Greatest amenity is that you are right in the middle of the historic district. Waking up there is wonderful despite early mowing and leaf blowing (so that it’s not done during open hours to preserve historic experience). Being able to park there.

I love staying in the Colonial Houses every year. Just one quibble with my lovely Market Tavern upstairs room. The door opens onto the first step. You climb up a couple of steps to be able to turn around and close the door behind you. And you have to lean WAY OVER to reach the handle, and the deadbolt is inside the handle. Really very awkward. Maybe they should move up the handle.
