The hotel was within walking distance of a few restaurants. There is a Van Houtte coffee shop at the base of the hotel which we found convenient. We got around using Uber and they were always available and we never really had to wait very long. All sightseeing that we did was usually within a 10 minute drive. We liked the pool and the exercise area in the hotel. They were both very clean and well maintained. Keep in mind the pool is not very deep (probably around 4' 10" (?) inches deep) but we were fine with that. Our room was near the elevator but we didn't experience any noise issues. We did not eat in the restaurant in the hotel only because the hours that it was open, we were not in the hotel. The room and the bathroom were both very clean and we had no complaints with the hotel. Overall it was a nice stay.

Gym was really clean & great. Pool was ok, has 1-1.3 m depth, so almost for kids. The sauna room is big but the highest temperature wasn’t hot enough to sweat quickly. The restaurant was decent. The room is clean & functional, though during winter you need to humidity the air somehow for a better sleep. Despite all, I fully enjoyed the stay. Take advantage of early morning pool, sauna and gym.

Beautiful hotel. Great service. The pool table in lobby was fun at night. Pool/ gym area were great. Super clean. The older concierge man was delightful and helpful. I don’t have a negative thing to say about my stay.

Parking was a little weird...one entrance/exit.. I came face to face with another car as I was entering. A safer way of functionning would be better for parking, as the red and green light system and the attendant method does not seem to work. Other than that, everything was fine.

Room was good and staff friendly. Location was pretty good and about a mile walk to parts of the old town. Knocked a couple of stars off as I try to swim every day and booked this hotel specifically because it seemed to have a good pool, suitable for proper swimming, only to find on check-in that it was closed for about three weeks until around 6 July. Had this info been communicated prior to booking (only the day before) we would have booked an alternative at a similar price, such at the Hilton. Of course, I appreciate facilities sometimes need to close for maintenance, but listing online should be updated to make this crystal clear upfront. Anyway, apart from that the experience was good, and we enjoyed our visit to Québec City.

The room was ok, smaller size than expected. The lobby and hallways were not very clean. That may have been due to it being very busy during holidays, not sure. The restaurant was only ok, very expensive brunch and not a lot of options compared to others. Also surprised that there was no marketplace inside for any drinks etc besides a wine bar. Parking was full so we had to self park across the street and getting in and out of lot, on a one way street was annoying.

Looks clean when reviewing photos but actual rooms gross. Carpet in the room had sticky bits all over. Bathroom had large black mold spots. Wouldn’t even step in the shower despite how dirty I felt it looked even dirtier. Lysol wiped down many main surfaces and they always came out looking black afterwards. Only slept here for the night absolute minimum amount of time needed because I was grossed out. Staff I interacted with at check in and check out friendly enough. Only bar of soap in the room to wash hands with. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Rooms are spotless. Friendly responsive staff. Communications are flawless. Responded to questions within minutes. Location is perfect. Everything you may need (groceries, cafes, stores, parks, …) is close by. Highly recommend. I would definitely come back!

Terrible ! Je suis arrivé fatigué à l’hôtel à 22h30. Il faisait 15 degrés dans ma chambre en plein hiver ! Le plancher de la salle de bain et les draps étaient gelés. À minuit il faisaient 19 degrés dans la chambre. J’ai demandé de changer de chambre mais ils étaient complets. Après avoir passé une mauvaise nuit, j’ai eu toute une mauvaise surprise lorsque j’ai constaté qu’il y avait du vomis et des poils collés dans le fond de la douche… J’ai essayé de nettoyer le tout avec la douche téléphone, mais en prenant ma douche j’ai été dégoûté de constater que le vomis était remonté et que mes pieds trempaient dedans. En quittant l’hôtel, la dame qui n’était pas gentille me réclamait des frais pour la nuit alors que le tout avait été payé d’avance. Bref, un cauchemar.

The first time we walked out of the hotel when we arrived we were attacked by a homeless person, screaming, and swinging a shirt at us as we walk down the block and he followed us until we went into a store The hallways were dirty appeared as though they hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time The people working at the hotel were very friendly and when I refrigerator broke, it was replaced within 30 minutes

The hotel was clean, and the entire staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was a plus and catching a cab was easy. However, rooms were not soundproof. Overall, we were very pleased wirh our stay.

The staff are amazing and friendly. The hotel was clean; however, the beds are very uncomfortable and bumpy, they are too soft. The air conditioning in our room was making a tractor sound, we asked the staff to fix it, which they did almost immediately. but after two nights it started to make the same sound again.

When we arrived we needed to change rooms, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was clean. It is about 30 minute (uphill) walk to the center of old Quebec. The only issue we had was that the WIFI in our room was mediocre at best (slow and unstable).

Parking was vital and amazing. The greeting staff was excellent. Very helpful, very friendly, very informative. The welcome email sent by the Hotel was great and informative. The aesthetics of the hotel was great, love the art, love the vibe, very clean, lots to take in, so keep your eyes open. If you don’t know something just ask questions. The elevators are clean and working, there seem to almost be a staff active and willing the help especially the doorman, I have never seen such an active and positive personnel. I had a very good experience. I could see myself going back, I would give them my business definitely.

The Pur is a very interesting artsy looking hotel. We loved the modern comfortable ambiance. The concierge was most helpful , lovely cafes, pubs & restaurants close by I don’t like to be negative but our room was quite hot during the night & we couldn’t get the air conditioner working. We also had an issue with the tub and water backup ( which was full of hair etc) Also we asked for a very early wake up call to get to the airport but it never came.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service! The hotel is located two blocks from stop 6 of the Hop On Hop Off Bus making it convenient to get around Quebec City. There is also a coffee shop attached to the hotel with great coffee and excellent service. We did not try the hotel breakfast, but the dinner was excellent! Reservations are required for dinner. The concierge service is also wonderful!

Thought the location was convenient to walk to the old city. The room was bigger than expected, bed and bathroom were good - comfortable and had all the amenities. I liked the nespresso coffee machine. There were lots of eateries near by. Parking in the building was convenient. It’s a mixed residential area around the hotel so there are some homeless people hanging around - i didn’t have any problems although perhaps be cautious of the nearby park after dark. The staff were very friendly - doorman/concierge and parking attendant. The restaurant waiter was especially friendly. Overall a good experience.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was really nice. You’re about 20 min. Walk to old Quebec. The only downside is the church behind the hotel has a lot of drug users and homeless people so it’s best to avoid that area when walking to the hotel. Make sure you ask for a view of the city not the church.

This used to be my go-to hotel in Quebec city but it’s gone downhill in the past two years: rooms not as clean, furniture worn, and sadly the neighborhood has really degraded in terms of safety and overall cleanliness. Their parking garage is open access for pedestrians and I felt unsafe retrieving my car. I won’t be back. Sorry Pur!

The PUR was in a great location with lots of restaurants and walkable to most everywhere. Our room was very large, with a lot of counter space in the bathroom. We appreciated the Nespresso machine. The shower had plenty of hot water, water pressure could've been a little better. But otherwise, a great choice for Quebec!

Property is well maintained. The staff were very well mannered and polite. Laurent was very helpful and accommodated our needs. The elevators were a challenge, waiting 20 minutes to take an elevator down to the lobby. the area around the hotel is full of homeless people, therefore walking at night is not recommended.

A great place to stay in Quebec! Check-in isn’t until 4pm, but we arrived at 8:30am after our cruise and decided to pop in and check- our room was ready! Lots of places to eat in the area- there is a coffee shop next door. Our room faced Saint-Roche Cathedral :) Yes, there are unhoused in the area, but I am from San Diego, and unhoused people are a fact of life. Not once did I feel unsafe walking in the area. Alex at the front desk is amazing! He helped us book a Red Bus double-decker tour bus ticket!! So much fun- it’s a hop on hop off deal. Hotel Pur Quebec was clean, associates are friendly and kind, and it is a Marriott owned property, so you know their standards are high!! Great stay in a great hotel- and in a great city :)

Il faudrait revoir votre offre à votre restaurant. On a voulu déjeuner sur place mais on a senti qu’on était pas les bienvenus car le personnel nous offrait de s’asseoir au bout d’une table à l’entrée alors que la salle était vide, on a pas pu commander un petit déjeuner car on nous a obligé de prendre le buffet.
