When we arrived the outside and parking lot had old, broken outdoor furniture and trash in parking lot. There were many people standing around and hanging out in cars. It appeared very unkempt and unsafe. When we went into lobby there were 2 to 3 people who were administering a migrant program. The man who was to check us in was behind a glass partition area in the corner. It appeared that having guests at the hotel was a secondary business in the building. My husband and I felt the situation looked too unsafe to stay the night and left. I have used Hotels.com and have stayed at Red Roof Inn, multiple times. It is clear after this experience that the quality controls for selecting hotels is not in place. I will not use your services again

No parking with signs to be towed away not 20 feet from front door. A man seated at front desk area did not help but sat at a desk facing the entrance and said i don’t know when i asked him where the desk staff was Signs everywhere for non smoking but it is clear it was once full smoking and the rugs and hallways still smell of smoke Stay away

Not sure what is going on at this property. There was a a room that a case worker is set up full time. I asked the person at the desk and he mentioned they are running a shelter out of the first floor. Would not recommend. Paid a premium price and never really felt comfortable at this hotel.

Poorly kept hotel. Run down on the outside with weeds everywhere. Interior of room was ok but amenities lacking. Missing light bulbs, wall shampoo dispensers empty, security guards at each door felt like we were in a dangerous are, price was ridiculous on the weekend for the quality of the hotel, parking was bad, do not stay tgere

(1) The desk attendant was fine. (2) The maid service was annoying. I never had previously experienced a maid service banging on my door exactly at check out time -- and then after my saying I was on my way out in a few minutes -- another coming by and doing exactly the same thing. It seemed unsettling and disturbing. I would anticipate there being at least a 15 minute grace period for guest check-out built in by the hotel management. (3) There was not an elevator. This really was a surprise. It may have been an issue if my bags had been heavier (or I did not have good strength), as well as my having a recent leg problem that -- thankfully -- was nearly resolved. I am uncertain if the info about stairway access only to guestrooms was noted on the website anywhere -- but upon my booking the room there was nothing obvious. (4) I appreciated that there was decent coffee available to make in the room; tho' it would have been an improvement if there had been a small personal pack of biscuit cookies or something as well, particularly given there was no breakfast available on-site.

The Red Roof Plus Inn is either homeless or DSS housing split with some Motel rooms. Guards at the front door with, what I would guess is, a DSS social worker. Other guards in the hallways. This is not a motel anymore

I needed a place to get some much needed rest and a hot shower. I was thankful that they allowed me to bring my dog in this emergency situation. I was without air electricity in my new apartment and it wouldn't be turned on 'till the following day. However, I was a little uncomfortable with the young people loidering in the parking lot smoking something. Also there was trash bins overflowing on the side of the building and trash thrown all over the parking area.

Security personnel stationed at every hotel exit - because the doors apparently did not lock when closed. Very sketchy people hanging around in the parking lot and lots of strange things going on in open hotel rooms near the office. I stay in a lot of hotels - this one was very sketchy and I felt very odd being there. I grabbed a few hours of much needed sleep and then left. I will not return to that hotel

Filthy rooms, burn holes in bed, broken ice machine, no gym as listed, door handles missing, 2 towels in the room for 4 guests, dust on everything, food and garbage under around the bed, stained chairs. Mattress was comfortable though.

When arriving at property there were a number of people hanging around outside with a strong smell of weed. Gentleman behind counter was very nice, but I believe they assist relocating homeless. They had case workers on site and a number of people they were relocating. Walls are very thin. We had to have sheets and towels replaced before use due to stains. We had spider webs and a couple live bugs in room. Towels, tissues, and toilet paper supply VERY limited. Pile of garbage and debris outside our window. Cleaning practices are questionable.

Awful experience- this might be a hotel where they do human trafficking, the mirror might have been a two way mirror that faced the bathroom, the bathroom door was broken and they had to get tools to get my sister out of the bathroom, there were bed bugs, blood stained sheets, dirty floors and furniture. People were doing drugs in the parking lot. And I haven’t received my refund they promised me.

This property is absolutely filthy and in horrible disrepair. The fact that we prepaid almost 1000.00 for 3 nights in an absolute dump is despicable. Shame on Expedia for even listing this property. We walked in and the room smelled disgusting. The floor had not been cleaned, the accent chair was filthy and had sticks and leaves on it. The furniture is falling apart and the desk chair had holes in it. There were no other rooms available for us to even move to. We had to go to the store to buy cleaning supplies to. Lean the counters , bedside table, bathroom and anything else touchable. Do yourself a favor and scroll right past this listing. I’m reporting this hotel to the health department and I’ll never use Expedia again.

The place was very dirty from the inside and outside. It was one of the worst hotel stays i have ever had. The ceiling was dirty and looked like it needed repairs from previous leaks, the bathroom had dirty walls, everything felt so dirty. There was also a roach in our room. I am not usually the type to complain or leave bad reviews but this was just so awful and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone. The staff was great enough to change our room but the conditions werent any better.

This place was absolutely disgusting. The beds, floors, snd bed skirts are clearly never cleaned. Even the light switches and walls were disgusting. The ceilings were falling in and nasty. Spend $50 and get a nicer room: highly do not recommend!

Upon arrival, the staff was very polite. When going into the room, bathroom toilet was clogged and backed up. The hotel is supposed to be nonsmoking facility with nonsmoking rooms. All throughout the hallways you smell smoke. Couldn't really get any sleep due to music blasting right next to me. Hesitant about coming back but this hotel is affordable

It was easy to check in. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was not good. The mattress was old and felt like we were sinking in the middle. We could hear guests in the other room taking a shower, the vent in the bathroom was really loud.

The staff was real nice. The room was dirty and in poor condition. It really needed a renovation. There was a lot of security around which was nice. Housekeeping was by request and a guess as to what type of towels you would receive. Overall a disappointing room.

Our reservation was cancelled less than 24 hours before our stay. Had to sleep in our car. Red roof inn had overbooked so they cancelled all 3rd party reservations. We'll never book a stay there again. Not a smart business move.

While taking shower, hot water went away and only cold water. Called Front Desk, no answer. Had to go to desk and informed desk of no Hot Water. Front Desk called after 30 minutes and said Maintenance Man was usable to come back to Hotel. Was offered another room but declined it. I want full refund for tonight's stay.

I don’t like to complain. But, this was so bad, my son and I contemplated sleeping in the car or just driving the 3 hours home. It was just supposed to be a place to crash, but next time I’ll spend the extra $$ on a better place. There were random people lingering around the property. The front desk kept telling me NOT TO SMOKE. As soon as I got to the room, it reeked of smoke. Everything was sketchy, we didn’t want to touch anything. Never again. Spend the extra $$ to feel safe and have a clean room.

It was parents\' weekend and the property was charging near nearly 4x the nightly price. In the room, there was basic cleanliness -- sheets, surfaces, etc. But there was wear on walls and toilet, and the floors felt grimy and the smell of disinfectant was strong. There was a social worker who had a permanent office on our floor (weird), and the parking lot seemed unsafe for our car. Overall, a cheap place, which would have been ok for $70/night but not $266. Price gouging, not quite safe feeling -- overall "yechh." Made me want to avoid the chain entirely.

Never stayed, walked in so called lobby was a lady checking in migrants and I don’t have a problem with housing the migrants.How ever the security guard sitting in his chair falling a sleep was not comforting and it was filthy. Don’t know why but but checked in to see room. Opened door to 102 to see cockroaches scattering everywhere. The floors are all buckled. Closed the door and never went in. This hotel is horrible.
