The hotel itself is lovely and the check-in process was smooth. However, our stay was spoilt by several issues. The key cards couldn't be programmed, meaning we had to go to reception every time we needed access to our room. The phone in our room wasn't working, making it impossible to contact room service or reception for assistance. While I can usually cope with such inconveniences, the high price we paid made these problems unacceptable. Additionally, when we returned in the evening, we were unable to purchase water because the card machine wasn't working, and the hotel didn't offer complimentary water. Overall, the experience did not match the cost. --- Does this work for you?

A good, functional business hotel albeit a little remote but there is a shuttle service to Canary Wharf tube station which helps. The restaurant / bar area was ok with sport on the TV albeit the food was only average but all round service was good from check-in to bar and restaurant staff

Overall a perfectly good night away with some special touches as we were celebrating our anniversary. Staff experience varied. The waitress was good and the bar man on duty later in the evening was very friendly and helpful. There seemed to be some weird hotel policies including not being able to take your drink in the restaurant over looking the river even though only one table in the restaurant was occupied. I seen this raised on several reviews so the hotel should take note. Also no tables outside unlike the hotel photo's which was disappointing as the weather was nice

My review is based solely on the fact that the spa was closed. The reason the review is so low is that the spa was closed all day. I didnt arrive to the hotel until after 6pm. Check in is 3pm. Not email or call to let any guests know about the closure. This would have gave me the opportunity to book another hotel with a spa or even go to a spa or even my gym before checking into the hotel. Poor customer service.

It was made very inconvenient as the locks on our room doors were down. Every time we need to go to our room, we had to wait for a member of staff to be available to escort. Which also made check-in long. They wouldn't even let us purchase any food from the shop in reception when we returned from our event due to whatever issue they were having with thier systems. The locks were still a problem the next morning.

Reception staff, and night porters were very polite and nice. Bar, waiting and kitchen staff let the whole establishment down. Breakfast had stale hash browns ( never thought this was possible) and mushrooms were not even cleaned before cooking. The Scoff and Banter Restaurant has beautiful view of the dock, however not allowed to have drinks or dessert in this area as it was a hassle for the bar manager to clear the table of cutlery etc. Would understand if the restaurant was busy but only 1 table of 2 people eating at the time. Waiting staff wore unkempt uniforms, and generally did not want to be there. I quickly realised that Scoff related to the attitude of the bar/restaurant staff and not eating of the food. IMO this section of the hotel needs a complete overhaul.

Staff were welcoming and despite of having the room key programming machine down, they were happy to take us up to our room whenever it was needed. Really pleasant team they are. The room was quiet, big and clean, just a bit of a zooming noise coming from the building next door (data centre cooling fans?) but very peaceful otherwise and great shower and bath in the room too.

The hotel was really nice. We had a great day. The only thing I didn’t like is my towels were dirty and secondly in the shower there was no wash gel so we had to grab it out the bath other than that it was a great day.

Booked in checked in and staff was helpful . Got to room it’s had a damp smell , bedsheet didn’t look fresh . We got ready and wife getting dressed as they do makeup etc and she opened the bin and it sanitary pads in it 😮 Far the worse hotel I’ve ever been to

Very disappointed, dirty towels and stained cups in the room. Tried to give us free breakfast which is probably the worst breakfast I’ve had in a hotel. Waiting for a manager to contact me as advised by Barsha on reception. Hopefully someone will contact me on Monday.

Staff were great, extremely helpful and understanding especially the front of house staff could not do more for you, however was disappointed in the quality of the room, booked a river view premium roof and the whole room was just dusty, seemed like it had not been used in a while. We found mould in cabinets, the bed had lipstick on it and the utensils were dusty. First time being disappointed in a Radisson blu stay due to the accommodation, staff were extremely excellent but a premium room looks like we were the first inhabitants in months

Check-in process was awful. Arrived at check-in time, only to be told my room isn’t ready. Had to wait nearly 2 hours. Once in the room there was fixtures and fittings broken. Not what you would expect for a penthouse suite. Cleanliness was not to standard.

Room was comfortable and clean. Beds were good. Only issue was that there was a wedding reception and the music played vibrates through the building and into the room until midnight. Not a huge problem but I wanted an early night and it wasn’t possible to sleep with the bass being so loud.

Comfortable room, we had a twin bed, comfy with soft comfortable duvet and pillows. A shame there wasn’t plugs on both sides of the bed. Nice shower, location is pretty good not far to walk to tube station and be in central London within 10 mins.

Booked a twin room for my brother and I to stay in after a concert. Upon check in was told that the hotel doesnt have twin rooms in the room type we booked despite it being advertised with a twin room option. Found the staff very blunt. A few marks on towels and bedding when arriving in room.

Stayed one night and had high expectations due to experience of RB elsewhere. Cannot fault service staff or room generally. Minor gripe might be its rather remote location, but it does at least have a picturesque position on the river. However, unfortunately the AC in our room was totally useless. It was a hot a sticky night yet it took over 4 hours for the AC to reach 18 degrees. In desperation we left the AC set to 5 degrees hoping it might be quicker if we set it at refrigeration temperature. The fact that it was pre-set at 5degrees suggests the previous occupants had struggled with this machine too. There is a card beside the controls which warns you something along lines of …it will work away at reaching your desired temperature so i suppose in retrospect it was never going to be rapid. But if this was its usual standard of performance - then I would suggest it fails in its primary purpose as most people don’t spend more than 6 hours in a hotel room. Anyway, having spent 4-5 hours lying in a pool of sweat I finally got to sleep just before breakfast. I was so tired I forgot to make a formal complaint at the desk.

Hotel overbooked !!!! How ??? We booked over a week ago to be told our room is not available when we checked in?!? so we were transferred to another hotel 50 minutes away. Utter shambles and a disgrace. 4 star hotel and treated like this. We will never book again with this hotel chain.

Bar staff really rude. Couldnt be bothered to serve us. Got back to the hotel late to be told we wasnt allowed to buy bottles of water as the card payment machine wasnt working. Was told that they couldn't help as the snack bar is an independent company. Asked for the manager and was told he was upstairs and not coming down. We paid alot of money for the night and just expected better service. Will never stay here again and definitely do not recommend

Arrived early. I had emailed the hotel about it and asked for a room. they seemed great on email then when I got there were very rude. found a room but I had to pay a day rate of 79GBP. on my VIP status with Hotels it says early check in if available. this was for sure available but they did not want to accommodate unless I paid. told me otherwise it would be 1pm earliest. I arrived @ 9am (having warned them). after a long cross Atlantic flight, was quite frustrated.

We stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved it. Fantastic hotel, very clean, good transport links a bit of a walk to the station if with kids just need to be mindful of that but it was pushchair friendly, lifts/escalators on route to central London. The breakfast is great and you can enjoy with a stunning view overlooking the river. We had a romantic weekend and the staff made it extra special for us. Staff are wonderful especially Barsha. I will definitely visit again.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, London Canary Wharf East is located in a residential area (apartments). We found the room spacious and comfortable. It was 30°c during our stay, the air conditioning in the room worked well and kept the room cool. Daily housekeeping. Tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Safe available to use. The location was quiet and we found a small deli nearby which sold coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The hotel is a short walk from the Blackwall DLR station (accessed via a subway) or the East India DLR station. Great access to Canary Wharf, O2 and ABBA Voyage.

Good stay. Very clean hotel with good facilities. Gym was great and the breakfast also very good quality with a varied offering. Comfy bed too. Location is slightly out of the way, but walkable to Canary Wharf tube station in around 15 mins. DLR lines slightly closer. Amazing views of the River Thames from the restaurant and gardens.

I could not fault this hotel. The room was fantastic, clean and the views onto the river was stunning. We ordered food from the room service menu which was well presented and extremely tasty. Staff were very helpful polite and the breakfast is a must if you stay here as there is loads of choice and the quality of the food is immense - would recommend this hotel to anyone 5 stars

Modern and clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was of a good quality. Location within a 5-10 minute walk to Blackwall DLR which connects are stops along nicely with Canning Town Underground where you can switch for 1 stop on the Jubilee line and your at the O2. So a great location for concerts/events there. Canary Wharf is also a only a short walk away.

The room was specious, location was also good, quite comfortable sleep. Didn't like the breakfast, ordered Eggs Benedict, poached eggs were overdone, instead of ciabatta, was given a lice of brown bread.
