The stay was great, the extra fees after checkout not so much. There is a $30 per day destination fee in place and if you need to park, find somewhere else because they only offer valet and it’s $65 per day! Yikes!

Terrible condition of our room. There was not floor coverage. On the cement they just put a small carpet, was afraid to move with bare feet. Parking $65 per night No pool. No vending, arcade mashines. Absolutely nothings to do. Boring.

Interesting, but not what I would call "luxury". My room smelled like smoke but was clean and comfortable. Main compliant - horrible fitness center, a dungeon.

Plenty of shops nearby and places to shop/eat. Not as close to the Warner theater as hoped for walking experience but we made it an adventure after our phones died. Eventually made it back to the hotel but that wasn't their fault. *Pros* -Valet parking-a little confusing but nice to know vehicle was safe -Close to a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops -Was given Champagne upon arrival and was given a bar discount for $15 -Room service provided meals, and laundry ticket and bag for drop off. -Beds came with USB and outlets for electronics -We had a lovely view of the street below, activity, and a section of the sunset. -Pet friendly but not overly expensive. -TV was large. *Cons* -Room was small but we stayed out of convenience, so doable but would choose larger room if staying longer than one night. -Floor was smoothed raw concrete with a large rug to cover most of floor but was still visible and a little surprising to me, being on the fancier side. -A little confusing as to where check-in was and how the elevator worked. For people who don't stay in fancy hotels often, we weren't aware you have to swipe the key card to make the elevator move. -Shower was nice but handle was tough to turn at first. Water gets on floor more because of spray and only half glass wall.

I personally thought my stay was ok. Nothing horrible nothing great just ok, i was very excited to use the pool that I saw advertised online for the hotel just for the pool not to be there at all. I couldn’t help but feel disappointed, I didn’t think it was worth the price and feel like it’s just an aesthetic hotel.

Recent renovation, trendy music theming throughout. Service was extremely friendly but obvious that this was formerly a motel in the very small rooms sizes (I was upgraded and still felt constrained by sub-400 sq ft estimated room size). The design decision to install open door, no tub standing showers lead to feeling of bathroom flooding anytime the shower was used. The guests frequently complained about the buggy elevator key pad requiring us to hold down key card for 3 full second before recognizing. The still and sparkling water taps on each floor was a welcomed amenity.

The cleanliness of this hotel was questionable...not impressed! We actually ended up switching room because the shower and bathroom floor was downright dirty. The staff was fantastic!! The bed was comfortable! Location was quiet but was a little further from sights than i wanted to be (my own fault lol).There were a couple of good restaurants close by.

The bed didn't have a blanket, it took multiple requests to get one brought up, even then it was just a duvet insert and not an actual blanket. This is a big deal. I never though I would have to check ahead of time to see if a hotel had basic bedding. I called the front desk a couple times and no one answered, I had to go down in order to speak with anyone. The floor was concrete, this might not bother you but I found it off-putting and uncomfortable and cold. If the room had slippers it might have been ok, but it did not. I asked the front desk if they had some, they said yes, but they never arrived to my room. The other problem was when I found a giant cockroach walking across the floor in the middle of the night. They offered to move us to another room, but at 1 am who wants to move rooms? They comped our valet parking for this. Say what you want about bugs, but I have an expectation that if I am staying at a nice hotel my room will be clean and free of bugs. We had to check all of our luggage and shopping bags to make sure we weren't bringing anything home. If you've ever dealt with infestations, you understand how stressful and expensive they are.

There was a used condom in my room from the guests before me, nothing was done to correct the disgusting issue other than moving me to a slightly bigger room (as if more space would make me feel better about the lack of cleanliness). I would attach video if I could, not a great experience at all, wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I recently stayed at Yours Truly Hotel, and while the location and vibe were lovely, several issues during our visit detracted from the experience. Overall good quality bed and room. Restaurant downstairs was great. Giving a 4 star for two reasons: - very little sound insulation going into the halls and the doors slam so people entering or leaving theirs rooms makes a lot of noise - the shower only has a small sheet of glass so it gets water everywhere

A hotel should be able to give rest, you shouldn’t be hearing the neighbors. Paper thin walls and we didn’t get any rest whatsoever, even with the earplugs front staff gave us.

I like the property and the room is uniquely designed as expected in a boutique hotel. The bed was very comfortable compared to most standard hotel beds. The layout of the room was interesting, but I missed having a closet and drawers, they provide clothes racks. Also, there were not enough USB outlets for two people. The most inconvenient for us was the lack of towel racks, there were none in the bathroom, just a hook on the wall, which was unbelievable.

Bathroom is terrible. No exhaust fan and no proper shower door. In addition, the bathroom door is a barn style door so you can peak in and see anyone that’s showering. So odd.

Went to stay for a weekend getaway with my wife. We drove 3 hours to then pull into valet parking only to find out that the hotel had a power outage and that nobody was allowed to stay at the hotel. Went to stay for a weekend getaway with my wife. We drove 3 hours to then pull into valet parking only to find out that the hotel had a power outage and that nobody was allowed to stay at the hotel. At 505 pm while on my way to the property, this hotel canceled my reservation on me and told me there was nothing they could do to help assist me. This forced me to make a last minute more expensive reservation elsewhere. Very unprofessional

At check out the front desk staff insisted the balance owed eas the full amount not taking into account the amount paid at check-in. After much back and forth it they realized they were over charging us. The staff was rude and made us feel very unwelcomed.

It was nice. We had an issue with a light not working in the room and the valet parking staff did not service us well. The manager addressed both issues before we left and did some great things to try to fix the issues that we experienced during our stay.

My mom and I stayed for a weekend and couldn’t have asked for better. The neighborhood is beautiful, walkable and has easy access to nice areas like georgetown and dupont circle. There’s a variety of really good dining places nearby. Rooms are spacious, facilities clean, and I liked the style/vibe of the hotel. The lounge is also great to relax with a cup of coffee or drinks. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!

I stayed here to visit my son at GWU. The area is in between Georgetown, Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom so it is easy to get around without a need for a car. I loved the interior and the friendly service!

Great location. Plenty of walkable food options. Walgreens and CVS are steps away and easy for quick/inexpensive snacks and travel items you may have forgotten. Every employee that we spoke to was lovely…. and the property is well maintained and up to date as of Aug 2024. The vibe at night was pretty young, vibrant and lively with the restaurant/bar at the entrance ….but I also saw lots of families there too ….so something really for every kind of traveler. Would definitely recommend.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. It’s ideally located near major tourist landmarks, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Rideshare access was quick and reliable, and I always felt safe walking in the area. There were plenty of food options within easy walking distance, which made dining out simple and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

All went very well. Drinks at bar were very over-priced however for a lot of fruit juice and ice. Was not what I expected. I also was charged $13 for my son to have a fruit juice as well while we were sitting together. I didn’t like having to ask for my breakfast voucher in the morning either. Would have preferred for it to have been offered to me another way. Housekeeping and room service was convenient and helpful. Coffee I’d advise to be stronger and more flavorful. Otherwise I appreciated the friendliness and helpful staff and updated hotel. Well taken care of. Thank you.

Overall a good hotel. However, the room was noisy and for a 4.5 star hotel I found finishing in the bathroom was not neat. Personnel was very friendly. Unfortunate the VIP-acces hotel credit was only useable in the hotel restaurant and not in the coffee shop in the lobby.

I was happily surprised by this hotel with its cool vibe. Great service started with early access to my room. I enjoyed the bar, lobby ambiance, and live music. The room was well equipped, and the free water was very welcomed. I would stay again and hope to see more Yours Truly's in other cities.

I enjoyed the decor and comfort of my room. The ambiance and amenities were a plus. I also enjoyed sitting in the lobby/lounge. Breakfast was not the greatest. I chose to eat at Not your mother’s bagel which was adjacent to the hotel. The location was nice. Sat across the street at the park. Walked down the block to District Taco. A lot of different restaurants for all to enjoy. I have already reserved my next trip!

Front desk Naz was very helpful and very courteous. My package include VIP amenities but no such amenities. We were given a $20 voucher but only good for drinks and not food, so the voucher was useless since I don't drink. It would have useful for breakfast buffet, but they won't honor it.

Great hotel and neighborhood! Second time I stay. Ample rooms and neat coffee shop. Bar closes early on weekdays but I presume later on weekends? Loved the sparkling water on tap on the floors instead of bottled water. Pick up is iffy simply because it’s sort of on a 3 way street but no biggie. Would stay again a recommend.

Visited DC for business and stayedv3 nights. There was loud music Saturday night and Sunday from a business in the area for a few hours but otherwise, a comfortable and convenient place to stay. MercyMe provided a decent selection of in room dining options. Call your Mother had great coffee and food selections just off the lobby area. Several restaurants including a completely Vegan restaurant across the street called Planta! Everything was very walkable or Uber/lyft accessible. Staff were very friendly, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you!

It was such a nice stay, we did one night and slept very comfortably and the room was beautiful. So was the hotel. It was right in the middle of the city so you could walk to any restaurant you wanted to try. restaurant downstairs and you get a credit at the bar!

Amazing location in Georgetown. Great lobby bar. Only thing I didn’t like about our room was it was a connected room so you can occasionally hear people but other than that it was lovely stay and would absolutely come back.

I really liked this hotel but it was like pulling teeth to get housekeeping to my room. I had to go to the front desk and ask everyday. I don’t know if it’s because I had a corner room or what. The front desk staff was lovely but I shouldn’t have to ask for my room to be cleaned and beg for clean towels. Beautiful property otherwise.
