Second time we stay in this hotel. We love the area, as it is right next to a shopping centre with restaurants and a big cinema. Very easy to get to the city centre by bus or tram. Parking in an underground garage was easy to get to and accessible from the hotel via the elevator.

Schon die Anmeldung an der Rezeption war nicht wirklich gut. Etwas chaotisch, nur eine Person und eine längere Schlange an Wartenden. Die nächste Enttäuschung war eine nicht funktionierende Zimmerkarte. Also wieder mit dem ganzen Gepäck zurück zur Rezeption (ist mir am 2. Abend noch einmal passiert). Am zweiten Abend war dann ein sehr schmutziger Putzlappen im Badezimmer (hat offensichtlich die Zimmerreinigung vergessen) die negative Überraschung. Auch das Frühstück ist für € 20,- keine Offenbarung. Alles billige Lebensmittel, Fertigprodukte und staubtrockene Müslis und zu allem Überfluss ungedeckte Tische, die an eine Kantine erinnern, nur positiv beeinflusst durch die wirklich tolle Aussicht auf Wien. Zu allem Überdruss kam dann noch die Parkgarage, die für zwei Tage, die bereits an der Rezeption bezahlt wurden (€ 22,- pro Tag), bei der Ausfahrt am Schranken noch einmal einen Restbetrag von € 27,- verlangt hat. Holiday Inn Vienna-South, danke, ich komme nicht wieder!

Excelente! Moderno e aconchegante. Ótimas instalações. Quartos confortáveis. O café da manhã no 22* andar é top! Hotel faz parte de um complexo com supermercado, lanchonete, restaurantes e lojas. Estacionamento -terceirizado- é caro (paguei 40 euros/dia). Transporte público na porta (não usei). Ótima relação custo/benefício. Valeu a pena ficar longe do centro!

Für den Preis ist das Hotel in Ordnung. Zimmer sind super. Personal ist sehr nett. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind auch vor der Haustüre. Was ich unverschämt finde ist der Preis des Parkauses. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr sehr lieblos angerichtet und eine schlechte Auswahl, teilweise Speck und Eier nicht ganz durch. Der Preis über 22€ ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Wer also Wert auf gutes Frühstück liegt, sollte fürs Hotel lieber etwas mehr ausgeben.

The staff at Reception and at Breakfast were amazing. Friendly, accommodating and attentive. Plenty of food and good variety. The only down for me was the lift system. If you are in a hurry to reach the bathroom, you'd be in trouble. Specially as there is no toilets on the 22nd floor where the breakfast area is.

Die Sauberkeit lässt stark zu wünschen übrig! Beim Bezug des Zimmer lagen abgeschnittene Fußnägel am Boden (sehr eklig)!! Selbst nach mehrmaligen Aufforderungen, wurde das Zimmer nicht ordentlich gereinigt, keine Betten gemacht, Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgereicht und auch die verbrauchten Kaffeetüten wurden nicht nachgefüllt! Darf nicht vorkommen!

In einem Hotel dieser Kategorie darf es einfach nicht vorkommen das der Duschgelspender leer (kein einziger Tropfen) ist. Weiterhin sollte ab und an überprüft werden ob das Wasser in der Dusche vernünftig abläuft, denn das kam erschwerend hinzu, nicht gerade hygienisch. Der Grund warum ich schreibe ist ganz einfach der, da beim Check out nicht mal die obligatorische Frage gestellt wurde "ob alles in Ordnung sei". In diesem Fall hätte ich das gegenüber dem Personal erwähnt und alles wäre gut gewesen.

Så lækkert et hotel! Dejligt værelse på 18.etage. Vi havde ønsket et værelse højt oppe med byudsigt og det fik vi, tak! + Det giver altid lige lidt ekstra til oplevelsen, når der er kaffe/the faciliteter på værelset, fedt. Eneste mangel var et lille køleskab til kolde drikkevarer, men bortset fra det var alt perfekt. Virkelig gode senge, nyt, rent og pænt overalt. Venligt personale. Morgenmaden var super lækker og kunne nydes på 22.etage med fantastisk udsigt, den ene dag ud af 4 hvor der ikke var tæt tåge.

Wir haben am 1. Tagv an derv Rezeption mitgeteilt, dass am Boden reste von unseren Vormietern waren. ( man hat im Zimmer Fußnägel geschnitten ) ich habe 3 mal vesucht mitzuteilen, dass man das entfernen soll. Wurde nicht gemacht, der Teppich wurde auch nicht gesaugt, der Duschteppich wurde vergessen, und hinter dem Vorhang lagen auch Sachen von den Vormietern. Aber ich fand den Spruch gut wir stehen auf Sauberkeit - ja genau das habe ich gesehen. Und der Lift war auch sehr laut. MFG Ribitsch Andrea

Stayed for 5 nights, room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was reasonably sizeable for a double room. Beds were comfortable. Due to the location being on the outskirts of Vienna there wasn't much to do of an evening so we tried to connect our phone to watch a movie but it wouldnt connect properly. Checked with the front desk and was told it would only work with laptops. Tea and coffee facilities are provided but the coffee was not great so we bought some Nescafé. Breakfast was really good with cooked options, didn't try the restaurant in the evening as the menu was a bit limited.

Incheck liep zeer chaotisch. Duurde 50 minuten voordat we eindelijk konden inchecken. Schoonmaak van de kamer was niet goed. Alleen 1 prullenbak leeggemaakt en schone handdoeken. Geen opmaak bed, schoonmaken van de wasbak werd niet gedaan en prullenbak badkamer bleef vol. Ontbijt was prima.

The room wasn't 4 stars hotel. We didn't have a mini bar fridge, no seif, no bathrobe, the cleaner didn't clean, didn't bring new coffee. I paid with expedia city tax and they asked me again to pay at reception even if I showed them the receipts.

Schade, dass man keine Minibar hatte und keine Möglichkeit hatte, wenigstens ein kleines Fenster zu kippen. Schiebetür war defekt und zu kleine Schlafcouch, nicht ausziehbar. Personal hat sich sehr schnell gekümmert und wir haben neues Zimmer erhalten mit ausziehbaren Schlafsofa.. Im neuen zimmer Probleme mit der Dusche, aber Techniker hat schnell das Problem gelöst.

This was not my first time staying at this hotel, so my disappointment is even greater. Unfortunately, I will not be returning unless they address the issue. The room was WAY too hot, and there was no way to open the windows or lower the temperature. It was a constant 22.3 degrees, which is far too warm for me, especially at night. I followed all the hotel’s instructions on adjusting the heat, but nothing worked. This made sleeping uncomfortable and significantly affected my stay. I hope the hotel takes guest comfort seriously and implements a solution for better temperature control in the future.

Well, first hotel ever where it is not possible to cool down. It was so hot in the room but as there are no windows, no air condition (only additional heating) it was far too hot to sleep. Hotel answer: this is by design, lot of people complain. As for me sleep is most important, not again..

Was in Vienna for business and arrived on the early flight to make the most of hotels.com platinum ‘benefits’ and check in early. Messaged the hotel through hotels.com a week earlier to say I’d be there at 1100am. When I arrived I was told there were no rooms available until 3pm. I was told they do not receive the messages from hotels.com and there was nothing they could do, I could have a dirty room or wait 4 hours for a room. I decided to go for a walk around the shopping centre for 30 mins. When I returned there was a different person on reception so I decided to try again, saying I’d got up at 2am and really needed to sleep. A much warmer receptionist tapped a few buttons and lie and behold a room was available! A poor initial check in and first impression of the hotel. Also left with the feeling that being a platinum member of hotels.com doesn’t really mean anything to them.

Great hospitality from all members of staff. English speaking so mever had issues with the language barrier. Breakfast was quite nice and well supplied with an amazing view of the city. Rooms were very clean and comfy beds. Highly recommended and would gladly stay again!

Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen, wir hatten einen Wunsch geäußert, dieser wurde berücksichtigt (Verbindungstür, zwei Zimmer). Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer täglich gereinigt, wenn auch zum Teil sehr spät, wenn wir bereits wieder zurück waren. Das Hotelfrühstück ist standardmäßig, erschien mir etwas lieblos, das Servicepersonal zwar höflich, aber nicht gastfreundlich, wie wir es üblicherweise gewohnt sind. Anders die Rezeption, diese war überaus gastfreundlich, zuvorkommend und immer hilfsbereit. Die Lage war für uns optimal, wir benötigten, egal wohin, immer ca. 30 Minuten. Die Infrastruktur in Wien sucht seinesgleichen, als Deutscher ist man das nicht gewohnt. Taxi & Co. völlig überflüssig, alle paar Minuten kommt zuverlässig ein Bus, Straßen- oder U-Bahn. Ein Einkaufszentrum direkt am Hotel für das Nötigste sowie ein Kino(!) und diverse Lokalitäten runden den Aufenthalt ab. Besser geht nicht. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen und übernachten. Einziges Manko: das Parken. Im Hotel selbst für längere Aufenthalte unbezahlbar. Ein Parkplatz 10 Gehminuten (oder ca. 5 Busminuten) entfernt ist empfehlenswert.

Sehr nettes Personal. Liegt etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt, aber es gibt eine gute Verbindung mit Bus und U-Bahn. Die Bushaltestellen sind genau vor dem Hotel. Direkt neben dem Hotel gibt es eine Einkaufspassage, in der man auch die Tickets für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel erwerben kann. Außerhalb gibt in unmittelbarer Umgebung des Hotels gute Restaurants.

Second time we stay in this hotel. We love the area, as it is right next to a shopping centre with restaurants and a big cinema. Very easy to get to the city centre by bus or tram. Parking in an underground garage was easy to get to and accessible from the hotel via the elevator.

The area, even tho is not in the center of town, it’s well located with easy access to all kind of transportation to the town center. I actually prefer it like that better than being located in the busy town center. And tons of restaurants and shopping/groceries around. The hotel it self feels brand new.

Bien comunicado. El bus A15 para en el mismo hotel y te lleva a la línea 1 de metro (con parada en la catedral y otros puntos de interés turísticos). Esta línea te deja en 3 paradas a la estación de tren central, desde donde cogimos tren a Bratislava.

The staff are very helpful. The hotel is clean. They do a good breakfast. It would be good if the rooms had a safe and a fridge. My shower did leak water, because of a gap between the shower door and glass panel. The hotel is far from the City centre. A bus stop is right outside the hotel. There isnt much by way of restaurants in the local area. Overall i enjoyed my stay here.

It’s in the south of the city, but easy access to public transportation. There is a shopping mall connected to the hotel with a grocery store, restaurants, food court, and even an Aldi. Very good location and service for the price. Breakfast is wonderful with many choices.

Dejligt hotel. Fik først et værelse hvor sengen var mer eller mindre kollapset, men vi fik uden problemer et nyt værelse højere oppe med udsigt. Og morgenmad på øverste etage med den fantastiske udsigt er helt unikt.

Für den Preis ist das Hotel in Ordnung. Zimmer sind super. Personal ist sehr nett. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind auch vor der Haustüre. Was ich unverschämt finde ist der Preis des Parkauses. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr sehr lieblos angerichtet und eine schlechte Auswahl, teilweise Speck und Eier nicht ganz durch. Der Preis über 22€ ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Wer also Wert auf gutes Frühstück liegt, sollte fürs Hotel lieber etwas mehr ausgeben.

had a very pleasant stay at Clarion Hotel Vienna South. Everything was great from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
