Rett ved sentrum av byen, nær både Stephans kirken og trikk, metro. Renhold meget bra, god frokost, litt høy musikk og latter fra bar og teater i gatesmau ved våre vindu, men ble ro ca kl 24. Savnet en kos foajé/bar men datarom med bord og stoler var åpent for gjestene. I fint vær kan man sitte ved bord og stoler ute.

Perfekte-ruhige TOP-Lage. Personal freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Zimmer (Nr. 519) war sehr groß und absolut gepflegt/sauber. Frühstück mit guter Auswahlmöglichkeit, wird bei Bedarf ständig nachgereicht. Parkplatz ca. 5-6 Gehminuten entfernt um € 24.- Tagestarif möglich.

Está bien pero necesita actualizar algunas cosas. Las puertas de las habitaciones son lo peor. Es clásico pero necesita una reforma. Por lo demas cumple bien. Limpio y cómodo. Un detalle muy malo es que en la consigna de las maletas no tienen ningún tipo de seguridad, puede entrar quien quiera y llevarse tu maleta.

Checked out a day earlier than anticipated, with ample notice to hotel. Was told we would recieve a refund for last night but it turned out to be a lie. Many calls and no resolve. Hotels.com had to take a loss to resolve it with me. Hotels.com is to be commended while the hotel holds no esteem. Parking is several blocks away which is not uncommon in Europe

The room was spotless. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The pillows weren’t great - rather flat and uncomfortable. But that is typical in this part of the world. The soaring high ceilings and beautiful vintage elevator made for a delightful experience. The location is perfect- one block from the tram stop and the underground station. The hotel is a great value for the money. Definitely recommend.

Vi boede på Hotel Post i 3 nætter i december 2025. Hotellet ligger perfekt, lige i smørhullet. 5 min. fra Stephans Dom og lige ved gågaderne. Hotellet er tre-stjernet. Vi havde standardværelser. Vi synes sengen var ganske god (vi sov godt). Der var mørklægningsgardiner . På vores værelser tog man brusebad i badekarret. Der mangler en måtte i badet så man ikke glider. Men ellers var det rigtig fint, helt rent og håndklæderne blev skiftet hver dag. Værelset var enkelt (seng, skrivebord og en stol), men vi har brug for en god seng og at der er rent og pænt og det var der! Kunne have ønsket en el-kedel. Det havde vi set, at der ikke var, så det tog vi selv med. Til morgenmad var der yoghurt, havregryn, musli, cornflakes, frisk frugt, brød, kager, æg, pølser, bacon osv. Kaffen var fin. Der er ikke en masse faciliteter på hotellet, blot morgenmadsrestauranten, et lille opholdsrum, hvor man kunne trække sodavand og så receptionen. Vi havde en person i selskabet, der blev syg og som ikke kunne gå med ud og spise, og da vi andre kom hjem fik vi straks en tallerken med op med brød og frugt og de spurgte om der var andet de kunne gøre. Tak for det! Vi bestilte også taxi fra og til lufthavnen via hotellet. Vi var godt tilfredse og vælger hotellet igen, hvis vi skal til Wien.

The hotel was well located very close to the U-bahn and Stephansplatz. All the major sights were easily walkable but the hotel was not on a noisy street at all. The fridge in our room didn't work but the staff let us use a communal fridge downstairs which was fine as we were only on the first floor so it was not too much of a bother. We were told that a lot of the fridges don't work. It was odd having to put our own duvet in its cover and a bit of a shame not to have tea/coffee making facilities. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was well stocked and even at busy times there were no problems. If I were in Vienna again, I'd happily stay here.

The hotel is fine and the price is good for Vienna. Location is nice and easy too. All I woukd say is room was very tired and unattractive and the floor we were on seemed like it belonged in an old institution. Old Lino etc whereas other floors were carpeted.

The Hotel Post is walkable to many of the city’s attractions. It’s the only one I’ve stayed in that has a vestibule attached to the room. Beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large windows feel like you’ve stepped back in time to a more elegant era. My only ding to this lovely establishment is the shower. The water temperature varies wildly during use when not physically moving the handle.

This was our favorite hotel in all ways this trip to Europe, from the helpful front desk who offered a tourist map and suggestions w/o being asked, the large and comfortable room with beautiful antique furniture, quiet but very central location, and most excellent breakfast. I don't know how it is not rated higher. I only wish we had stayed here our first 5 days in Vienna instead of only our last. The pictures don't do it justice. This is a superior place to stay in all ways. It is right in the heart of Vienna, but on a quiet side street.

BEST find ever!!! Excellent communication with Hotel Post. The staff welcoming and helpful. Great assist with airport pickup with our flight delay. The rooms were traditional and spacious. Heated bathroom lovely. Housekeeping spotless and so very nice. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff were great. Location was great access to walk as advertised and close to U-Bahn. Felt safe. This was our first stay at Hotel Post. Would stay again and I highly recommend. Thank you to all at Hotel Post for a lovely stay.

Room immaculately clean. Loved the mattress topper which was found in wardrobe. Great position for walking everywhere in Vienna. Had to ask for kettle and cups for room. Breakfast room is not big enough for the amount of people and had to sit in a side room which was not ideal.

Breakfast room is too small for a hotel of this size, which caused over-crowding even though the hotel was not full.
