Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth

Liked the front desk staff - they worked it so that my family could have adjacent rooms. Appreciated. Would like to have had either of the computers in the business office work.

Clean and friendly staff spacious rooms bar is closed for winter season

I expect more from a Hilton. The customer service is exceptional, but the rooms are less than desirable. Missing shade, poor quality bedding, improper working door keypad and blind controls as well as limited tv service. There was no bar to use and food was only available 1 morning. The worst was the pool. They have the dirtiest and worst pool I’ve seen in many years of traveling. The lounge is nice as are many features, but I wouldn’t recommend this location and I’ll be unlikely to use a Hilton again for business or personal use again. This was the least desirable stay I’ve had in many years. The staff were fantastic, but that only goes so far and I wish them well.

The bed was comfortable. This hotel does not have a bar or restaurant. There was a breakfast available but Fairfield or Hampton has a wider selection (in my past experiences with those hotels.) Room was dated. Lobby was very nice. Free water.

I enjoyed my stay very much. Despite the wifi not being free unless you sign up for a rewards program, I enjoyed the fitness room, the indoor pool, the service as well as the room itself with a very nice view. I will come back.

Had a great warm water pool open early until late which my son with Autism loved. Staff was great, place was clean. Great value for what it is.

Parking was easy. Staff was courteous.

Only problem was the customer computer center was closed due to an inoperative computer. I did not bring a laptop computer since the hotel advertised having a computer available for guests. With no computer access, making our constantly changing travel plan changes was extremely difficult.

The hotel was nice, easy check-in, and the room was decent. My only issue was that the bathroom smelled like mildew and mold, and it had clear water damage on the ceiling. You could see the brown water residue and the peeling chipped paint. I had to spray febreeze just to tolerate the smell.

I booked our stay months ago but never got a notification that the hotel would be undergoing renovations. I was put on the 4th floor, where the hall carpets were mostly ripped up, there were bare lightbulbs hanging put of the sheetrock and there was a terrible odor. I asked to be relocated to another floor, but they said they didn't have another room available. We didn't have time to look for another hotel so we decided to stick it out. The outlets in the room also seemed to be on the fritz. They comped our breakfast, but that was it. I really think that all guests booked during the renovation should have been notified in advance so we could make our own choices on whether to look for other accomodations.

This is the cleanest hotel we've stayed at in a long time. Staff was very professional and friendly.

The room had an odd dirty odor and the bathroom curtains smelled like mold. It was not a good experience.

Holes in furniture Tiles and edges in the hall way and bath fallen apart or cracked There was loud music and talking we could hear even with our tv on some of the night. This lasted until about 5am. My bf and I didn’t get any sleep.

No brainer for families! We are a family of six and found the place to have everything we would need. The room was spacious, facilities were clean and neat, and the staff were attentive and helpful. We highly recommend.

2023 should update to smart TV and remotes made after 1980

Walls are paper thin. Could hear the people next door just talking all night. TV is dated and the window leaked quite a bit causing the floor to be soaked in the immediate area. You could tell it had been an issue ignored for some time due to the damage on the wall just under it. Staff was friendly but flying solo so they had a tough night.

Stayed there for tree days, had no access to the internet/wifi. Big problem when you work online :-/

We stayed one night and it was OK...very overpriced, felt the springs in the bed and you had to PAY for wifi.

Awesome staff! Sara Gray, Marissa, Luke, Bella, Hannah, all so accommodating, efficient, friendly. Check-in was great, room fantastic! I stay here every time I come to Plymouth.

During our stay last Sunday to Wednesday at Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth, we encountered multiple disappointments. When we arrived, the front desk did not have record of our extended reservation through Wednesday, causing confusion at check-in. In Room 213, the thermostat was unresponsive, making the room uncomfortably warm. We reported this the next morning, and were told maintenance would fix it, but nothing was done. The next day, while we were at breakfast, the front desk called asking when we would check out. Again, we explained the stay had been extended. Though they confirmed the reservation was correct in their system, our room was not cleaned that day. Even after requesting housekeeping, we returned to find unmade beds and no clean towels. We had to request towels at the desk ourselves. On checkout day, we planned to have the breakfast we’d paid for, but were told a full breakfast wasn’t available and nothing gluten-free was offered. We left without eating. Staff did offer Hilton points, but it did not offset the frustration. Finally, when departing, only decaf coffee was available. We have stayed at many Hilton properties and have always trusted the brand for comfort and reliability. This experience, marked by repeated apologies but no real solutions, was disappointing. We hope management will take this feedback seriously to improve guest service and prevent these issues from happening again.

My only problem was not enough carts to take luggage to or from room. The desk did call maintenance to try and find them or get more. After about a 1/2 hour I went to desk and just broke down. My husband died 3 months ago and this was first time traveling without him. The 2 women came to my room with me and carried my things to car. This was exceptional customer service.

Wonderful staff and great room, very clean and extremely comfortable.

Vinnie, the evening front desk clerk, is a true and upcoming PROFESSIONAL! His wonderful demeanor truly put a smile on my face. It was a cold & wet evening with a long ride from Logan Intl, of course with a major traffic accident to make things ROUGH while getting here! Again, Vinnie was able to accomodate me quickly, and I was able to relax in a lovely setting in my King room!

The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and gas stations. It is also a 5 minute drive to the historic sites of Plymouth. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed being able to come in and check in with convenience. The staff are friendly and the facility is very clean. I would stay there again. Conveniently located.

The location was behind the Home Depot. It was not fine for a night away but it is not in waking distance from any of the restaurants or breweries.

Everything was fine except breakfast. $11.95 for cereal,breads, & juice or $14.95 for hot buffet.Dishwasher was broken,paper plates,no bowls.Had to use cup for cereal. The same breakfast is free at Marriott or Holiday Inns!!

Staff were very nice and helpful. Disappointed that only a continental breakfast was available on a sunday morning - was looking forward to a restaurant style breakfast, which was advertised as being available. The cook was a no-show apparantly.

We ordered off the breakfast menu and did not choose the buffet All the food was cold and the waitress reply was, “it’s hotel food”

The potatoes could have used some seasoning and perhaps a dairy-free yogurt option. Other than that it was pretty good.

Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Bacon, sausages, home fries, scrambled eggs. Yogurt with fresh fruit and toppings. Bagels and muffins. Well worth the extra $10 per person and didn't have to leave the hotel on a cold morning.
