Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel well situated. Breakfast excellent. A very pleasant stay in a nice place. No on-site parking is inconvenient but manageable.

Our room needed a little attention, lights not all working, curtain off the rail, but big room, comfy bed. We phoned and asked for a low room due to mobility issus and were moved to the lowest doom in the property. Breakfast was smashing, always hot and plenty of it, serve yourself, so you could get just what you wanted. Reception staff very helpful. Gavin and Sue lovely. A good few evenings in the well stocked bar, at the best prices in town. Tables and chaires outside to enjoy the warm evenings. Overall, a wonderful stay really enjoyed it. Location good, close to everything. Would definitively return for the good company and friendly atmosphere.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Llandudno. It’s in easy reach of the beach and the great Orme tramway. The staff are very polite the breakfast was excellent the room was clean. If I have a grumble it is there is no lift so going to the second floor was difficult however not their fault as I did not tell them two of our group have difficulty with stairs. PS we did not ask them for a change of rooms as the rooms we had were superb. 10 out of 10

Great place to stay. Not much parking option unless you get lucky enough to get one of the few spaces right out front of the hotel but not a deal killer. We will stay there again

There is no parking at this property, despite it stating on street parking. I went in to ask for recommendations for parking or if they could provide a permit for the parking outside. I was told they didn’t know, thought maybe I could park at whetherspoons and that “it’s not our problem”. There are some beautiful period features. The rooms are shabby and tired, the bathrooms are grotty. We were in a room for four. It was stuffy and so dusty, the carpet felt like it had not been hoovered in a long time. After receiving zero help with parking I didn’t see the point in asking for help with any of the issues in the room. It smelt like stale cigarettes, drains and flea powder. A smell that has followed us home on our luggage. We came back midafternoon to find the manager smoking inside. The saving grace of our stay was the staff hosting breakfast. A man and woman who were so helpful and friendly; great with all the kids and genuinely happy to help. The manager and receptionist could do with some training from these two stars. Don’t stay here

Check in needed Id which was ok but didn't see the need for it. Was not given room that was requested even though I had emailed hotel twice and was told to pick my room, the room given was smaller than I like with a palm tree covering the window. The bathroom was very small as well, everything was clean and tidy, It was difficult to find parking close to the hotel due to restrictions on time you could stay. Not the hotels fault but it meant quite a walk to the carpark. The breakfast was buffet type and one of the best I've had in a long time, plenty of food and of a good quality. The staff were very helpful and friendly all in all a nice stay.

After a long travel from the US we were excited to stay at the Rose Tor. I booked this hotel purely off of Expedia reviews as most were great. After arriving, we checked in with a friendly younger gentleman at reception. We had issues with our door lock as its older. He came up to help. We weren't aware that there wasn't air condition in this hotel as that was not listed, but we Looked past it as we had a window in our room. As we were trying to go to bed, we would have no idea the frustration and noise that would come from the bar across the street. They were opened and loud singing karaoke until one o'clock in the morning. Now after a long few days worth of travel and some much needed sleep,this was the last thing we needed. Room number 5 was not only loud and, but not the cleanest either. We had a half filled tea pot sittinf on the dresser, and stains all over the carpet and chairs. Granted this hotel is old, but with the cleanliness standars and reviews, we felt extremely dooped. We also tried to eat or drink from the bar, but after sitting there for a good half-hour, nobody showed up. After a horrible 1st day-and-night experience I went directly up to reception at 8 AM the next morning to check out and ask for refund. This time it was a different gentleman at reception and he was not helpful at all he said Expedia is responsible for a refund and he can do nothing to help. We were not offered a room change or credit of any kind. Beware of reviews and do your researc

Nice and clean room. Very spacious although staircase up to the bathroom was quite narrow with a tight spiral. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location to walk to town centre and attractions.

Clean and comfortable bed. A little dated and bathroom a little on the small side but was fine for one nights stay . Great price and breakfast choice excellent . Only small crititism would be upgrade to a better coffee machine for Latte or cappuccino etc. other than that no problems. Only other thing was on the corridor the doors when walking through said push not pull then opposite side was not correct . Bit misleading if there was a fire people would panic. Other than that a lovely stay convenient for walking to for places to eat. .. Bar was reasonably priced too. Thank you.

The deco was very nice, but dusty. Need a good regular clean. Unfortunately on our first day/night we didn't have any hot water or heating. Very cold very destressing when trying to sleep

A hotel with ideal location, but was unhappy at the cleanliness of our room, in particular the bathroom where the toilet was still dirty. We were changed into a different room which was better, but still not a very high standard.

Property cleaning and maintenance is almost none existent. Shower blocked, windows dirty and will not close properly, cups in room unwashed, attic cover doesn't cover hole in corridor ceiling, toilet handle missing. Not sure how they got 2 star rating. I don't mind budget facilities but there's no excuse for the lack of cleaning and maintenance.

Overall the stay was good, just two things that wasn't good 1: no hot water in the bathroom, meaning could not have shower 2: WiFi wasn't working, no Internet

Tired room (5) in need of bringing more up to date. The furnishings were old, carpet appeared stained and dirty. Bed uncomfortable. Bathroom very dated. No hot water, barely a tricle from tap. Staff and location a plus and a good breakfast.

We found room to be unbelievably hot with no fan in room, room was a little bit in need of a refresh and the stairs were a bit too much. Second day no housekeeping was done in our room with dirty cups, no bed made and full bin left unemptied! Positives were absolutely beautiful breakfast and lovely lady on reception in the afternoon who was very helpful. All in all a good hotel which we would book again as its convenient, clean and friendly staff.👍

Our first time in llandudno and we chose to stay at the rose tor hotel its an excellent hotel with everything near by location was perfect 3 miniutes walk from the beach 13 miniutes walk from the train station the staff were brilliant and very proffesional the room was beautiful with all facilities in top condition also included in our stay was a buffet breakfast ranging from pancakes to cerials and much much more thank you for a great weekend have already re-booked up for 2025 👍

I booked two rooms for myself and one for my daughter for three nights. the rooms were unheated and cold . No hairdryers in either rooms. when I asked for one the guy at reception was rude and arrogant . he basically told me to go buy my own and said they have no more hairdryers .

After reading some of the reviews, you get what you pay for and we found the hotel could not do enough for you, the hosts were fantastic and made our stay excellent.

Rose Tor is situated perfectly in downtown. We loved walking around the night we arrived and seeing the nightlife around town. The breakfast was delicious the next morning! All of the staff was extremely accommodating and gracious. The hotel is quaint, and we loved it!

Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel, nice and clean,bed was super comfy. Close to all the shops,beach and pier. My 1st time visiting Llandudno and it certainly won't be the last. Had a lovely trip to the Great Orme by land train,the highlight was seeing lot's of seal's in the water and on the beach.

Our two day stay was excellent It's location is in a brilliant spot top end of town 5 min walk to Pier and sea front descent size room that was clean breakfast was excellent including in price short on staff but the 4 that was on was excellent and would do anything for you budget wise excellent and would stop again
