Great cozy place. Parking is a nightmare though and the only available spot is at another larger hotel a few blocks away.

The room was extremely small, and only parking available was street parking unless you wanted to pay for their parking which was blocks away from the hotel. Huge inconvenience.

Parking is hit or miss. Basically you have to park on the street. I think they say they have a parking lot that you can rent for $20 a day. Very cute boutique hotel and yes, I would stay there again.

Greenleaf was a boutique hotel that has 1920 charm. Very Quiet, convenient to walk the neighborhood. It had limited parking on the street, they do offer offsite parking for a fee. No elevator in the building and if you are a senior the hotel does not offer bellman service. This can be difficult if room is on the second floor. Staff was accommodating.

Parking here is a nightmare. Staff was friendly but upsell you on things you don't need. Do not take the bait! No elevator and very hard to understand staff as they have a plastic divider and very noisy bubble machine right next to it. Would not Recommend.

The hotel was really clean, the bathroom is a bit in the small size. Also room is small,bed is comfortable. There was a small heater which did its job to keep The room warm. Parking was a bit cumbersome as you have to double park on the street to check in. Parking is a about two blocks away, might be beneficial to have valet parking.

Staff was wonderful. Hotel and room were very clean. Revive room was worth the small upgrade fee-snacks/coffee/breakfast/bevs were all great! Did not see an elevator so not sure if there is one-it’s an old historical 3 floor building. Excellent boutique hotel with affordable rates close to the ocean and cruise ports! Will definitely stay here again when cruising out of Long Beach!!

The staff was extremely friendly. The surrounding area was sketchy. There was loud yelling outside my window two nights straight from pedestrians arguing. Also, there was a a towel hanging up in my bathroom when I first arrived that had been used… I understand they are working to build their hotel brand. I am empathetic & hopeful they could get it on track. The renovations are going to be nice.

I gave a four star rating because the towels were more gray than white and one had a spot on it. Also, they put the creams and sugars for the coffee inside of a cup, but the cup wasn’t in plastic. I didn’t feel comfortable drinking out of the cup that had contact with all those things.

The room was very clean and the staff were kind. They were also very environmentally friendly. They kept a/c off til you got in the room and fridge was turned off until you needed it. Super cute rooms and close walk to the beach!

Close to the beach and Vons grocery store. Room was clean and comfortable. I could hear ice machine and alley noises but not too bad. Had a minor issue getting room made up (wasn't done first day so asked for coffee, was half done second day so I asked them to come in to finish). Front staff was accommodating.

I didn’t like how the water pressure got weak at one point. And then the pressure went out of my head when it started pouring out so I’m just trying to make a plan to make sure that way it doesn’t come backwards

Rooms are a little small but clean and effective. Their system could be a little faster or have two system in case one of them is down or they have an issue with a costumer

Was here for conference- this is a business savvy property. Newly renovated and exceptional staff always making sure that your stay goes above and beyond. Coffee in the room was great and it’s very quiet, WiFi is really fast at almost 300mbps. I have never seen WiFi that fast at a hotel! Will be back

Great spot, cozy and a bit small but overall well done seems newly refurbished. Nice and friendly staff. Parking isn’t great but parking isn’t great everywhere in LB so it is what it is. Would recommend and stay again!

Place overall was cool , down stairs no ac you need to upgrade , around the area was very convenient and safe everything is close by walking distance

There is no microwave in the room. It was a huge inconvenience

I stayed solo in Revive Queen room, newly renovated. Loved the cozy feel of the room and being able to open windows to open air. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom a bit small but had all the amenities i needed and then some, like a bathtub and an orange infused shower head. Couldn't ask for a better location for the price, walking distance to many, many fine eateries, outdoor bars, grocery store, post office and a block away from paved bike trail along beach. Was able to find steeet parking easily during the day at no cost. Staff was avail. 24/7, kind, courteous and ready to help with any questions you might have.

Water volume in shower a bit weak. Check in took much longer that at one of the chain hotels. Room was clean and well designed. The room is similar to what is found in Europe.

The only redeeming quality of this so-called “boutique hotel” is its location. Be warned: check-in is strictly at 3:00 PM. I arrived just 30 minutes early and was made to wait outside, even though the property has a small, empty “business center.” My booking was confirmed and prepaid, yet I wasn’t allowed to sit inside. I ended up waiting outside until 3:10 PM, in a line of guests, while only one staff member handled check-ins. There was no indoor space to wait, literally nowhere to sit. Ironically, they were far more proactive about check-out. At 10:50 AM, I got a knock on the door, with a “friendly reminder” that it was time to leave. Their website advertises a multimillion-dollar renovation, but I’m skeptical. Room numbers were printed on paper and taped to the doors with plastic, hardly what you'd expect from a luxury upgrade. There’s no lobby, no seating area, and the front desk is enclosed in an acrylic barrier that made me question the safety of the neighborhood. I’d only recommend this place if you need B&B (one night stay only) and even then, don’t expect breakfast or amenities. It’s essentially two floors of bedrooms and nothing more.

Excellent service , we upgraded to the revive lounge and it allowed us to have breakfast and snacks in the afternoon. Was perfect. We stayed jan 26-28, the people working at the front desk during that time, day or evening were all very courteous and professional. Would recommend hotel.. will come back again!

Staff were excellent, tried to do anything to elevate the stay. Area was decent near water but downtown LB has its concerns. Parking was a bit of a hassle but staff were helpful when explaining.

The only downside was the amount of time it took to check-in and the offer to charge me $35 extra in order to check-in 2 hours early- which they were unable to do. They did hold my bag ehile I went to a coffee shop and kill time until my 3:00 check-in. The staff were kind and helpful. I would stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Jay was very helpful and informed me of all the amenities the hotel had to offer. I was aware of the current reconstruction of the facility, however that was not an issue for me. Leo was also very helpful as well, helping me store my luggage for the day. — This place is a hidden gem! A place where I intend to come back to. I will say that the surrounding areas seem kind of sketchy, however they are located in a really great spot! Near a grocery store, I was also able to navigate public transportation super easy as well. The Pike Outlets and Convention Center is also a 15 minute walk away, which was nice. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great staff!!

Nice, quiet place. Unfortunately, there are a lot of homeless people wandering around. The local residents also let their dogs use the bathroom along the sidewalk and the smell is overwhelming.

Fantastic property (which seems fairly recently refurbed but was having a paint job as I departed. Hopefully they’ll get the proper numbers on the doors soon!) great staff and the rooms are lovely. Perfect location for my needs, around downtown and the oceanfront.

The Hotel is surprisingly charming, clean and quiet. The breakfast was simple and healthy with the wellness or fresh juice shot provided. However, the parking is not so convenient- as it is not in the location of the hotel but a few blocks away. Walking around the area is unsanitary because of the smell of urine and some dog waste. Good thing we arrived and left during day time, I’d be scared at night.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the check-in was prompt. The parking is limited. They have an arrangement with a parking garage, but we didn't use it because they said "We'll give you the details after you pay." At checkin, they also made a comment about "stains on the bed or curtains," which was difficult to hear. It turned out that the rooms were immaculate, so evidently it was a warning to keep them clean. The additional $20 for beverages and snacks was worthwhile, though the breakfast was oversold in its description (just muffins, some scrambked eggs, waffles, prepackaged snacks). As long as it wasn't $20 per person, it works out. The rooms were very nice but also quite small, shoeboxes but very nice ones;) The room had the standard Keurig, minifridge, wall-mounted AC, and TV. I chose this spot because of the 9.8 rating; however, I'd give it a 7.8. The location is safe (enough) and an easy walk to Shoreline, Pine Ave, the Pike (20-30 min).

What a gem! Clean and well-appointed! Lots of fun extras in the room—aromatherapy machine and Dyson hair dryer. Go for the breakfast/lounge upgrade! Fun surprises that are well worth it!

I am a hotels.com native and I am very honest detailed reviewer. So here is my honest review of hotel: Check in: 8/10 - no parking so you have to put your hazard light in middle of street (residential area so it’s fine) but staff is above and beyond. They have a upsell for upgrade $20 plus tax and gives you lounge access. Parking is a hassle but it’s a safe area and I feel comfortable leaving it at the Marriott. Also when I checked in I was checking in with a lady in which she was friendly and seemed to be new but the man who was just standing in the office was glued to his phone, I thought it was disrespectful when she was checking him in! I have never seen that before Room: 9/10 new modern and comfy beds that seems to be expensive. Rooms are small hence I gave a 9/10 but has everything you need. Location: 11/10 close to many local attractions and amazing restaurants Lounge: 10/10 for $20 I am not complaining - free beverages and snacks! They don’t have breakfast so don’t think you get hot breakfast but like cereal, nuts, and danishes with coffee that is soooo amazing it’s much better then Starbucks! Amenities: 8/10 Lounge, free ride in downtown, room service, and paid delivery to grub hub! Not a 2 star hotel more equivalent to a Hampton inn or best western . Overall 9/10 - would recommend for picky people like me but keep in mind there is NO AC AND OFFSITE PARKING. So if you need those both commodities don’t stay here otherwise this is probably one of the best

I recently stayed and had a wonderful experience! The room was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after a long day. The upgrade was the highlight, adding extra luxury to my stay. The continental breakfast was fantastic! The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel!
