Positives: The accommodation was reasonably clean, the location was fabulous within the reach of many restaurants, shops, and the supermarkets, the cleaner, Erica, was professional, although right in the middle of the city, the noise level was very low and the sun blocking shutter was great, comfortable bed, very large and clean beach towels, room service was appreciated, I would recommend this place. Negatives: the space was tight, there is no lift so a bit tough getting the heavy luggage up the stairs to the top floor, the bathroom had a strong smell coming out of the drain which was unpleasant (would help to have it drained)

Good location but basic accommodation, no good if you have accessibility needs as there is no lift and lots of stairs

I would have given the accommodation the full 5 stars had it not been for the used sanitary product left in the bathroom bin, presumably from the last occupant. Good location Great price Cleaning needs more attention

Stayed 1 night

Arrived on the 30th for one night stay we got in the room just after 3pm as we had a couple of attempts to get the code . On entering the room we noticed stains on the quilt cover . After going out for food we re returned to find an unbearable smell coming from the bathroom. I’m believed this was coming from the sink and shower drain . We did think about moving apartment but the time was getting on . We opened the window in the kitchen to get rid of some of the smell that drifted in the bedroom by doing this we had to put up with outside noise till early hours. On departure we told the house keeper the issues . Basically they said they will look in to it . We received a email not long after Leavening saying there sorry we had to have the window open all night. The house keeper said they couldn’t smell anything and the stain was an old one that hadn’t washed out . ANYONE WANTING A NICE RELAXING STAY DO NOT BOOK HERE you will waste your money . There are a lot of places in Harrogate that are really nice . And you get your moneys worth . I’ve added photos of the stains but the smell just imagine rotting eggs 😷😷

Amazing room. We didn't want to leave to go out it was so nice. The only issue we had was with people in the rooms banging round in the early hours but we will stay again as it was hopefully a one off.
