A 3 star hotel, with a small pool and gym. Near the Galleria. Older facility with moderately sized but clean and comfortable rooms. No safe in the room, but there was a refrigerator and coffee machine. Good water pressure and plumbing. One elevator (out of 2) was not working. Helpful staff, although the night person was by herself, so there was some waiting.

I would stay again but I would phone the hotel directly to get the temperature of the pool. It was 72 degrees when it is usually 82 degrees. Excellent staff: courteous, efficient, quick response time. The room was clean and a good size. It was handy to have The Bistro where you can order several food items: quesadillas were good. It is pick-up only, no room service. Biggest disappointment was that the pool heater was broken since I specifically chose this hôtel for the indoor heated pool.

The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the fact that you had to pay $23 a day for parking and it wasn’t included with your stay. Other than that, it was great.

The pull out couch mattress looked dirty and unkept with some stains. I had to look for the sheets to put on and they didn’t fit properly. Worked for our daughter but she was hesitant sleeping on it. A lot of water dripped in the floor when showering and shower itself was poorly maintained. My kids were excited to use the pool. Unfortunately, when we went to use it the temperature of the pool was FREEZING Cold! I called front desk and asked if they could heat it up & was told it was having to be repaired. It was fine for one night but I would have preferred a different hotel after this stay.

The staff is excellent. However, maintenance needs to be done to upgrade the quality of the rooms and hallway. There was only a very small indoor pool. I had to buy a pool pass for another hotel.

The property isn’t worth the price and needs a remodel or a really good clean. The carpets were filthy. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and there was water ring stains on the nightstands. The house cleaners could do a more thorough job overall. There was also either a kids sporting event or family reunion there the weekend we were there, there were kids everywhere running up and down the halls and playing in the elevators all weekend. The front desk staff didn’t say a word. Will never stay here again.

The room was visually very clean, but it had a musty odor. I sprayed a bit of air freshener when I arrived because it was so smelly. By the time I returned to the room 30 minutes later, the musty smell had returned. I used the ice bucket and there was an odor in the bucket from it not being sanitized. I used the liner for ice bucket, but did not use the lid over my ice due to the strong mildew smell. These details do mean a great deal when I am staying in a hotel.

I rented 2 rooms. Room 714 the toilet kept running allllll night and kept me up against my will. Room 716 the bathroom was not cleaned well at all. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom

Everything about the hotel was lovely except the most important part of your experience at a hotel - the beds. We had a king room with a pull out sofa. The pull out sofa was so uncomfortable that I ended up sleeping on the floor and waking up to leave the hotel at 5:30am. My two friends shared the king bed and they both had a sleepless night due to how uncomfortable the mattress was. The furniture in the living area was also really worn and gross. We didn’t even want to use it.

Staff was great. Room was fine. Difficult to sleep with a) the family with little kids nearby making noise, b) the haunted-sounding mini-fridge whooshing and cycling all night. Beds are a little firm for our taste, but that’s the random of hotel rooms. Not to be ‘that’ guy, but there’s no media guide on the tv system. You gotta cycle thru every channel to figure out what’s on.

This was my first stay at the property while visiting Houston. I normally stay at Hotel Derek but this has become my new favorite place. The staff was very professional and friendly and didn’t hesitate assisting when asked. My children and I really enjoyed our stay. Even though it was only one night, we look forward to our next time there.

Got to the hotel around 3:25 to star my check in when I get there they told me they were no rooms available at the moment so I need to wait for 20 minutes or so !! Wait for 1 hour and 45 minutes on the lobby to finally get my room I wasn’t the only one with the same issue!! They need to wok Berger in logistic and gave real customer service to the guest !!! I drove for 4 hours and it’s not fair for us to wait for a room when the hotel took my money right away !!

The frond desk dude was super rude on arrival. Never in my life will i ever stay at this hotel again. My son kept hitting his head on the headboard. having to pay for parking makes no sense

Front desk staff is not at all helpful , we booked general king bed plus sofa bed room from Expedia, when went to hotel, they said general room not available and you’ll get accessible room however room which I got doesn’t have sofa bed for which I charged for. When complain for hotel staff was not supportive at all

I will not return to this hotel again. The only plus they have is location , but it was dirty and the rooms smell old. In the 3 days we were there the only day that our room was cleaned was the day we arrived. I have no idea what house keeping do there or maybe they only change towels, but our room was not made at all even though we always left at 9 am. Will not return

My friends and I stayed there for a weekend getaway and it was good. The room was clean but could use some updating. We liked that we were in walking distance to the galleria and food locations. Overall this was a nice hotel and I would stay again.

Basic accommodation. No water in the room. You will pay a fee for parking. Staff was friendly but not patient. I asked for a clarification and they just repeated the answer like I should have known. Best thing was the location, it was near the mall and many things to explore in the area. We would start again here in the future.

Reasonable hotel. Not special Breakfast is from a Starbucks inside the hotel but quite basic. The 2 oatmeal and 2 teas came to $30 and the oatmeal was not really hot.

The room was clean and comfortable. The FREE breakfast was a joke. Their choices were a burrito a bagel or a pastry. Everything else you had to pay for. I have never stayed at a Marriott that didn't offer a decent breakfast.

For the price i was not a fan of paid parking, and the fact that the kitchen only works till 10pm forces you to go and search for something outside which is a nuisance if you are traveling and check in after those hours. Staff was courteous and rooms clean and we'll kept.

It was false advertisement. Your add said that you had free breakfast with your stay and that is not true. That was the only reason that I chose to stay at this particular hotel. When I went down to get breakfast, I was told that it was not included. Don't list things that are not true just to get guests to book. The hotel could have been better. It was a little run down.
