Holiday Inn Express Shanghai PVG Airport Zhuqiao - Free shuttle bus to Pudong Airport and Disneyland

This is my first time staying at this hotel, and we have been very pleased and impressed. The hotel is new and equipped with very advanced technology, such as sound control everything in the room via AI and chatting with her, smart toilet, very modern style shower, etc. The front desk staff are very nice and friendly, esp Miss Henley Li (李珍艳）who was very caring and proactively help customers with any questions you may have. To me, a Shanghainese, the breakfast is wonderful and a very big satisfactory. To my husband, it may need be improved a bit to meet the needs of foreigners. The location of the hotel is a bit of distance and the shuttles bus service is a great help. However, the drivers don’t help loading and off-loading luggages. The door of luggage cabin somehow is very low when opened, it bumps my husband’s head. If the driver can help guest doing the job like other hotels shuttle buses, that will be great. The hotel location is a bit distanced from PVG airport, however, they have shuttle buses running 24 hours back and forth between airport and hotel, as well as to nearby Disneyland.

Front desk staff "Henlen" is a God sent from heaven. It was our first time visiting Shanghai China and we arrived at the hotel in the evening. Henlen greated us with a smile and proceeded to help us with our check in. She used a Translation app that was Very Helpful for all of us. We were able to get our questions answered and she helped us get DiDi. We cannot Thank her enough for being such a caring person to my wife and I. Henlen also told us that whenever we needed anything, please reach out to her and she will get whatever we need taken care of. Without Henlen we would be running around like a "chicken with no head" Henlen is more than an Amazing person she has a big Heart and Really cares about giving the Best Customer Service she can. She would be a great Supervisor / Manager someday. She is the Best !! The room was clean and in excellent condition. I didn't expect a Holiday Inn to be this good. Breakfast was also Excellent. Variety of foods to choose from. Food is fresh and delicious. Air condition worked as it should and would come back and stay here again in the future.

Hotel is brand new and high tech savvy. Location is a bit remote and need drive through sketchy village due to new road construction. But with free airport shuttle, it is no big deal. Easy to order food you like through meituan, great value/price ratio, among the best holiday inn express I ever stayed. If you only need one night stay before/after your stay, this is the place to be.
