We had a lovely stay in Salzburg! The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful! We were given an apartment style room across the street from the main property which was spacious and comfortable! The bed was super comfortable, the apartment was updated nicely and the building was super cute as well. Nice touches in the bathroom with slippers and a couple other nice amenities! No elevator but not a big deal at all! The use of the coffee machine in the building was great! We opted out of breakfast so I cannot comment on it. The location in Salzburg was fantastic, walking distance to all major attractions and the Christmas markets! Overall a great stay and I would stay again if I am ever back in Salzburg!

City hotel Trumer Stube is an excellent place to stay to explore Salzburg! The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Mirabell Gardens and many other attractions. There is no parking on site, but there is a public garage two blocks away for which the hotel provides a discount. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided helpful recommendations. Additionally, the hotel offers breakfast in the morning. Overall, my wife and I loved staying at this hotel!

Great location in the heart of the city where all the shops and restaurants are. If you are driving though, be sure to contact the hotel beforehand because GPS brings you to an area that is blocked off and you need the code from the hotel to drop the bollard down to be able to drive there, which was confusing and we circled around for a long time trying to figure this out. The parking is also a discount at a public garage not on the property.

Great location within walking distance of Mirabellplatz and the old town area, with lots of convenient shopping, bakeries and restaurants within a 3-block radius. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and there is free coffee and tea in the breakfast room for all guests (even when you don't have the breakfast package). The bed was comfy enough and the room was clean. No air conditioning but it was only an issue because there was a heat wave for mid September (85F/19C). There was a standing fan in the room and the window could be opened, which helped to keep things cooler. BUT while the hotel is on a small side street that's largely restricted from cars, there was too much noise from the patrons at the bars down the way that kept me from keeping the window open when I went to bed. (Noise persisted until midnight.) The bathroom was a little cramped, but it was functional. The all-in-one shower gel/shampoo was not the best for long hair. The staircase is narrow and may be kind of tricky for those with even minor mobility issues. Overall, it was a good stay and I would definitely consider staying here again just for the location alone.

CUTE hotel just off the beaten path but super close to shopping, restaurants, transit - even old town is 5 minute walk across the bridge. Front desk staff were great with info and arranged for laundry to be done in 3 hours. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms are small but very nicely appointed. .

This place is Cozy and is at the center of town where all the shops and restaurants are. The owner stayed late for us to make sure we get checked in. The breakfast (not included in the room price) was excellent with a large variety and also made to order waffles and eggs ! Parking (and getting to the hotel at night is a little cumbersome) is a little further away (5min walk) in a public parking, but you can get a 40% discount by validation at the hotel. Overall a great place. We loved it.

We had a great stay at the CityHotel from check-in to check-out. The staff were all very helpful and very helpful. Our room was large, bright and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The location is very close to access the Altstadt and there are some nice restaurants and cafés nearby. Breakfast was phenomenal and worthy of the charge. We loved that staff offered a waffle and scrambled eggs in addition to the food in the room. We highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, and a clean and spacious room in a historic building. The staff could not have been more helpful during my stay, including letting me borrow a kettle and ensuring that my window was open and cool on arrival (some hotels in Austria have rooms that are too hot). I will definitely stay here again when I visit Salzburg. Thank you

This is a great hotel! The staff is very kind, friendly, and patient with our German communication attempts. The hotel is truly near to all the attractions, jet it is really quiet. The linens are extremely clean and have a nice herbal scent. It is a place to rest and enjoy.

Charming, cozy hotel for a short stay in Salzburg! We had a triple room which was really spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable; reception staff was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations! Location was convenient to the train station and the old part of the city — definitely recommend!

Perfect location, walking distance to every main attractions. Room is clean, quite and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is super excellent. Love the eggs with the hats and the smiley faces. All the staffs are friendly and lovely. Highly recommand this place!

The room and hotel were good. The location was great, except there was a festival going on and lasted pretty much throughout the night right outside of our hotel room. There is no air-conditioning and it was extremely hot so in order to sleep we had to close the window because of the noise outside and basically sweat the entire night. I think that had the festival not been going on. It would’ve been better, or if the hotel would’ve had air conditioning it would’ve been a better experience.

Hotel is 5 min walk to Mirabell Gardens. Staff is really nice. Room was very spacious with separate area for closets and entryway. Everything was very close. Only bad thing was that they had a couple of night clubs very near and on Friday you could hear the people talking loudly, inside the room. We were tired and didn’t mind too much but it went on until 2 am. Our room faced the same street as the club. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very

This hotel was very convenient to the bus/train station where we met our tour for Sound of Music. It was also close to the city center and we were able to walk and view the old buildings in the city. The down side was there is NO AIR CONDITIONING in this hotel. We were hot all night (I am normally cold when other people are hot So if I was hot, it was really hot to others). They did provide a fan which helped. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom just one "soap" for all. I would stay here again but not during the summer. The lift is very small. The room is small but not uncomfortable for 2 people. It would feel very tight with 4 people. The bed and pillow were comfortable.

The staff was super welcoming, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was super with great service and huge selection of food. Great presentation too! The room was great and offered more pillows and amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and check-in was really smooth — they even let us into our room a couple of hours early. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious for two people. The hotel’s location is perfect — just a short walk to the Old Town and shopping areas. Breakfast had plenty of options, including some healthy choices. We had a lovely stay in Salzburg! The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful! We were given an apartment style room across the street from the main property which was spacious and comfortable! The bed was super comfortable, the apartment was updated nicely and the building was super cute as well. Nice touches in the bathroom with slippers and a couple other nice amenities! No elevator but not a big deal at all! The use of the coffee machine in the building was great! We opted out of breakfast so I cannot comment on it. The location in Salzburg was fantastic, walking distance to all major attractions and the Christmas markets! Overall a great stay and I would stay again if I am ever back in Salzburg!

We had a great stay at the CityHotel from check-in to check-out. The staff were all very helpful and very helpful. Our room was large, bright and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The location is very close to access the Altstadt and there are some nice restaurants and cafés nearby. Breakfast was phenomenal and worthy of the charge. We loved that staff offered a waffle and scrambled eggs in addition to the food in the room. We highly recommend this hotel.

Helpful and friendly staff. Great location. We were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to see. There were numerous restaurants nearby. The breakfast was amazing! They made eggs and waffles to order as well as a wide array of fruits, breads, meats, and cheeses.
