The Hotel Grounds were very nice and had a tropical feeling. Clean pool and our room very comfortable. Outside furniture/umbrellas (pool and rooftop) a bit shabby though (cushions ripped,old,stained) The pool area should have more lounge chairs than "Bali beds" They take up too much room around the small pool area. All in all, a nice stay and would stay again.Thanks!😎👍🌴 🌺🌞

We liked the pool area,the smell of rhe hotel was pleasant. Thank goodness it wasn't Fabuloso!! Bed was comfy. People were nice and helpful. Elevator broke our 2nd day there so it was difficult to get to our room on 3rd floor. I had a recent goot surgery and my husband hip replacement. So that was hard to do. We will be back to Miami in Feb 2026 and we would like to stay here again 2 rooms for 3 nights. Would it be possible to get a discount for that trip becaise of the elevator situation?

This hotel has been mostly renovated and in fact, they are still working on areas but what they have done is top notch! - The only complaint is the pictures show a roof top patio accessible to all but it was not finished - so access was. denied. Great location!!!!!!! Great pool area/outside patio area.

I travelled with family and we found the rooms to be spacious and comfortable. The beds and bedding were solid, and air conditioning worked like a charm (essential in Miami). Also appreciated the valet parking option, though it’s a bit pricey.

Property seems to be in transition. Tv, shower, lack of hot water, filtered water machine all broken. Gym equipment broken and not cleaned. A/c worked intermittently.

The place wa relatively clean the location was amazing. The gym is not good at all . They have a small refrigerator located inside the closet and it only stays on for 2 hrs then you have to restart it. The bed was comfortable. Its very minimal. No bar no food no restaurant in the location. It did its job but i would not stay there again. The place has amazing potential with a better management cre but it was ok.

This was our 2nd time staying here. First time under the “new management”. Location is amazing. Close to everything. All amenities of this hotel were closed which was disappointing. We had a property manager walk into our room while we were both still in bed. Our room had a beautiful view of the construction trash. Pool is perfect, loved hanging with the lizards running around the garden. The cabanas could use some TLC, the cushions are ripped, smelly, and have seen better days. Lots of construction during the day and the workers were extremely loud. Location was perfect, highly recommend the 11th Street Diner across the street.

Love the property itself, beautiful curb appeal. Right beside the police station, so felt very safe. We had too much planned to hang by the pool, but it looked dreamy. Super convenient to walk to the beach, food, ride bikes etc. The staff was very kind and helpful. Parking was kind of a pain. But I think that’s just general for the area. They have valet service for $45 a night, which would have been nice, but the cross streets were shut down the whole time we were there, so we had to walk a block or so to pick up and drop off the car. Only real complaint was the cleanliness of the room. It seemed like it was half cleaned. The bed was fresh and the bathroom had been wiped down, clean towels etc. but the floor was so dirty, our socks were brown with hair and dirt almost immediately. And the toilet had something on the seat we had to clean off ourselves. We should have asked for an additional clean, but you have to request it though the app and we forgot until we would get back to the room.

Isabella and staff were great. Stayed in Taft building first floor and inside my room. The floor was dirty. My bare feet turned black clearly there is no mopping that happens in that room. And also a microwave should be available.

Photos were cropped and saturated in a way that made the property look much newer and more luxurious than it actually was. Furniture in common areas seemed worn and dirty, old building, people slamming doors and neighbors stomping around above us, weird overpowering citrus scent in all the hallways and AC and elevator were broken.

The hotel is really dirty and you don’t get cleaning in our room unless you ask for it 3-4 times. It says on the webside there is daily cleaning but in the reception they say its every 3 days. Which is okay if it was true. But it’s not. We had to ask 3-4 times to get cleaning. And we stayed for 11 night and only got 2 “cleanings”. And when they finally come and clean, they don’t change the sheets only makes the bed and take out trash. They don’t clean the bathroom, floor or anything. Really bad for the price.

Super dirty hallways and rooms. They don't clean the room unless you request it. Staff is not helpful. The whole place runs on a mobile app. Pool area is nice though. I suggest choosing a different hotel for your stay in SB.

The bedroom was soaked with water during a storm, also the wall in between our bedroom and the neighbours was soaking wet. We complained at the reception and they didn’t send any maintenance or neither they changed the bedroom

Large clean rooms. Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room would benefit from draws to store your cloths in. No house keeping unless you ask for it. Walk in shower flooded the bathroom bedroom area as it only had a curtain not a glass partition. We were put in a room with a connecting door which we didn't like because it gave no privacy at all. We could hear every single sound from our neighbours. Very disturbing.

Lovely location. Good convenient and walkable beach distance hotel. I stayed 7 days, not even 1 we had Wifi, internet, cable tv. We ask many times to fix or a solution and nothing. Very good hotel with no minimum service as internet and cable tv. Hello it's 2025!

The location is excellent and all within walking distance. Good windows so noise from outside. Room was large, but basic enough. Comfortable bed. Wardrobe was large, but not enough shelving (also lacked lighting in the wardrobe space). The outdoor furniture needs a good clean (tables and chairs). Overall nice property, but pricey...

The rooms feel like you're staying in a tent with an attached porta-potty its so small. You get one small desk & that's all the counter space you get. Not even in the bathroom. I had to close the toilet lid & put a towel down to use that as counter space as I got ready. The bathroom was so small as well. Can't access the towels unless you close the door. Also so air circulation in the bathroom, not a fan or a window for smells or shower steam. If you're staying alone then it's ok, but more than one person is going to be too snug

AC is very noisy. Room is small and feels old. Shower is small Room are poorly isolated so very noisy at night from people coming back from clubs. Swimming pool small. The only positive aspect is the location for me and it was cheap.

The check in was horrible. First the receptionist gave me a room that was occupied and When I opened the door, the guests yell at me. When I went back to the receptionist, she offered me a room in the 3rd floor walk up, because the elevator was broken . Finally gave me a room smaller than what I paid for. No cleaning during my stay and no cleans towels. Horrible service

The location is good! The room is clean. The staff at the front desk did not help us much like other hotels we stayed previously! They couldn’t even help us to call a local restaurant we have booked to let the restaurant we were going to be late. They don’t have a lot of services! Just very basic! Not delivering the promise they made for us to decorate our room specially for my daughter’s birthday!

One of the worst hotel stays. There was a piercing beeping sound in the lobby of the building throughout the entire stay of a week (a business trip no less), which was never resolved. It could be heard in our room at all times (which was actually at the end of the corridor -- felt so sorry for those closer), so we needed to run the window unit fans all night to try to drown it out. It was maddening. Further, our requests for housekeeping, replenishing of necessities, and even hangers (which we requested upon arrival), went unanswered the entire stay. Requests were made via the app, but also in-person at the main lobby. It got to the point that we just gave up. I don't understand this business model. It was bizarre, uncomfortable, and frustrating.
One of the worst hotel stays. There was a piercing beeping sound in the lobby of the building throughout the entire stay of a week (a business trip no less), which was never resolved. It could be heard in our room at all times (which was actually at the end of the corridor -- felt so sorry for those closer), so we needed to run the window unit fans all night to try to drown it out. It was maddening. Further, our requests for housekeeping, replenishing of necessities, and even hangers (which we requested upon arrival), went unanswered the entire stay. Requests were made via the app, but also in-person at the main lobby. It got to the point that we just gave up. I don't understand this business model. It was bizarre, uncomfortable, and frustrating.

Poor housekeeping. Booked a 6 night stay at this hotel, requested for housekeeping on my second night of stay for the following day. Housekeeping came on the THIRD day after I put in a request. Horrible. Went to the front desk to inquire about the situation, and all they did was offer me clean towels. Will not be coming back due to lack of cleanliness.

I was excited to stay here because of the great South Beach location, but my experience was truly disappointing. Check-in: No front desk staff, only a security guard who gave me my room code without checking ID, credit card, or signature. Huge safety concern. The property is beautiful and chic. Lots of native wild life to see. Gives you the sense of being in a mini resort. Perfectly located. South beach is a 5 min walk. Supermarkets, restaurants and the most amazing bakery, just a few mins walk. Highly recommend!

Convient location, only a couple blocks from the beach. Quiter and safer than many other places I have stayed at in South Beach. Very nice pool and spacious outdoor area with lots of chairs and tables. Water/Ice stations in each building were a nice plus. Room itself was good, average size and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

This property is within walking distance to the beach, food, options, bars, and nightclubs. I love the overall ambience of this hotel. It has a the Art Deco look. The patio area has a swimming pool and a lot of tables and chairs to relax outside. My room was very clean and spacious. You have the choice to pay for daily room cleaning, or not. The valet parking was a convenience for my car rental being that parking in that area would have been a challenge otherwise. The staff was very friendly and there is always somebody at the front desk 24 hours a day. This will definitely be my go to Hotel when I return to Miami.

The area is beautiful and the location is perfect. The hotel offers great access to both a well-equipped gym and a clean, relaxing pool. Cleaning is terrible. My sister accidentaly dropped coffee in the room on the first day and we had to ask 3 times during 2 days to have the room cleaned. Second day, When I asked to the recepcionist in the evening that the room whas not cleaned, she told me she cold not do anithing and she had nothing to do with that (sic). How do you say this to your guest? If I she could not help me so who should?? Besides the cleaning is every 3 days! How is possible to be in 3 people in a room in a beach hotel, which is supposed to be dirtier than usual, be cleaned in a frequency of 3 days! Until the thrid there was a huge death bug at the corritor when I arrived and it was there until the day I left, as I was there for 5 days! Which means it was not cleaned at all. Breakfast is very limited, only 2 people per room, others have to pay for it. Acoustic is bad, I hear everything people are doing in the other room, so not easy to rest. Rooms are large and beds comfortable, but that is it. No hotel should have basic problems like that, no matter the cost. For the price it does not whort it, to expensive for what it offers. I belive it is possible to find better hotels for the same price.

This hotel was very underwhelming. It was not dirty so I decided to stay. But it is not what the pics/reviews show it to be. The dining area is shut down; I was told the cook was “off” but it was clear it’s totally out of commission. I was told there is no elevator when in fact there is an elevator, again must be out of commission bc a luggage rack was in front of it my entire stay. So guests had to drag their luggage up/down stairs. The hotel has dingy worn out carpet. At check in, the attendant gave me the code to my room on a sticky note. No room keys. Just a sticky note & vibes smh. I was so thrown off LOL. If it wasn’t for the cleanliness and the nice staff I would’ve made a fuss and left. The best part was the quietness and the pool. Will not be staying here again but again: at least it was clean!

Loved the Sonder! It was nothing fancy, but SUPER solid for the price. And the drinks/food are not over priced and good, loved the daily happy hour! Room was small but clean. ALLL of the staff was so kind and helpful. I loved that we had a code and didn't have to deal with the room key.

The staff here are incredible, and I had such a fabulous time with my fiancé for our first time on vacation together in Miami. We already miss the Sonder and loved the restaurant which has incredible coffee and breakfast (I highly recommend the avocado toast). The room was spacious and relaxing, and it was always nice sightseeing and then going back to the hotel to unwind at the beautiful pool.

The place wa relatively clean the location was amazing. The gym is not good at all . They have a small refrigerator located inside the closet and it only stays on for 2 hrs then you have to restart it. The bed was comfortable. Its very minimal. No bar no food no restaurant in the location. It did its job but i would not stay there again. The place has amazing potential with a better management cre but it was ok.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from my room was beautiful, the pool was great, and everything was very clean. The staff came every day to clean and organize my room, which I really appreciated. The location is perfect—only about 5 minutes from South Beach, close to CVS, cafés, restaurants, and even a great bakery. Everything was very convenient. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the pool beds If those were updated, everything would be perfect! I highly recommend this hotel and I’ll definitely be back next year. Thank you so much to the entire staff for the great service! ❤️
