Very nice place!

Lack of beverages available in room. Too few

This place is one of the most unique experiences you can have as a tourist. It blends traditional Korean architecture with modern conveniences. Everywhere you turn, you can see and feel the beauty of authentic Korean tradition. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the staff are warm, pleasant, and professional. Definitely would bring my family and friends again!

I did not have breakfast. Room far too hot. Staff could not help; told me to wait once the floor heating was turned off. Explained I had done so a few hours earlier & it hadn't cooled. Just shrugged & left. No concierge help getting luggage to taxi on leaving. Staff were always polite but utimately not helpful. Have stayed in other hotels where staff were proactive with any problems - e.g. a fan was brought to my room and set up for me when temperature could not be adjusted. Unimpressed with '5 star' rating. No instructions or information in room as to wifi access or how anything worked, including tv.

GREAT location in a traditional hanok village, adjacent to the enormous Central Park, also a short walk from the Central Park subway station. The deluxe double room i got happened to be accessible and was huge: it had a sitting area, a desk and chair tucked away in a nook, even a patio. Solid amenities like a water dispenser in the room, nespresso machine, drinks in the minibar included. Very comfortable bed equipped with both firm and soft pillows. The cypress tub was a unique perk, like having a personal onsen. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. I didn’t get to try the breakfast and peeked into the “gym” that was half storage room/staging area for the meeting room next door where breakfast was held. I’m not sure anyone could actually use the equipment since they were mostly blocked by other stuff. (Didn’t matter to me but might be important to other guests)
