For the price, couldn’t beat Golden Gate! I’ve stayed at high end Vegas hotels and low end ones, and for just me for a few nights to hang with the boys it was perfect! Room and hotel were very clean, the staff was very helpful and accommodating and the amenities like free drink happy hour every night with free play credits for gaming was an added bonus. Also, the free access to Circa’s Stadium Swim was fantastic! Would stay here again!

One of the older casino/hotels but still nice. Really enjoyed the fact that you walk out the doors and you are in the Fremont Experience. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Only negative was that had requested a fridge in advance for the room (no they don't come with a fridge or microwave) and had to request again after checkin.

A nice hotel, little dated, with limited amenities. No onsite restaurant, sundry store, things like that. But they have partnered with the Circa right across the Fremont Street to use their amenities and dining locations. Got other dining and shopping options right outside the door and it's in a very walkable area on the west end of the Fremont Experience. A nice casino downstairs with dancing dealers and a place where yiu can find lower craps and blackjack table minimums. So if you're looking for a basic hotel just to sleep a few nights at an affordable price, this could be it!

NO HAndicapped parking. Valet you have to pay for . Free lot almost impossible to find. Not friendly employees - staff not helpful in finding free parking lot or getting you in & out of the lot that says $5 per hour !!!! Computers down almost impossible to check in. Took over 1/2 hr then checking out they try to tell you you haven’t paid & it’s another 1/2 hr to leave !!!

When I arrived my roommates name had been taken off reservation. When finally got in room there was dirty underwear on floor, Worst of all the street noise was so loud you could not sleep. Awful.

The air condition is controlled by the actual hotel so it’s constantly hot and it feels like just a fan is blowing. The rooms are very small and there was no space to even move around. The bathrooms are extremely tiny and the door barely opens due to the toilet. A very outdated casino could use a lot more improvements regardless to it being historical. Not very family, friendly as there is no restaurants no amenities no gift shops on the property.

Definitely get the suite. The regular room we were offered was barely bigger than the Queen size bed and felt outdated, but very clean. The suite was an upgraded price, but reasonably priced.

The room was very outdated. Bathroom was very old and small! The room’s a/c is controlled by the temperature outside which was bad for us because it was super hot and stuffy in the room and we had to ask for a fan from the hotel staff. But we did love the fact that we got to get in free to circa’s stadium swim and it was literally across the way from it!

The hotel is very old which is expected but they do not have any air-conditioning in the rooms. You have to open the windows to get any cool air into the rooms and bugs fly in and you can hear everything outside on Fremont Street so it wakes you up in the morning.

Checking in I was notified that all double bed rooms face Fremont St and might be a little noisy. A LITTLE NOISY? The live music till 3 am shook the room windows with the bass line and at times vibrated my body in bed. This detail should really be a disclaimer when attempting to book the room NOT when you get there and already paid with no other rooms available. On a brighter note- the front desk desk and valet staff were the friendliest I have I had in Las Vegas.

Front desk was very accommodating by holding our luggage in storage while we waited for a text to let us know when our room was ready. Unfortunately that text never came through and we checked in a little after regular check in time. A man knocked on our door a couple times claiming welfare check before letting himself in. They had multiple ways of checking in on us: cell phone, hotel phone, security camera that was literally right next to our door and card usage that would show we went in not even an hour before the intrusion. Security claimed they do this if do not disturb tag is on for more than 24 hrs. -May be a policy we are not aware of but not printed anywhere.

I was on a solo Vegas trip - Golden Gate was perfect for me. Its convenient location adjacent to Circa was ideal for me because I wanted to visit the Sportsbook. I was able to check in early and asked for a room away from some of the noise of Fremont Street - the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. I plan on staying at Golden Gate the next time I visit Vegas.

At check in the two front desk girls were very rude . They changed the room I booked to one double bed it was so so small I had to call down to see if I could pay for a upgrade a room with two beds they hung up on me when I went down a young man was there he did help me but once entered the new room is was horrible I left and payed for another hotel !! I want a refund this hotel staff was horrible!

I booked a queen size bed months in advance, i got there and they said all they had was a twin size and the rooms are first come first serve. I ended up going to another hotel. Wasted 2 hours trying to get a refund they said the manager was gone until the next day 12pm. Other ppl checked in after me and got their requested rooms. Ill never book here again

Service has declined severely since I stayed here regularly three years ago. Housekeeping is non-existent. I scheduled two "appointments" for maid service and never had my room made up or cleaned. On the third day, I was awakened by a loud hammering on my door and someone shouted "Security!" I refused to open my door until I called down to the front desk. While I was on the phone, The pounding came again, "Security!" I opened the door after the front desk assured me that it was indeed security. The two men claimed they were doing a "welfare check" because my "do not disturb sign was displayed for 24 hours. This was blatantly false, since I had one of my unmet housekeeping appointments set during that period and housekeeping would not enter if I had the sign displayed. Professionalism and customer care have gone the way of Covid. Won\'t stay here again and that pains me. I used to love the history of this place.

We loved our stay. It was in the thick of things. If you want quiet, then dont stay here! We welcomed the loud music that starts at about noon and ends about 3am. We come for the Vegas effect. Not for the sleep. Room was clean, floor tables cheap and parking was free. Loved it!

When they checked us in they warned that there would be street noise from Fremont street. We said we understood and it was ok. But that was an understatement. The walls and windows were rattling and booming because of the stage below our room. The noise was so loud I couldn’t drown it out with the television, or wearing my AirPods to bed.

They gave us a room facing the performance stage and sleep was impossible till about 2am or even 5am. I wish we had been warned because we would have picked another hotel. The one perk was acces to two pool amenities. So access to the D hotel pool was great. Also hotel should add better area to hold your items in the shower. Only option was to place them on the shower floor. Somewhere to get hot water for tea would have been great. I had to go to Starbucks with insane lines or the D hotel to get this.

We loved everything about it. It would have been even more amazing if you would offer coffee in the morning in the lobby for your guest. That’s just a suggestion. Thanks for everything. We were right by the stage and yes it was very loud throughout the night. My husband loved it, he slept right through it.
