A due passi dal centro storico e dal lago, bus n.10 diretto dall'aeroporto,in zona piena di negozi,questo hotel rappresenta un'ottima soluzione per brevi soggiorni.La reception (8-18)è molto gentile ed efficiente(p.e. non avendo la sveglia telefonica mi hanno fornito di un orologio-sveglia),ma le camere avrebbero forse bisogno di una rinfrescata. Molti apprezzato il voucher per usufruire del trasporto pubblico,che è stato inviato via e-mail,così da poterlo utilizzare già all'arrivo.

The staff was great and the location was great. The hotel itself was awe full. The hotel shares a 6 story building with businesses. The hotel is on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors. My wife and I each had one suitcase - we barely fit in the elevator. It was so small and claustrophobic. Our room was on the 5th floor. The hotel has a no-smoking policy however the hallways reeked of smoke and the smell of smoke seeped through the walls at night. The hotel does not have staff present at night and the guests just cannot self-govern themselves. The walls were paper thin. No exaggeration. The were two sets of earplugs in small boxes that were labeled, “Enjoy a good night even with our central location.” The bathroom was incredibly small and a century old. The shower pan was about 20” x 20”. It was hard to turn around inside the shower without hitting a wall or the plastic curtain. This is the small shower I have ever seen. It was horrible. The toilet seat could not remain open without holding it. Men have to sit down to urinate or hold the disgusting lid open with you hand. This should be listed as a1/2 star hostel not a hotel. Again- the staff was nice and the location was great. The hotel should be condemned or give to squatters to destroy.

Our room was for 3 persons and it had 2 bathrooms which was nice. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. The hotel has a few steps to go up and the hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, accessible by a lift. The steps are inconvenient when carrying luggage.

We chose this hotel for its central location close to old city and its affordability. They offered to set up our room as 2 singles or a double. Our room was simple but clean. We had 2 very basic bathrooms which worked well for us. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We needed a key or code to gain access to the elevator to rooms, felt safe. This is not a 5 star luxurious place, but we were very satisfied with the accommodations and location. Nice view from balcony too.

This hotel was in a shopping complex, & I did have a few problems trying to find the entrance. I also had a few issues trying to connect my laptop with the WIFI. But in the end I managed to get access to the WIFI The staff were really helpful with the room being cleaned in the morning, but without the pressure to get out early

Room was cleaned daily. The staff were fantastic; always pleasant and so helpful. A great base to explore the old town of Geneva, and you may qualify for the Geneva Travel Card which allows free travel on public transport around the Canton of Geneva.

Open door to see a toilet. Shower is at least a 12 inch step up-very dangerous. Tap in sink and shower not installed properly. Shower has mold. Tiny little bugs everywhere. Asked for quiet room and told there were earplugs in the room. Only good thing was location.

Generally pretty good! Location couldn't be better, and though the room was small, it was fine as a solo traveller, and the bed was very comfortable. It was also good value for central Geneva.- All big positives, and I'd be happy to return. It was helpful to receive the tourist travel card before getting there, so could be used to travel to the hotel from the airport. Thank you. A few minor details were not quite so positive: I arrived just after 18.00 when the main entrance is locked, so couldn't get in at first! Fortunately people came out shortly after I arrived, so let me in. I didn't like being woken up the first morning by insistant knocking on the door by staff wanting to service the room. (Reception gave me a 'do not disturb' sign for the other 2 nights, but I had to ask for that.) Anyone with mobility limitations should note that the shower is very tightly squeezed into the bathroom with a steep step into and out of it, and stepping out could be a slip hazard. These are minor details, and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is central Geneva on the edge of the old city and points of interest. Restaurant downstairs in the office building was very friendly but only had croissants for breakfast. Room did not look like it had been updated since 1950. Entrance door was into the bathroom. Shower was tight. Good hot water. I guess this is what one gets for the price in Geneva.

Great location and close to transport and centre with shopping. Supermarket 2min walk. Room very clean and bright but the shower and toilet very very small. Noise coming from street but to be expected as in centre (ear plugs in room) however ok when doors shut. Friendly staff.

We stayed in a bunk bed room without a toilet. It was perfectly nice and comfortable. Beware the bunk bed was quite squeaky with any movement, so just be aware of that. Otherwise, our stay and room were great.

Great location in old town area with easy access from bus or tram stops. Lots of great places to eat within easy walking distance. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had booked the last available room and although it wasn’t ideal for us it was clean and convenient for our one night stay.

My wife and I each had one suitcase - we barely fit in the elevator. It was so small and claustrophobic. Our room was on the 5th floor. The hotel has a no-smoking policy however the hallways reeked of smoke and the smell of smoke seeped through the walls at night. The hotel does not have staff present at night and the guests just cannot self-govern themselves. The walls were paper thin. No exaggeration. The were two sets of earplugs in small boxes that were labeled, “Enjoy a good night even with our central location.” The bathroom was incredibly small and a century old. The shower pan was about 20” x 20”. It was hard to turn around inside the shower without hitting a wall or the plastic curtain. This is the small shower I have ever seen. It was horrible. The toilet seat could not remain open without holding it. Men have to sit down to urinate or hold the disgusting lid open with you hand. This should be listed as a1/2 star hostel not a hotel. Again- the staff was nice and the location was great. The hotel should be condemned or give to squatters to destroy.

Excellent location- lots of shopping and restaurants near by, in a safe feeling part of the downtown so made walking back in evenings more comfortable. Hotel itself is very rudimentary. Clean but not updated as room condition was very old and quite small. Photos are much nicer than in person. Recrossed is very small, staff were very kind. Note office hours start at 10am (door was closed and sign said opens at 10am when we tried to check out early to catch our train) but it worked out and we were able to make the train on time.

Great affordable place in Geneva, staff were extremely helpful, staff sent a check in message to my phone prior to arrival to confirm details and provide bus passes that we did not receive through the Expedia booking. Due to our backpack size we took a taxi from the airport for 40 CHF but could have easily taken the train and walked to the location. Stayed in a bunk bed room with a shower in the room and shared bathroom. Room was great for my husband and I, very clean. Room had an open window as well as a fan and tv. The shower was small for my 6”4 husband but was fine for me. Very happy with our stay. Geneva was overall expensive with limited grocery options and limited opening hours for stores. There is a grocery store very close to the hotel. Walking distance to train, old town, and waterfront. The accommodations had nothing to do with our general experience in Geneva. We were very happy staying at Hotel Central. Staff were amazing would stay here again if I needed to return to Geneva.

Great location and close to transport and centre with shopping. Supermarket 2min walk. Room very clean and bright but the shower and toilet very very small. Noise coming from street but to be expected as in centre (ear plugs in room) however ok when doors shut. Friendly staff.

Out stay was pleasant. Very boisterous people at 4:30 am! And NO morning coffee. This would not be too much to ask for $265! We enjoyed walking around the water and 180 restaurant. Charlotte and Jeremy there were very friendly and the Beef Wellington was spectacular!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is central Geneva on the edge of the old city and points of interest. Restaurant downstairs in the office building was very friendly but only had croissants for breakfast. Room did not look like it had been updated since 1950. Entrance door was into the bathroom. Shower was tight. Good hot water. I guess this is what one gets for the price in Geneva.

A very unique compact double walking straight into the bathroom before the bedroom to maximise space Disappointing no tea or coffee in room Understand no air con as old building so had doors to Juliet balcony open but was very noisy as works happening right outside Reception friendly, helpful with city pass and map and spoke English we appreciated Found I had a lot of messages prior to and on the day to ask about arrival time after replying each time I found this a lot as was a busy work trip and this was a stopover to experience Geneva before coming home Great central location I would stay again but hope the points can be taken

Amazing location right on main canal right by the train station and a major boat taxi area. However, AC not working & it was 28° in the room. Brought us a fan said it would be hours before repair person could come. Finally after begging for another room or a partner hotel we were moved to a building 5 min walk away. Second room was Amazing! AC was great. Breakfast was included and had some options.

Fantastic hotel in the centre of the city which provided an excellent base for exploring Geneva on our two day stopover. Room was clean, spacious and had two bathrooms! Plenty of places nearby to eat. Staff were very welcoming and helpful in recommending restaurants. They were also able to store our rucksacks on our last day to save us carrying them around before our onward travel in the evening. Definitely recommend!!
