While the staff and service as well as the gym facilities were great, $70 for overnight parking and $1300 for a room with faulty air conditioning and a bathroom door that wouldn't close was way, way, too much. They should have at least comped the parking fee...Very disappointing.

Property and staff are incredible but the hvac in this particular room was not working properly. Despite having maintenance come to our room to address the problem, it did not work and we did not sleep at all as the room was stifling hot.

Lovely hotel in an amazing location. The room was spacious with a great layout. Hallways are lovely. Room service options are great. The only downside was the darkness of the room as it faced an alley and a brick wall. No light came in at all. Construction noise was constant from a project next door. The restaurant and lounge were also often too busy for space.

The hotel was clean, spacious and well maintained. The staffs were extremely kind and helpful. The only downside of this hotel was the location. Although it was in the middle of Yorkville, the nicest area in downtown Toronto, the hotel rooms were in the lower levels where we could hear every single conversation from the bars next door.

Ok so this is a five star facility all the way around, No question... but when you get a balcony and it faces directly on a air duct of the next building in a dirty alley behind the hitel you gotta put "obstructed view" or something like that.... this wasnt bc of construction its just a busted balcony looking out to brick and a back alley. Every thing else, 5 star just buyer beware lol

This property is one of the best I’ve stayed in around the world. The service is impeccable. The staff provide service before you even know you need it. Doors opened, your name is used welcoming as you come back to the hotel. The bedding and pillows were extremely comfortable, and we had a beautiful night sleep. Additionally, the windows and doors are soundproof, the curtains black out so no noise or light from the city in the evening. The technology, Smart room, electronics for draperies and lights provide convenience. It truly was a five star stay. Thank you!

I loved my stay at the Hazelton! I went with my boyfriend for a weekend trip after Christmas and it was the perfect little getaway. The bathroom was the best part! Definitely the best bathroom at a hotel that I have visited. The area is perfect if you're looking to walk around without a rental car or uber. We walked almost everyone. Beautiful shops in the area and super safe. Would strongly recommend!

Housekeeping services are among the best and most attentive I have ever experienced, including organizing items on nightstand during turndown service, providing extra water, etc. Coffeemaker and condiments were routinely restocked, including refrigerated half-and-half. Concierge services were excellent including providing touring destination suggestions and arranging for rental car delivery to hotel. Superb hotel experience.

The balconies on and overlooking the loading dock were not worth ANY money extra. It was very noisy. They should not charge extra. Then when we got to the room there was an as yet undisclosed letter that there would be construction this week. So we should have gotten a credit for this.

I managed to get some horrific food poisoning while in Toronto and I am absolutely sure had I been in any other hotel but The Hazelton I won’t be as well cared for in the most motherly and tender way!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hazelton. Fantastic location, wonderful personalised experience from start to finish. Immaculately maintained with elegant atmosphere. The suite was spacious and very restful after an overseas flight. Staffing was very attentive. Without a doubt we will return.
