This place is located in downtown Goleta. Walking distance to various parks and restaurants. One way in and out of property. The light to get out was really long wait time. Staffs were nice and professional. Lobby was clean and can be busy. A lot of people stayed here. Free breakfast and variety of menu for each day. Always a staff around to clean messes and refill food. Room was average. Pool was good. Jacuzzi looked dirty and murky. Towels to use in pool area. Restrooms convenient near lobby. We enjoyed our two-night stay here. The hallway fan provided white noise, which helped minimize any outside or hallway sounds. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked, and the bed was comfortable. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and this one is at the lower end. It is not well-maintained. The Peloton bike doesn't work. The lotion bottle in my room was empty. They really need a management upgrade.

This Hampton very much met my expectations for a Hampton Inn. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The pool and spa area were lovely. There was only one elevator for the building shared for guests and service crews, which made the wait for an elevator a little longer and some folks got super impatient. Not a huge deal for us, but something to consider. Like most Hamptons, there was a small snack/concessions shop that had basic snacks and personal essentials. The breakfast was well-appointed and tasty. The lounge area was clean and comfortable.

We always stay at Hampton Inn hotels whenever we travel. This was no exception. Great quiet location, clean as all other Hampton Inn's. Only part of the stay I didn't enjoy was we returned to the hotel after dinner, only to find half of the parking lot was sealed off, because they were going to re-pave the next morning. All of the guests were driving around the parking lot back and forth with nowhere to park. They should have posted signs or informed the guests in the morning so they woudn't be shocked on their return in the evening.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The amenities, including laundry, pool, gym, and the impressive continental breakfast, surprised me. My family felt safe in this space, and the rooms were spotless. The area was close to shopping and food. We walked to a place called Noodle City, which was terrific. A good amount of security is available.

Exterior looks great but the rooms are very dated inside. Upon arrival, noticed the towels were all stained. The bedding top covers too. The fan in the AC unit would not turn off even though the thermostat was turned off. We were told all the rooms on the top floor were taken even thought we checked in early. Late at nite once we were in bed, we could hear so much stomping and ruckus from above. We could barely sleep, including my small children. The breakfast was just ok. The yogurts were not cold and the oatmeal looked like water. The staff tending to the area was so harsh when I asked a question. Overall not a great stay.

This hotel is the quality of a one star motel. Everything was crusty, stained towels, stained furniture, uneven grout around the tiles, rusty mirror, the list goes on. For the price we paid and the reputation of a Hilton, this was a major disappointment.

Aside from the fact that like every hotel in the greater Santa Barbara area this one is grossly overpriced, the stay was excellent--the room was clean and well sized. The staff were great; they were professional, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast was enjoyable and the coffee good. The location is 5 minutes away from UCSB and 15 minutes from lower State St. And, there was adequate parking (can't say that about every hotel in the area). Aside from the the fact that everywhere else (except Manhattan) you'd probably pay at lease half as much for the same room, I have no complaints and had an excellent stay.

Overall the room was fine, I was only in town for the night and just needed a bed. Having a bathtub was nice but it was a little small. The breakfast was pretty good. I don’t know why but there was this weird low hum, like how the air has a low hum when a helicopter or street sweeper goes by, but constant. It wasn’t very loud, just loud enough to be noticeable, especially in the middle of the night. Maybe because of close proximity to the airport? Everything else was fine.

It’s worth it to pay a little extra for the suite. Wrap around bedroom windows, very spacious! Disappinting they don’t offer daily housekeeping; by the 2nd day there are an abundance of dirty towels and overflowing trash!

Staff was great, room was nice and clean but could use updating. Main complaint was not with the hotel itself, but with guests and children. We had at least one toddler (hard to tell after a certain point) that was allowed to RUN & Stomp for hours. This went on late 10/11PM and started up again 7AM. Kept believing it would end. Went to the other Hilton to enjoy the rooftop Bar & same thing; toddlers running all around, between tables, squealing. I’m not against children, I have them, it’s the disbelief of any parental oversight or discipline; lack of even basic manners on both sides & consideration of others in public spaces It’s extremely disrespectful to others. It’s not like they were on an airplane; there were options besides letting them run amok.

2nd time here for us staying here. My only minor issue was that the bathroom vents didn't work thus everything getting foggy when taking hot showers and that the supplied usb ports didn't work at all to charge my gadgets. I mention this issue at check out with the front desk telling me that they don't know about power chord issues. Over all, we were still satisfy with how comfortable, the amenities, and value.

The room they assigned to me is not the room i reserved. I was shocked when i found out that i was given a handicap room. Room doesn't have a bathtub , instead it's a shower with the same level as the bathroom floor. Water flows all over the bathroom when you shower because of poor drainage. Totally unsafe because it's slippery.I complained and asked the staff if they could move me to another room. They said "NO" because i booked the room through a third party. They told me i should have book from the Hampton inn website instead of Hotels.com. this will be my last one for sure making reservation on this hotel. I would also share my experience with all my colleagues.

We checked in at 10:30pm due to a long drive. One person at counter was leaving, and I wasn't helped until they both had a conversation not about my reservation. Person who finally helped me was very slow, did not explain about the additional $50 charge until she had to ask me for my credit card. Upon entering one of our two rooms, the beds were not made nor room cleaned. It looked like there was someone else staying in the room. When we went downstairs to report this, the person at the counter was very rude. She also gave us wrong directions to a new room she had to process. Very unhappy with the service at this hotel.

When I booked through Expedia, total payments included tax & fee but when I checked in the hotel, they charged me another $62 for tax & fee, which in total, I paid $151,16 for these fees, it is unreasonable plus the room charge for this kind of Inn is overpriced. The staff also repeatedly saying that I thought the 3rd party they make less profit. Seems like this was my fault to book with Expedia

When we arrived the hotel informed us that they had overbooked their suites, and we were downgraded to a standard double queen room, with no guarantee of a rate adjustment since we booked through a third-party. Our room ended up being right outside of the pool, and it was very noisy. The free breakfast, parking and wifi were the best part of our stay. The room and bathroom could have been cleaner. There was an undergarment left on the floor by a previous guest, carpet appeared dirty and their were hairs on the bathroom walls. There were visible stains on the curtains in our room. Their was no way to smart cast to the TV.

Check in time is 3 PM. When I got to the hotel, they informed me that my room would not be ready because they were sold out and had no other rooms to give me so I waited in the lobby for two hours while I did some laundry with their pay machines that were an absolute nightmare to work out Later on around 9 o’clock there was raging parties above me. I couldn’t hear myself think I complain. Several times the front desk told me there was nothing they could do??? I had to go up to the second floor, myself and scream please turn down your music , finally around 1030 things quieted down. I asked the front desk person to have the manager reach out to me regarding these issues and I never heard back I called plane to hotels.com. I wanted my points back that I used for that evening never heard back yet, but I’m expecting to , I never normally complain about much but the attitude the front desk was very dismissive and rude and condescending not OK

Upon arrival we were informed that the hotel was overbooked and that our king bed room was not available, instead we were put into a two queen room which resulted in my husband and I sleeping in separate beds (they weren’t comfy). On our second night our room phone rang three times at 11pm and again at 415 AM (I picked up but no one was there). I unplugged the phone but was very unsettled by the whole experience. I informed the front desk at our checkout. While the hotel was nice, we most likely won’t return due to neighbor noise, phone issues, room being oversold, and uncomfortable beds.

We didn’t get to experience it. We tried to cancel due to our child’s sporting event being canceled and car troubles. We understand non-refundable but in this case an exception would have been nice. No refund was given. Even partial would have been nice. Tried resolving days before check in. Even tried changing date but no effort given for customer service. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Do better. All rooms should be non-refundable. Stuff happens that’s out of our control.

Check-in was easy and smooth. The lady who helped me was very polite and nice. We didn't use any of the gym, pool, or other amenities but we were fine in our room and my dog was happy. The Doggie bags and trash bins outside the building were nice. A few homeless people yelling spooked me and the dog while we were out. The sliding door for the bathroom/closet was not secured so my husband smashed his finger while closing the door. The stopper on the rail needs to be moved so it won't slide too much to smash the finger. Other than that we enjoyed the stay. Thank you.

This was a work stay - but I would totally bring my family. The location is 5 mins from airport - so easy! My flight was delayed a few hours and finally got arrived late evening. Checking in was pleasant and efficient. I appreciated the coffee and hot water station in the lobby and grabbed a cup of tea to take to my room. The breakfast was good- hot and cold options. The location is in the older part of town, within a 5-10 minute walk I could grab bbq, sushi, Thai, burgers and choose from numerous taquerias and Mexican food places. There’s also a 7-11, and two ethnic markets if you wanted to grab a snack or beverage, the hotel also has snacks for sale too. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub but it looked nice. The room was nice, and bed comfortable. Like most hotels you can hear louder people in hallway which can be annoying late into night but that’s not really the hotels fault. The hotel is not fancy but it was comfortable, accommodating and had everything I needed and the staff was really pleasant. Would stay again.

It’s so easy and comfortable to stay at the HI! Our only critique would be their weird egg dishes at the otherwise decent complimentary Breakfast Bar. We asked them how they are prepared, because they taste more like sponges soaked in Mr.Clean. They said the eggs arrive in pre-cooked, frozen packages with all kinds of strange preservatives in them. They just reheat them to serve. Scary! Beware of the eggs!
