Nice hotel. One universal Electric vehicle charger- level 2. I was lucky enough to be able to use it. They should add more ev chargers. shuttle will drive you to shops. Bar on site. Will stay again.

Fine stay. But if you are located in one of the back rooms, it takes 5-10 minutes to walk from your room to the parking area—and they charge for parking… which should be better advertised. Place is just okay.

Wonderful facility adjacent to Colonial Williamsburg with excellent Fitness center and a spa amenities. Staff was helpful and efficient. Parking was available via a covered walkway and reasonably convenient to our room. I’d definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel, very clean, well maintained. Great location to the colonial historic district. The hotel had 2 restaurants that were very hard to get into and prices were high. Reservations are a must. No free breakfast is offered with this hotel which is a turn off for me. I was also very turned off with the hotel charging $25 per night for parking. You have no other option, so you have to pay it. It’s a classic hidden fee that hotels like to hit you with. This is a very nice upscale hotel in a convenient location, but you pay for it. Next time, we are going to look for better value.

Room was comfortable and staff was friendly. Hotel is decorated nicely. Vibe is hard to read .. very quiet and not a lot to do, but there is a bar downstairs you can get drinks and food at. Walls are thin you can hear everything in the room next to you and in the courtyards it echoed. We played at the green golf course which was really beautiful. The room was nice but could have been cleaner. Tub was not clean grout was dirty and there was a beer car tab on the carpet when we came in so they didn’t vacuum. Pool is across the street and closes early. There is no fan in the bathroom so ceiling is peeling. They are very friendly and it’s a nice pace if you are looking for a calm peaceful hotel. We had a nice stay.

Room was in need of renovation. Paint coming off the walls, furniture banged up, carpet stained, stains on the wall, light fixtures not working, horrible. The lodge used to be so nice, this was worse than an interstate motel. We will not return. Disappointed and shocked.

Hotel is quite nice on the exterior, but the rooms are in need of a good cleaning. Especially in the bathrooms there is much need for an update. Location was perfect and enjoyed the walking distance from all surrounding activities.

I would give you 5 stars all the way across the board, but the chair, and toilet paper roll holder in our room were broken. I made the front desk aware within minutes of us being in the room, and it was never addressed. There were also carpet tacks coming up through the ripped carpet by the door. My only other recommendation would be lights in the dog walk area at night. That path is super hard to navigate even in the day time. We LOVED the staff, the convenience, and the ambiance of the property.

To say we were underwhelmed would be an understatement. This was our first stay at the Lodge. The buildings are beautiful. Once in the room, you would never know you were in such a nice hotel. It was as plain and ordinary as most budget hotels. Very disappointed!

I stayed in the South Guest House. The hotel was beautiful, the people are friendly, and the resturant is actually very good. The only issue I would have is that in the South Guest House sound carries throughout the rooms. Part of that is because they have beautiful old hardwood floors that creak when people walk. But even the sound of morning alarms and the tv is pretty audible through the walls. If you are a light sleeper, the South Guest House might not be for you. Otherwise it is lovely. The pools and Spa are awesome. The hotel is located in a great area whether you want to drive or walk to local historic buildings or do some shopping.

I chose the lodge because of the location near colonial Williamsburg and the William and Mary campus. The location is great but the room was poor. It was very small, especially the bathroom which had no counter and poor lighting. The floor of the bedroom had very squeaky floor boards. I could hear people walking around on both sides and I am sure they could hear me. Also, I was charged $30 per day parking which I was not expecting.

Property is very much in need of a renovation. I was very disappointed, had I known how run down it was I would have stayed elsewhere- for the price I paid I could have had a much more luxurious property. Also- I am a Marriott member - I had to move rooms because the first one reeked of cigarettes and was not on the property/ it was a separate part far away. When I requested a room change due to smoke and vicinity I was told I had to pay $75 additional. I would have thought they would have treated me better seeing how often I travel and use Marriott properties.

The location is perfect for exploring Colonial Williamsburg. We walked with no problem, but there is also a free bus service if you need it. The surrounding area is quiet, but the rooms are NOT soundproofed at all. We were saying God bless you when the people next door sneezed. The food was decent, but not spectacular, and very overpriced (expected for hotel dining). Front desk staff were great!

I’d love to say all good things about this property, however, a very large and raucous party was in the room that adjoined ours (it was a hospitality suite/king suite). It went on and on until the wee hours of the morning. Despite several calls to the front desk they really did nothing to break it up. Just one time reminding them it was quiet hours. Needless to say we were so exhausted the next day it really ruined our weekend. They never should have put us next to that room which they admitted they knew it was a wedding party event.

The Williamsburg Lodge gave us great service. I would especially like to call out the service of Hannah at the front desk who ensured we got a handicap accessible room for my father. The food onsite was good both for dinner and breakfast. We had great servers: Ryan and Aretha. The onsite gift shop was very convenient and had great choices for Williamsburg memorabilia. Also onsite is a bus stop for the Colonial Williamsburg bus that is handicap accessible. We used this to get around with my dad who used a scooter. Only one recommendation: the doors are heavy for handicap/those using mobility devices. If the doors can all have working buttons that automatically open the doors, this would be very helpful. Will come again!

The location was the best! Everything is within walking distance. The lobby smelled amazing! The staff was very professional from the front desk to our cleaning person and accommodating. The hotel and room resembles the colonial Williamsburg feel. The only complaint would be others who were checking in late( a huge family) were slamming doors and talking in the hallways really late. Also the water in the shower was not that hot. We would stay again.

The hotel is very dated. The room was fine, but for what I paid I felt the hotel could have offered more. I have stayed in the Lodge in the past as well as the Inn, and next time I will definitely stay at the Inn. The staff was quite friendly, but also lacking in nattention to details. Such as making sure I had assistance with my bags, parking my vehicle. There is no valet parking at this hotel, and I found that to be strange.

when we checked in, the lady at the front desk made a weird comment about booking through a 3rd party. I had asked if we could use my Marriott points and she REALLY made a point about saying no, because of the 3rd party. Ok... not a big deal, I've experienced that before and I continue to use Hotels.com. Sometimes a staff person will figure out a way to get you a perk or two, but really, it's fine. Moving on... then I told her that we had stayed in the same hotel last year and the booking included Colonial Williamsburg park passes, and asked if that was included with my reservations. AGAIN she mentioned that because we booked with a 3rd party there was no way that would happen. At first I wasn't going to say anything, but the way she kept saying it I felt compelled, so i simply said, well, that's weird, because I KNOW I booked with Hotels.com, because I always do, so maybe there was something different or maybe it was just included in the package? She insisted that there was NO way that would happen and kept saying blaming everything on the fact that I booked through a 3rd party. It was just WEIRD. to the point that my sister who overheard the conversation kept making a joke every time something went wrong at the hotel - it was probably because they knew we booked through a 3rd party. lol. Will we ever go back there? yes. it's a great hotel. Will I continue to book thru Hotels.com? yes. but was that lady a bit odd and off putting? definitely YES.

The staff at this property was awesome, we stayed one night and enjoyed dining in with music in the hotel restaurant. We also enjoyed breakfast the next day at the hotel. My mom was having trouble with stability/walking and they loaned us a wheelchair which was a lifesaver. We will be back again soon!

The Williamsburg Lodge is located right in the middle of Colonial Williamsburg. We walked everywhere and didn’t have to use the car for 3 days. It is an older hotel but that is what gives it the cozy historical charm.

The location is great! Walking distance to colonial Williamsburg. Grounds pretty and clean . Staff very welcoming. Shout out to Eryka at front desk. I came in frazzled after a long drive and she was calm and welcoming and so helpful. She also watched out for my daughter who was arriving late that night. So appreciate her . Her kindness started off our trip in a positive way.

This is supposed to be an autograph collection hotel. Was very dissapointed with the room for the amount of money they charged a night. It looked like a dorm room and tiny vanity. We will never stay again. And the food got me sick so had to leave early and the management was not even accommodating or sympathetic to our needs.

We stayed 2 nights in January 2025. The hotel is fine except the heating system didn't seem to respond to the thermostat so it was too hot. No breakfast included so that was a negative. Also for dinner there is only one restaurant open and it is more bar than restaurant.
