Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fort Worth West l-30 NAS JRB

You can tell this is an older property that is getting updated. The outside is nice. Parking is easy. I felt safe. It was easy to get to. The staff were courteous and helpful. Check in was easy. Minor inconvenience that the person who checked me in gave me the wrong WiFi password. When it didn’t work I asked about it and was told “that is the password”. Not a major problem as it was late by then so I just went to bed. Next morning I asked another employee and got a new password that worked for the remainder of my stay. Second minor inconvenience is the flush handle pull up bar cracked so toilet didn’t flush. After I told the staff the problem was fixed by the time I returned to my room later that day. There was a strong chemical smell when in the elevator but it was limited to that spot. Small irritation the exercise room was closed for renovations. Not sure if this was posted on the website as I didn’t check ahead, but I just found a workout video to do in my room. There is a small pool that looked well maintained, however I didn’t go in it because I didn’t have time. It was quiet for the most part. I could hear people a little bit but not enough to get upset over. I had the breakfast once. It was ok. Too many carbs, but that it the case for most motels. There was someone maintaining it well. There was some renovation work being done but it wasn’t intrusive and workers didn’t get in way or bother you. I would stay there again

I was not looking for a 5 star hotel, just the basics for a quick 4 day trip. However a non-working elevator is not acceptable. The hotel only had one elevator. So we had to use the stairs 3 out of the 4 nights. My suitcase lost a wheel while taking it downstairs. No manager on sight. Poorly managed hotel. Don’t be fooled by the affordable price.

This place is currently under construction. We were given a room right next to the construction at first and after entering the room, my friend and I decided the jackhammering was too much, so we asked for another room. We were placed in the room directly above it. Less noise, but smelled HORRIBLE. Beware of the musky, moldy, smoker smell in room 217!! Also, I said this place is "unsafe" because the side door was locked each night with a key. The key cards worked, but the manual lock was set. I complained to the lady at the front desk about the inconvenience and fire hazard with this issue and her response was, "I haven't been here for a few days and I don't know what's going on. I can't unlock it. My boss will have to unlock it in the morning." We thought that was weird, but there was clearly nothing she was going to do about it. The second night, the door was locked again the same way. I did not feel safe or cared about in this hotel. Beware - if you stay here and there happens to be an emergency, you will only have one exit - the front door. **Also, there is an urn in the breakfast area. You may be eating breakfast next to someone's dead relative... We stayed the night in the Country Inn in Lubbock the next night on our way back home. WAY BETTER HOTEL THAN THIS ONE!!!!!

Nice rooms, clean hotel. The fitness facility is terrible. The universal machine is 1000 years old and there are no accessories to use to actually workout. The cardio machines, while operative, are the cheapest models available. If you expect to workout on your stay, this isn’t the place to stay. Otherwise its fine.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly, and the breakfast was fine. The elevator was out, which was slightly inconvenient. Overall, given the price, we were happy with our stay.

It’s OK for the cost. Pool was clean. Bed mattress was comfortable but the pillows were about as bad as it gets. It’s a 1 star that at least tries. But it’s a cheap motel and they only have so much of a budget. So if expectations are properly placed then you will like it fine.

Elevator wasn’t working and wasn’t told about the problem until after we checked in. We were on the third floor. Horrible

Price is right. Location was good for me. Staff is pleasant & accomodating. I am empathetic, staff is low for the facility. However, elevator is filthy. No maid service in 9 day stay. If you don't mind bringing your trash to the ice room, bringing your own food. They advertise a bistro, which is dried muffins from Starbucks for $7. There is a concession with chips. Poorly managed & understaffed. One elevator works and may be on it's last leg, no ice on 2 & 3. No knowledge of upper floors. Carpet has been replaced, lobby with work station. My room & bath felt clean, just no regular cleaning or towel service. It was in a convenient location for my purposes. I'll try to find another hotel close to my daughter.

Pictures look great but the hotel is awful. Checked into the room with dirty sheets, called the front desk and he said he would send housekeepers to change the sheets. He did not. Left me with dirty sheets, I spoke to another front desk agent and she said housekeepers left for the day but she can give me a new set of sheets. So ridiculous, I have to change my own sheets to a hotel room I’m paying for because everyone is dropping the ball. I ask her to leave the sheets at the front so I can grab them on the way back, she said okay. I come back and there’s no sheets, front desk agent at the time gave us a couple of flat sheets. Towels are gross, comforters are gross. The rooms are nasty and feels dirty. Worst experience

The management was rude, the room was dirty, and there were bugs coming from the air vents. The hotel looked nothing like the photos.

The room/hotel is not as advertised or even close. The couch was ripped to shreds, not to mention gave a rash after only 20 minutes of sitting on it, the room was not clean (clumps of hair inside the sheets, used towels in the bathroom), and bugs swarming out of the AC unit every time it turned on. The owners refused to switch our room and told us “to just checkout”. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. We did not stay and ended up checking out to go somewhere else.

Very clean and a good location!

There were bed bugs on one of the beds. It took me 2 times contacting the front desk and asking them to do something before they moved us to a different room by 3am! By that time, the other occupant in the room was already bitten, clothes were already infested by the bugs, and we were so scared the bugs might also go on the other bed or be everywhere in the room. I never write a review but this is the very first time it happened to us and we travel A LOT. It was horrible!!

This was truly the worst hotel I’ve ever visited. The entire hotel smelled very strange. We had to hold our breath just to take the elevator - so much mild and mildew in there we couldn’t breathe. Tried the stairs - those were nasty with dirt and bugs. Then the room. My son found a condom wrapper stuck to the headboard. We were scared to walk around without shoes. It was that dirty. The bathroom was CLEAN and this was the highlight of the hotel. Being green, they only clean your room upon request. We requested a room clean and new towels early the third day. We came back to the hotel that evening and nothing had been done. I requested towels so we could shower and the front desk said they didn’t really have anymore. We were given one pool towel and two washcloths for two people to shower. I have a feeling Radisson has no idea how disgusting this property is that boasts their name. You couldn’t pay me to stay there again. We couldn’t switch hotels because EVERYTHING was booked due to a Fort Worth event.

I absolutely loved my stay at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fort Worth West. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was spotlessly clean, peacefully quiet, and offered a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was great—fresh, well-stocked, and a perfect start to the day. Every detail, from the friendly staff to the well-kept facilities, made my visit enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Fort Worth area!

Beware! We ended up staying at this hotel twice in two different rooms in the past two months by chance and both times have been extremely negative experiences. Do yourself a favor and book some place else! The main issues: Cleanliness - the sheets were stained yellow and had a foul chemical smell to them. There was rust and staining around basically all of the bathroom fixtures. Carpet was atrocious and not only needed a good cleaning, but a basic vacuum would have helped. On the 2nd stay, we all got a bunch of flea bites on our legs. Functionality - on the first stay, the bathroom door would lock by itself. On the 2nd stay, the front door would collide with the bathroom door anytime you entered the room. The beds are lumpy, lopsided and extremely uncomfortable. The digital clocks in the rooms were plugged in but not working. We ended up leaving around midnight on the 2nd stay to just start making our 6 hour drive home because we absolutely could not sleep or stay there. We cannot speak on how the customer service was but based on the guy's face when we told him we were checking out because we were so uncomfortable, I don't anticipate that very much would have been done. We paid $108 for our stays each time at this hotel, but it's probably worth half that. At this price point, you can definitely get much more comfortable accommodations. They obviously care little about the state of their hotel, and makes me wonder if Radisson is really behind this parti

But i feel, in this condiition, it's not worth more than $45 a night. If the staff took a little more prude in their work and some cosmetic touch ups were done, it would be worth what they're asking.

Hotel was in a sketchy location and smelled the minute you walked in the door. Room and bathroom was clean. It was ok for my one night stay. Most likely will not stay again.

We had to come to Fort Worth for a tournament and just needed a place for 2 nights. We didn’t want to spend a ton so this was a good affordable option. It is more on the outdated side but that’s to be expected. Our room had a small balcony facing the pool which was cool and the pool itself was perfect for the hot days. The bed was very comfortable which is what we’d read in other reviews and why we chose this one over others.

This property was absolutely beautiful on the inside and the out. My room was spacious and beautiful. I had a doorway to a balcony that was by the pool. The bathroom was abolsutely beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was comfy. I was completely pleased with this hotel and my room accommodation! Highly recommended!

Room was very spacious, bed was comfortable, WiFi was really good. Location was good but there was noise from jets flying overhead once in a while but we would definitely stay here again. Lots of good places to eat nearby too.

Run down property, not anything close to what is advertised. Broken cabinet door where microwave is stored, big hole in cushion of couch, arms of couch in room are worn and ripped. Stains all over carpet in room. Do not recommend this property

The only saving grace about this hotel was the bed. Surprisingly very comfortable. The room itself was not bad. Clean and comfy. BUT THE NOISE!!!! From cars, to airplanes, to construction, to people walking through the hall way. It’s like the walls are built out of toilet paper. Yes, the room is comfy but you will NOT sleep. You get what you pay for here for sure. If you’re looking for a cheap place to crash for just one night, it’ll do. Just don’t expect to get a good nights rest. Also, the breakfast was gross. Everything was old or stale.

I liked the bed it was comfortable. I didn't like the balcony it was super small and besides i would never get a balcony because its on the side of the pool and it was super noisy.

Elevator had a bad smell. Very musty. Air conditioner/ heater did not work very well. Not much blankets. Floor stain.

We never did get any maid service all 4 days we were there. Trash needed emptied and about ran out of toilet paper. The front desk gave keys to another guest who walked in our room as we were changing. Evidently she never fully checked us in when we arrived. No real apology for any of it.

The lady at the front desk didnt smile or really make eye contact with us at all and she was watching videos on her phone. she didnt tell us really anything about our stay.I thought maybe that was just how she was until I saw her interaction with other people and figured it out. My wife and I didnt feel welcomed. If you are looking for a LGBTQ friendly place, idk if this is it. The hotel room was just okay. No extra pillows or blankets apparently. The location was just okay.

This property listed it had certain amenities that we needed. we had arrived in the later evening. When waking up the next the morning to go use said amenities. They were non existent, we tired to speak to the front desk but no one was ever there. Once I was finally able to speak with someone and simply asked for a refund for the next two nights since the hotels information was misleading they told me no. Ended up speaking with manager who was flat out RUDE. The agency we Booked through finally contacted hotel and got us a refund. The manger literally shooed me away like I was fly bothering him when I tried to turn keys in to him and told me to have a nice life all while laughing. ABSOLUTELY the WORST experience ever.

The person who checked us in was so rude we would have gone somewhere else if we hadn’t already paid. She was unhappy we interrupted something she was watching on her phone when we came in. When she asked for my credit card I asked "you show I've already paid, right?" and she snapped at me in an extremely rude way "this is for the deposit!". The hotel needs to get rid of this hateful person but the rest of the stay was pleasant and the room was nice and clean.

Incredibly disappointing from start to finish. I arrived a day late due to flight delays caused by a tornado warning in Chicago. Despite informing the hotel multiple times, they insisted I provide my credit card over the phone to avoid canceling my reservation, even after I explained the delays were beyond my control. With a conference in town and most hotels booked, I had no choice but to comply. When I finally arrived, exhausted and jetlagged, the room I was given was filthy—dust everywhere, as if it hadn\'t been vacuumed in days. I called the front desk, and the receptionist (short dude with glasses) told me to come down for a new key. When I asked if the new room would be clean, his dismissive response was, "I don\'t know, you tell me." The second room was no better; the toilet hadn\'t even been flushed—there was still poop in it. Too tired to deal with more hassle, I ordered cleaning supplies through DoorDash and cleaned the room myself. I stayed for 7 days, but the poor ventilation made me sick by the time I returned home. The short dude w/glasses\' attitude was consistently unhelpful and rude. Breakfast was cut short by 40 minutes, and that obviously upset some guests and he was sooo rude and disrespectful to them. Had breakfast there about 3*, saw him being DISRESPECTFUL on 2 different occasions. The only positive was their French toast. I expected common decency, but if you care about cleanliness, respect, and comfort, look elsewhere.

Great place to stay with friendly staff

The hotel is situated a little bit off the interstate. I did not hear any road noise in the room at all. I was able to watch the cars go by from my balcony. Yes, this property has a lot of private balconies. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my room had one. It was not advertised with one, and not sure why. The room is so much bigger than I had expected. Upon walking in, you are standing in the living room area. It has a love seat and a chair. In the other corner is a dining table. The sink in the kitchen area is very useful. Then onto the bathroom with jetted tub. What a nice way to relax. The king bed was comfortable. I had expected a normal hotel bed but this one was softer. Staff was great! Parking is easy. Minutes from food and shopping!

This hotel was for the FWSSR in February. The location was great getting to stadium and very affordable. My only concern was homeless people approaching us in the parking lot. Other than that the hotel staff and conditions were great for the price

We stayed here for a concert. The dickies arena was 10 minutes away which was perfect. The location of the hotel had a great selection of restaurants and shopping options. We had a great stay. We didn't get to try out the breakfast nor had time to go swimming.

Rooms are clean, comfy bed, with cold AC. Friendly staff. I kept losing my room key. Gave me a new one. No attitude. Good location. 10 mins from downtown Ft worth or Hulen mall. Easy accesss on and off freeway.

The area didn't feel exactly safe. When my husband called ahead of time to ask if there have been problems with theft in the parking lot he was told yes. It was also very noisy. Seemed like you could hear everything. As for cleanliness of the room, I question how well it was cleaned. We had crumbs in one of the chairs that we had to wipe off before sitting down. There was also a dice sitting on the floor. Just makes you wonder how well they clean it. On a positive note, the shower had good water pressure, but the tub was very squeaky with every movement.

It’s an older building. Could use some updating. Breakfast was not great. Coffee was watered down. Could have been much better easily. Price was good.

My only complaint was the oatmeal was super watery every morning, to the point I couldn’t eat it. It was as liquid as a broth. Being allergic to gluten, there weren’t many foods I could eat so I asked if the oatmeal could be remade and the answer was no. On the positive side, the room was clean and the beds comfortable. There was a small refrigerator in our room, and a coffeemaker. Good television options. Friendly front desk.

Breakfast quantities were often low and few selections. No cups of yogurt. No flavored coffee creamer. Had to go get clean towels ourselves. One day they had no clean wash cloths to give us! I’ve never been at a hotel that didn’t have more clean towels to give customers. We had stayed there 4 nights.
