Very cute historic hotel built in 1879, complete with all the creaky floors, wavy window glass, wooden veranda/porch, antique furniture, amazing views, etc that only these grand hotels can provide. I LOVED sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch looking toward the mountains. The elevator, also original, was a tad "creepy" (in a joking way) but very interesting to ride on too. The beds were just a little too soft for me but were still comfortable enough to get a decent nights sleep. The shower pressure was quite good. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and bar were all super friendly and informative. I would absolutely stay here again.

The old hotel was comfortable and quiet. But before you go in off season check about their restaurants being open . We didn't check since the information said restaurant and nothing was open.

The whole hotel had a unique old charm to it. The ambience was nice. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we had many flies and ladybugs in our bathroom on the window inside which was an ongoing issue. The rest of our day was very enjoyable.
