Quaint property. Delightful person checked me in. Room nicely decorated. Restaurant next door. Disappointing after a long day of hiking that hot tub was cold and no sign that said it was not working. Bathtub plug did not hold water. Keurig dirty.

Nice hotel. Easy check in process. Plenty of parking. The outdoor hot tub was not very warm. We had a deluxe room which was nicely furnished. The small desk was perfect for my laptop, and the table worked well for our snacks. The sofa was comfortable. Bathroom and bedding were great. Perfect location close to the park. Did not try the restaurant next door, but nice to have a dining option so close by.

We loved staying at Westgate Lodge. It was quiet and relaxing especially after having visited the busy park. We loved the location, pool, hot tub, corn hole, picnic tables,and the restaurant next door. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

There are 2 restaurants near by, they were ok, but not worth the price. We made use of the refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave to save on food prices. We were disappointed the hot tub was out of service. Are room was kept clean and office staff was very nice. Very convenient location to Yosemite park. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Yosemite Westgate Lodge. The location is excellent, just outside the Big Oak Flat entrance, making it super convenient for exploring the park. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed after long days in Yosemite. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus, and the nearby restaurant made meals easy. Very nice and quiet accommodation with a beautiful outdoor area. Children's playground, pool, hot tub and seating. Next door there is a restaurant/bar with souvenir store. The dinner and breakfast were very good, would come back anytime. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.

DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER COME BACK! DIRTY! DIRTY! And mean front desk. The room looked nice when we checked in. BUT when I went to use the restroom I found some hair on the bath tab and some weird stains on the toilet. I decided to check the room more though and oh my…. I found long dark hair and eye lash hairs on one of the pillow cases, a stain on the bed cover. The floor had some sticky stains, I tried to wipe them with a wet wipe that’s when I saw how dirty the floor really was (see the photos) There was a dead fly and a lot of dust in the corner btw the fridge and the wall. Dust and some other stuff under the AC and the night stand. And the AC was SOOO DUSTY inside we didn’t even use it. When I went to let the front lady know about everything she seemed irritated and was pretty mean but said that would send someone to clean the room. Guess what whoever came only changed the bed sheet and that was ALL! This experience ruined the whole night! THE PRICE AND THE QUALITY DON’T MATCH. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER COME BACK!

Considering most of the properties are very old near Yosemite, the overall property is not bad, however being in an area where your cell phones don’t work really well it would be absolutely paramount to have great Wi-Fi, which is not the case. Also, after a long day, hiking and walking throughout Yosemite, and looking to lie down on a comfortable bed, I can tell you these are not it.

This was a delightful lodge. Felt safe, clean and friendly. Our only issue was the fact that there was no wifi, and no cell service. It was quite frustrating! But, the local restaurant food was delicious!

Great hotel! Clean, comfortable and some very pleasant amenities. Only complaint is comfort of the beds. Very small, on the hard side and the way the sheets are on them is odd and uncomfortable. Otherwise this is a fabulous place to stay alone or with the family. It has everything you want/need at a hotel and in your room.

It was very noisy. The lodge has no sound barriers. Couldn’t sleep when someone checked in upstairs late and we could hear every sound until 1:00 AM. Also, staff weren’t very friendly.

The room was on the very top floor, and we had booked a room with a sofa. Unfortunately, the sofa was broken, so our cousin had to sleep in the bed with my husband. The cooling system was extremely loud—it was impossible to sleep with it on. Even when set to the lowest setting, the fan blew very strongly and noisily. The bathroom was very dirty, and there were bugs crawling in the shower. Someone’s dirty hair was left in the bathtub.

After driving 6 hours to arrive to your hotel and NOT be welcomed with a friendly and professional front desk person was a total disappointment. The woman named Pamela was not only very rude and didn't know what she was doing with my room reservation that I made in May.

Overall, it was fine, but I was disappointed to see that the coffee machine was covered in dust and only the visible areas seemed clean. What was most frustrating, however, was that the front desk did not answer the phone at all. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced a hotel that doesn’t pick up calls. Other than that, everything was acceptable.

Considering there is not much around this area for lodging, the place was more than adequate for one night. It is about 30 miles from Yosemite village so if you don't want to drive back and forth, you may want to pay more and stay in the village.

Good option for Yosemite visitors if you can’t stay in the park. It clean and renovated and quite spacious. It’s 20 minutes drive to the park entrance but we didn’t realize that it’s another 40 minutes drive into the main area of the park.

The lodge was very clean with what looked like updated rooms. The laminate floors were very nice and the bed excellent. Very convenient for visiting Yosemite. However, the drive is much longer than the website suggests. It is nearly 45 minutes to the the valley floor, even though the park entrance is about 15 minutes.

The Yosemite Westgate Lodge was a great place to stay, close to the Yosemite entrance on Highway 120. We loved having the Buck Meadows restaurant right there, to get food before heading out each morning. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it!

We chose this property because it was only 15-20 to the Yosemite Big Oak Flat entrance. Lodging deeper in the park was extremely expensive. This lodge was clean, cute, had everything we needed and very affordable. There was ample parking and they have a pool and hot tub. There is a restaurant next door that is open breakfast to dinner. Easy checkout. The only thing that I did not like (but this is common practice in NV/CA so it's not unique to this lodge) is that they actually charge the deposit on your card but reverse it later which takes a few days to reach your account.

Property was clean and fairly comfortable but a/c was not on during the hot day we arrived, even after a late arrival it was stiflingly hot and stuffy in the room, took a long time to cool down. Manager was unconcerned. Beds were fine and amenities were nice. No breakfast, few options nearby - closest restaurant very expensive.

Helpful staff and perfect trip for going to Yosemite. Clean and nice rooms. Free parking. Approx 1 hour to Yosemite village. The diner next by feels authentic and we ate dinner both days at the diner. Please note opening hours for winter season. Great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room and possibility to do laundry. Coffee machine in the rooms where you get two cups of coffee a day.
