Well after i had paid for the room when i get there they want another 100 deposit and 12 for parking at the hotel i stayed at. Never had i been charged to park my vehicle i the place i stayed and i was not notified of this until i got there

The hotel was in a sketchy part of town. The pool was actually next door and closed. Very limited breakfast offered. The hotel and rooms need a big update.

I asked for extra pillows in the reservation. They were unable to give them to us; allegedly they do not have extras. I need them as an accomodation for my disability. There was also no elevator anywhere in the building. No second floor for wheelchair users, I guess. There was no breakfast available despite it being advertised online. I think this place is, como se dice, "janky."

The advertisement for the hotel stated they had free parking, they did not, charging $12 per vehicle. They said there was a free breakfast each morning. There was not. The room was adequate, but there was no top drawer in the dresser, the carpet was torn and there were cigarette burns in the comforter in a purportedly smoke free hotel. The outlets were inadequate for the room, with many cords in each outlet. When informed that the tub was slick and we recommended a bath mat or stickers, we were informed that they were not allowed because it was against the rules. Check in was laborious, even though we had prepaid. And the Wi-Fi was sporadic on the day we arrived.

The hotel is pretty worn down and in desperate need of renovations. The location and view of the place is pretty cool so its a shame why they let it go down hill. Ive stayed here before over the years and it was never this bad. The overall feel of the hotel is nasty. The walls are scuffed up and dirty everywhere. The hallways were so hot and stale the ac was just blowing hot air. The carpet has mystery sticky spot in the hallway and in our room. The key card readers to the room and exterior doors didn't work half the time. It was luck if you got it on the first five tries. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable but it was hard to enjoy with everything else that made it gross. The view was great and the AC in the room worked at least. Also no bugs or sign of them. The staff were friendly and helpful. However there was a $10 + tax charge to park in the parking lot per day which is insane to charge your guest to park with no other option. The continental breakfast was a waffle iron and coffee. Bottom line is, if you really need a cheap place to stay and its just you for the night, it would be ok. Just don't take your family here, its really gross for kids to be around. Pay more and go somewhere else.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were clean and comfortable, shower had great water pressure. The pool wasn't open which was a bummer because that was part of the reason i booked this place. Breakfast was limited and by the time I got to the dining area, around 8am, most of the items were gone

The thru website said included breakfast and Self Parking.. No breakfast there was coffee and no cream/milk, $12 Parking fee, lobby’s restroom is dirty and it was locked. The Staff who checked us in was rude, because we asked for the bathroom key & wanted to use the bathroom from a long ride. The room was somewhat clean, the curtains are very gross, and the door to the bathroom wont shut close, there were 3 of us on 2 beds and only have 2 towels and they are too small. Not a nice place to stay

Room was really dirty. Felt like the carpets have never been clean, room never dusted or wiped down. Didn’t have block out curtains so I could see into the parking lot and people in the parking lot could see me. Bathroom smelt must and mildew. Sitting chair had stain all over. Hallway to the room smelt like sweat and kitty litter. Needs a serious remodel due to lack of standard maintenance. Other guest were screaming and yelling at all hours of the night. One argument got so bad I felt like I needed to call the police for the safety of the other guest. Was planning to stay 2 extra nights but after the first night I was looking for another hotel. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

I think overall my issue with the hotel is is that it was poorly maintained. The hallways were dirty in the morning upon leaving there was a used condom on the floor. I have never in my life not even at senior week seen anything like that I will never stay in this hotel again.

The hallways smelled overwhelmingly of urine. They were stuffy, filthy, and marked up in every place possible. There is no water available in the vending machines nor bags for the ice buckets. The ice bucket was visibly soiled with brown. I had to unplug the alarm clock because it was old and making a high pitched noise. I was afraid to stay here and actually started coughing in the night due to the air quality being so awful. Pay a higher price for another option unless you have no other choice.

The Lobby was the nicest part of the building. Everywhere else is need of repairs. Holes in the walls, paint peeling, numerous scuff marks. Room was pretty small, would have been better with only one bed in it. Black out curtain had a hole in it.

We booked a room with a king bed but were “upgraded” to a room with 2 doubles. This was not an upgrade for us since it was not what we wanted. They would not give us a king. There was no breakfast, the hotel’s website says there is a bag breakfast for a fee and hotels.com says they have a free bagged breakfast and show a picture of a breakfast. Lots of miscommunication or misrepresentation.

The hallways smelled like smoke. Wall next to the bed had some sort of large stain. Bathroom had no towels and a broken light switch. No power outlets by the bed for charging phones at night. No fridge in room and the ice machine was empty

The staff were nice,accommodating when asked/ talked to- they switched us to a room after our air conditioning wasn’t working/ they had to put us in a different room after we checked in- we booked originally through Expedia a 3rd party and we had a dog- They should know when we book but did not and then put us in a different room, it was ok to be in- it was just when we arrived they were not aware we had a dog, then after 1.5 hours after turning the air on in the room they put us in, the air it didn’t work- staff accommodated although someone who was possibly the manager was telling me how to turn the air conditioning on properly. Then the room we were in the fridge froze all water and food in there- no dial that worked, then had to throw away, ironing board was stained, room with stains on walls and doors, chairs, then stains on towels, curtains, bedding- items were ripped. Charge for parking as city, only $10 but when talking my dog out at 12am- people park in the lot then are waking to bars, other places, not safe actually to walk outside. I only reported on the air not working then the room card not working- which I had to reset although not near my cell or car keys. I will choose a hotel next time that I researched while there as I will have to go to that area frequently but can not stay at the Hanna Hotel again due to safety and cleanliness.

nice location I perceived staff at the front desk as rather impolite. Later I understood this is probably because I am not used to the rather informal way common in Indian culture. My room had no window directly leading outside. There is one window towards the corridor and the corridor has windows towards the yard. Consequently I felt a bit as if I was living in a cave. I had to keep the anyway pretty dim light on throughout the day whenever in the room. I had to keep the curtons of the window towards the corridor closed all day because otherwise people passing by could see everything in the room. air conditioning: Every room along my corridor had one conditioner exchanging air between its room and the corridor. Then there are a few air conditioners connected to the outside yard. By cooling the rooms the air conditioners heat the corridor. The air conditioners connected to the outside were ony a few, hence the corridor was really hot. All the conditioners run on full power 24/7 because the ones towards outside are too few and the ones for the rooms struggle because the temperature exchange is hard if the corridor is already super hot. The rooms still got quite cold. But you had the constant noise of all those air conditioners running on full power also during night. - loud fridge 24/7; top compartment one solid block of ice; had to unplug fridge and defrost; collected water and cleaned fridge inside and outside with towel as fridge was disgustingly dirty - stains; bugs

Cabinet in room with frig, looks like it was kicked in.Hand rail on stairs difficult to even use. No elevator .Bathtub very slippery, could have fallen. TV picture low level. Remote was sticky- yuck

My room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower had strong water pressure and the microwave and fridge worked great. Everything I needed for my trip. It was a little noisy overnight with people talking in the halls/rooms/outside, but not enough to keep me from sleeping. The cable and Internet went out overnight but that was no fault of the motel. It was Comcast.

We made a next-day reservation, arrived early, and explained that my wife is 37 weeks pregnant and needed rest. The owner refused to let us check in until 3:00 p.m. and showed zero compassion or flexibility. After traveling a long distance, this kind of attitude was completely unacceptable. All staff at this property are exceptional. Truly attentive, friendly and respectful of visitors. I had no problem booking several weeks for a special job assignment. Gorgeous riverfront views met me every morning at their humble but helpful breakfast. Coffee was delicious. Plenty of hot running water for showers. Cable tv to enjoy in the evening. Great time!

An authentic Harrisburg experience. Shanice at the front desk made the whole stay so enjoyable and comfortable. She gave me great recommendations where to go and what to see. She recommended a great restaurant too. She is a valuable employee here and I hope the staff recognize it because not everyone that works in hospitality business should be doing that job. The view was a great view of the unique bridges that Harrisburg is known for. Comfortable bed and a comfortable night sleep. Convenient location to walk almost anywhere.

The property was really dirty. I checked in and out of rm 151. The door latch was broken in half. The bed sheets had blood & other fluids on them. The bathroom was missing part of the wall. When i complained, the front desk invited me to look at another room. Even though I was sick to my stomach I agreed to try. There was food crumbs on the bed & lotion on the headboard. I barely escaped vomiting when the employee smeared it around. Not sure why she touched it. In any case, Im in a different hotel and city every week, take my word for it. This place is gross.

Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. The two at the front desk that run it are extremely rude and not easy to work with at all. Luckily I booked it through hotels who took care of me cause the hotel did not. I would have been so screwed if I booked with them directly.

We have stayed at this property several times, and it has some nice features, like being right beside the river, with its nice waterfront walk and walking distance to some decent restaurants. It's also reasonable value for its low price. It would be great if the city of Harrisburg could do something to improve the lighting and general security along the river and along Front Street, since the area feels a bit scary at night.

Horrible part of town. Pictures of rooms on the website were deceiving as the room we stayed in had stains or mismatched paint all throughout the room, the toilet in the bathroom leaked and the carpets were wet most of our two day stay. Also, it appears as though majority of the people at this hotel actually live there and were not actually guests.

A two-star hotel, quietly decaying to one-star status. Small signs of decay and deferred maintenance are everywhere. Room was comfortable and well-kept. Not very noisy. No place to eat within walking distance. Adjacent to a nice city park; within walking distance of the baseball stadium. Driving in downtown Harrisburg can be tricky.

There was a charge for parking when the listing said parking was free. The floor in the room was an old filthy carpet. The chair had such a big stain to the point that I was afraid to use it, for anything. The TV was wobbly and unstable. The breakfast was lacking. Not even bread for toast or bagels. Just waffles, 2 cereals, small yogurts, coffee and only apple juice.

The hotel is pretty worn down and in desperate need of renovations. The location and view of the place is pretty cool so its a shame why they let it go down hill. Ive stayed here before over the years and it was never this bad. The overall feel of the hotel is nasty. The walls are scuffed up and dirty everywhere. The hallways were so hot and stale the ac was just blowing hot air. The carpet has mystery sticky spot in the hallway and in our room. The key card readers to the room and exterior doors didn't work half the time. It was luck if you got it on the first five tries. The room was ok and the bed was comfortable but it was hard to enjoy with everything else that made it gross. The view was great and the AC in the room worked at least. Also no bugs or sign of them. The staff were friendly and helpful. However there was a $10 + tax charge to park in the parking lot per day which is insane to charge your guest to park with no other option. The continental breakfast was a waffle iron and coffee. Bottom line is, if you really need a cheap place to stay and its just you for the night, it would be ok. Just don't take your family here, its really gross for kids to be around. Pay more and go somewhere else.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly, but not incredibly accommodating. The hotel was in an impressive place on the river. I asked for a room facing the river. I was told they couldn't because they were "at 85% capacity". The cars in the parking lot and the number of rooms available was closer to 8.5% capacity. The building itself was at, one time presumably, gorgeous. Perhaps in the 70's...but clearly had it's best times behind it. The restaurant, bar, ballroom, etc were long since closed...perhaps decades since. It looks as such. Despite the previous glory of the hotel grounds itself, it is more on par with that of a "Super 8, Motel 6, etc". The room itself was nice. Also, it wasn't until after I booked that the hotel sent me a message with the notice of a surprise fee of $10/day for vehicle parking on their private lot...which aforementioned had plenty of empty space.
