We were looking for a place centrally located in Glasgow, and this was a very convenient location, parking was important and they offered a dscount to park at the adjacent commercial car park which was simple and worked out well.

All staff were above and beyond for helpfulness and genuinely pleasant. Rooms very clean with good facilities. Got recommendations for where to eat before ai even arrived. Only reason not 5* overall is that you can't get room service or something to eat (other than breakfast) on the premises which means going out every evening which isn't ideal after a long day.

Great hotel, not too far from Q-park so easy to get to. 40% discount on expensive parking (standard rate £25 for 24 hours - daylight robbery). If staying at hotel (get code!!) and PRE-BOOK!!! Special thank you to Matthew who was very professional and friendky. He also gave me an upgrade (as Gold member at Hotel.com).

Good location to city centre and main shopping areas, and well connected by buses. Good for couple of nights but as hotel doesn’t have restaurant/ other facilities probably only best for business trips rather than a holiday hotel

Really lovely hotel with lovely reception staff. Let us check in at 9 rather than 2:30 without any fees which was much needed after a 4am start! Great rooms, clean, comfy beds. The only thing that brings this place down is the Wifi. There is little to no signal in the area, and the hotel wifi is very patchy, which if they fix, this hotel would be perfect! Really great though, can’t fault anything else. If I could give 4.5, I would give 4.5 stars purely because the Wifi factor but all else is great. Have stayed before and will stay again!

Exceptional hotel that has everything you need. Great location right in city centre. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well equiped. One of the things I like is that the rooms have a small fridge in the wardrop .. makes such a difference. Parking is available at a discounted rate at Q park car park right next door to hotel. Breakfast was terrific with great choices. No negatives with this hotel.

We were greeted on arrival by the kindest man who showed us how to get a discount on parking and even helped with my phone. A room was spotless and had everything you could want in it, including fridge and safe. I cannot fault anything about this Hotel and I definitely will rebook this next time I am in Glasgow. You also get free tea and coffees on the ground floor all day long what more could you ask for. Excellent hotel with excellent staff, thank you Apex.

Friendly and efficient staff. Very clean areas. Everything really well explained. Very convenient location to centre of the city. Free tea and coffee available in the foyer. Water stations also available on some of the floors.

There wsd black mold in the shower!! The Deskchair looked shabby and used and was more suitable for the dumpster The cheap material was peeling off the seat!Windows were dirty! Room was overheated and cooling did not work quickly enough

Location was great. Room was a bit small for a family of four and could have been cleaned a little better (a few stains on couch and unknown substance splattered on the wall). Staff was outstanding and probably the best part of the entire hotel. They were knowledgeable and so kind. Overall a decent stay.

We love the use of storage space in the room. The ducky toy was a nice touch. View from room 709 was not so good. It was well designed and breakfast was standard but good. The sofa bed for the kids was very sunken though.

We had booked a duplex room and regretted it! Room was disjointed with kettle and fridge in bedroom (upstairs) Coffee wachine downstairs. Towels on bed even though bathroom was downstairs. Lacking in sockets near the mirror for hairdryer etc No socket near kettle.. had to take it downstairs to plug it in! Also to fill it with water. There was a water jug but the nearest place to fill it with drinking water was floor 6 and we were on floor 8! Was quite dusty and the cover on the sofa wasn't the cleanest. Had stayed at apex grassmarket before and had wee extras like pillow spray and earplugs.. not at Glasgow! Found the room cold and industrialised. Plus points.. free mini bar Comfy bed Won't stay again

This hotel definitely needs some TLC. We had a family room with sofa bed but ended up having to change rooms when the sofa bed broke. Slats were held together with tape which didn't provide much comfort. Chairs in both rooms as well as the common areas were coming apart so it seems like it's time for some work on reviving the place. The staff however, were lovely and as helpful as they could be.

Great location with friendly staff. My issue was with the outside noise staying on the top floor with floor to ceiling 2 story windows. They must only be single paned because you could hear everything outside plus the neighbors! We even spoke to another couple who actually downgraded their room because of the noice.

The staff were amazing. We arrived early but they held our luggage for us and even emailed us as soon as the room was ready while we were out exploring. When the room was ready the staff even put our luggage up in the room so all we had to do was go to the room. Was so nice after a long day of travel. The hotel lobby was great too. Had an amazing seating area where my partner was able to get some privacy and work/study. It also had unlimited coffee, water, and hot chocolate. The rooms were very comfortable, a little small, but really clean and made a great use of space.

Love this place. I was sent an email asking whether they could make any improvements (whilst I was there) and I just stated robes. Whilst they don’t put robes in standard rooms, on my next visit - there it was, a robe! That’s service! Won;t go anywhere else now. Comfortable, friendly. Love it.

This hotel offered excellent amenities and a convenient location near the city center of Glasgow. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable. In addition, the surrounding area is filled with fantastic restaurants, giving plenty of great options just steps away. For comfort, service, and easy access to everything the city has to offer, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Location excellent, window broken so very hot as was the weather could do with a refurb as some areas looked like a building site also could do with highlighting the fact that it’s in a green zone before booking as we came by car and it’s very expensive to enter and leave (£60 to enter city and £120 to leave as it’s a separate day which will be halved if paid within 14 days ) got discount for q park which is a bonus but getting an email day before stating these facts would have been a shock luckily for me I contacted hotel who gave my code and I found out myself about the green zone from a friend

The room itself was spacious, clean, good sized tv and had a ironing board and hair dryer for my good lady, freshly cooked breakfast with a good selection of other choices was really nice Area was nice and central with multi-storey parking right next door Staff were really pleasant and helpful Dinner not offered but loads of eateries near the hotel so not an issue Would stay again
