Area around it were seedy. Blow dryer didn’t work. Luggage rack rusted mirrors rusted around edges.

The woman at the front desk was very welcoming and kind upon checking in, my room wasn’t dirty, the wifi just wasn’t that good but overall the stay was good. There was a problem with noisy people, there was a couple arguing from 10-1am so I called the front desk and the person asked them to quiet down so I’m grateful for that as well.

Great experience overall! Outstanding staff, very welcoming, friendly, helpful, positive atmosphere. Examples like the front desk manager Mikayla who went the extra mile to accomodate the type of room I desired (location, view etc), and who also is running all the time thoroughly ensuring that everything is the best for everyone. The same with Jennifer, front desk is extremely busy juggling between incoming customers and servicing existing guests. Ethish is also very welcoming, thorough in helping, very friendly and positive. Akhil shows high professionalism, friendliness and caring as well. Diana (also front desk manager) confirms the same same qualities of this great team. Security is very active day and night, adding extra comfort to the numerous security cameras and the quiet area. The continental hot breakfast is of good quality. Fresh coffee is available 24/7. The rooms are very clean, the housekeeping and cleaning teams are also very helpful and polite (to exemplify with Rocio). Windham management inspects this location regularly. I strongly recommend this place for a great value stay!

Nice comfy. It's not fancy. The room sweats a lot and my shower has low pressure. There is no meat on that breakfast. However... great location, the bed lulled me to sleep...and the price was amazing. Oh....and the staff is very nice. I'd stay there again.

If you’re on a budget I would still recommend a different spot. Property is inconveniently located, the way the roads are situated it’s not walkable to many stores or restaurants. Freeway is a stones throw away, so there is lots of road noise. Unsavory characters roaming late at night arguing and talking loudly right outside the door. A/C worked fine, bed was way too soft for me. Microwave and fridge in the room worked well. Shower was not in good shape but worked. I would have given another star if not for the strong mold smell and lack of breakfast items (no fruit or proteins just waffles, juice and yogurt when I was there). Staff was friendly and attentive

It was an overall great stay with nice staff. It’s a good stay for a trip on a budget for sure. Thought the breakfast would have more options for people with dietary restrictions like me but it wasn’t that big of a thing for me since I was on vacation anyway lol. The area where it’s at is a bit sketchy l, not gonna lie, but the rooms itself have top notch cleanliness.

Disappointed to have stayed in this town, the room reeked of cigarettes and there was nowhere to stand when leaving to bathe, breakfast was disgusting. Cookies in a bag, artificial fruit and the size of the diminutive coffee. awful
