The room was right behind the elevator so i was awaken throughout the night by the elevator cable noise. It was great that the room had a microwave; however, the room really needs updating

Room was clean, staff was nice, i did enjoy my stay. However, upon checking out, i noticed there was no breakfast. We were offered a cup of orange juice for $3.00.

Room had severe water damage, AC did not work and there was about 3 hyper white streetlights that shined right into the window at night lighting up the whole room. No blackout curtains, the restaurant food took an hour to arrive to the table after ordering and the next morning when we had to leave for the airport there was no one at the desk to check out. We called, looked around and tried to get someone to help get a shuttle and no one was to be found. Furniture in the lobby is filthy, carpets are gross and we debated on laying under the sheets in the bed. Stay somewhere else, this place is filthy, unkept and needs repairs and cleaning.

It is so hard to write a review about this hotel. It is so convenient to the Birmingham Shuttlesworth airport. The staff are 100% amazing and wonderful. The Deep South breakfast buffet is cooked by a kitchen genius (I wish I knew the gentleman’s name. He is a wizard!). All of these positive human attributes are taking place in a property that is increasingly decrepit, dirty, smelly, and uncomfortable. To the owners : IT IS TIME TO RENOVATE ! PLEASE!!
