Best Western Plus Commerce Hotel

good clean safe location with all night security for the parking area

When we checked in, we were told that the room would be serviced every other day. We stayed 7 nights and they only serviced the room once. We were left with full trash cans, no toilet paper, no hand soap. We had to keep calling to request new towels but they did not take the wet ones so also left with a pile of wet towels. For the price of this hotel, there is no excuse for only cleaning the room once in a week. Also, parking is very limited and view was of a burned out Dennys. Do better Best Western!

We had a very comfortable stay. I like the gym- all the equipment are working and there’s water and towel.

The property is really clean. The facilities are great. The TV system was updated whilst we were here and that has increased the channels. There is a gym and heated outdoor pool. Breakfast has been great, busy but we always managed to get seated. The area is a commercial one and there can be noise. The air con in the room is incredibly noisy but I slept with it on

From check in to check out, we had a great stay. The hotel was very clean and smelled great when you walked in, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of space in the lobby to lounge or get some work done. The cleanliness continued in the rooms. Our beds were very comfortable and even though our window faced the freeway, we didn’t hear a lot of noise or bothered by any lights. We didn’t even notice any extra noise so that was amazing. Also, the shower had lots of extras available and has great water pressure. We had an incident with our bathroom faucet, and the maintenance staff operated very quickly and changed it out for us without hesitation to ensure we wouldn’t have any future problems. We were blown away by their quick action to replace the faucet and didnt have any issues the remainder of our stay. The breakfast area had a great selection and there was even a coffee station that had mochas/lattes etc. The selection changed daily which was very nice for us staying the week. I also have to give a special acknowledgment for the on site security. We had some late nights returning to the hotel and the security was in the parking lot at all times and made us feel very safe to park and walk to the entrance. Didn’t catch his name, but the security guard was so helpful.

This may not be something for Best Western to do, but the burned property of Denny's needs to be rebuilt or torn down. Xiomara was a wonder hostess! The bed was comfortable and the swimming pool was perfectly heated for a morning swim.

The hotel room was great, but we did not get the room key becuz the front desk told us the machine was down, cannot generate the room key for us, very inconvenience as we need to staff walk us to our room every time to open the room door for us. EV charger in the parking lot was broken and not working, the faucet at the sink in our room was broken (it cannot turn off once you turn it on, very challenged when u see the water is running and u can’t turn it off), the building look nice, free breakfast was great but then the hotel do need some work done.

It was a good stay, my only complaint will be that the pool towels provided are too small. They are small kid size, it was perfect for my 3 year old but for my 9 year he needed two towels so just imagine for an adult.

The free breakfast options were great. It was nice and quiet Allowed early check in for a few (much appreciated) There was only 1 operational elevator The bathroom door would block the entrance. The TV would always go back to " no signal" we would have to manually change it on the TV

The hotel was very clean smelled very well. My only Issues is that they don’t come even if you ask to clean your rooms are change the lien we had to ask for fresh towels even tissue a few times ! My issue was the lake of concern when it came to cleaning the rooms. Other than that our stay was great breakfast was fresh every morning.

Staff were great. Unfortunately, there is a burnt out Denny’s from a fire earlier in the year. The washroom toilet was not clean when we entered the room. Breakfast was okay, not a lot of fruit selection.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a long list of items offered with the dining area large and bright. The air freshener could be muted a bit. Overall, this hotel is a thumbs up!👍👍👍

the room door does not open easily

The customer service was great. The place felt safe and it was really clean. The only bad thing, was that my rooms AC was super loud. It sounded like you were turning on a big truck. The noise would come on and off throughout the night. I did say something and maintenance came and fixed it but the sound was still as bad. My sleep kept getting interrupted by it so that was the only downside. The rooms are also pretty small, like tiny small.

The room was nice and the staff were friendly however, the air conditioner did not work. I told the front desk and they were going to send maintenance which never came. Upon departure, I notified the front desk again so that the next person won't be suprised the AC wasnt working.

Breakfast included was excellent. This drew us to the hotel as we have a family of 4. Road traffic on freeway side was noisy but tolerable. Our previous trip was on other side of building and excellent.

Internet is terrible. If you need to work or do any video calls dont stay here. it has been a long time since i stayed anywhere with internet so slow. its a shame because everything else is good. service is good, breakfast, localization. but no internet

The beds are probably some of the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel. Other than that it was pretty standard, nice staff and check in/check out was quick.

Stayed here before. This time was just as good as last time. Nice clean rooms, very comfy beds, nice breakfast room & tasty breakfast options. Front desk staff are always friendly & welcoming. All around a good experience!

Customer service was great! Accommodating, rooms were clean. Beds were so comfortable. We usually rv for the reasons of previous hotel stays. I recommend this particular Best Western due to location and easy access to freeway.

The hotel claimed that it didn't have our second reservation for my son's room. Hotel clerk said reservation was cancelled. I didn't cancel the reservation and neither did Expedia. They charged me for a new reservation the next day for a much higher rate. They were totally unsypathetic and very rude. Stay away from this hotel.

Reasonable price, staff inefficient

The hotel is located beside a busy crossing. On the hotel area is a Denny's restaurant which is completely burned down. Five meters beside the hotel! We arrived two hours early at the hotel. No friendly welcome, only " We have an early check-in fee". Ashley is her name. We left again for the two hours .. Swimming pool was out of order. We chose this hotel because of that. Our kids love swimming. Nobody warned us. Hotel rooms and specially the bathrooms need a serious renovation. Leaking taps which hardly work. The only friendly person was the lady of the breakfast restaurant. When we checked out Ashley was at the reception again... "Checking out?" Was the only sentence she could think of. Ashley doesn't belong in a hotel.

Great staff. Check in was easy

Robbed my bank account for 217$ for NO REASON. These crooks didnt even have the courage / decency to return the phone calls made by Expedia, questioning the charges. Ive contacted 4 news stations in Los Angeles & hopefully, they will get an answer.

Amazing customer service!

I’m disputing a 250$ smoking charge that was charged to my credit card! We did not smoke our room! This is absurd and ridiculous! I’m very disappointed and upset about this! Horrible to charge this to us when we know damn well no one smoked nothing in that room.

Property unsafe

Our go to hotel when visiting Los Angeles. Great center location between Disneyland and Universal. Short drive from downtown and Dodgers stadium as well. Staff is always friendly and rooms well maintained.

Staying in Los Angeles is pricey and you have to be ready to get charged for things (like parking) that you may not get charged for in other places. This hotel offered far more services without extra charges, had free parking, was clean, the grounds appeared secure, even though it is in more of an industrial type neighborhood. It wasn't immediately accessible to I-5, but close enough to get to it and leave without a lot of hassle. Staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast was ample and staff kept it well-stocked during breakfast hours.

Easy access to the freeway

This place looks exactly like their photos! Breakfast was great and spacious and the staff were friendly and welcoming! The hotel is just prime location with Am/pm right across the street and direct access to the freeway! Shopping centers close! We stayed here for my daughter’s soccer tournament.

Free parking and free breakfast are good, but it is far away from major tourist sites.

Nice Hotel, clean and comfortable. The breakfast area gets really busy and not well kept. The busyness is most likely duevto cruisers coming and going.

Nice Hotel. I would stay again. The only problem we had was with our Air Conditioner would not go below 71 and seemed a little run down. One of the best breakfasts I had in a hotel

My experience at this hotel was wonderful. Easy check in, SUPER FRIENDLY staff, great parking. The entire hotel smelled great, the rooms were remodeled and cleaning service was provided every day. I spent 4 days on vacation and it was convenient, all the popular places are about 30 minutes away. The best of all was the breakfast, and the two ladies who served us were very friendly and helpful. These are just a few words. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay an exceptional destination.

Most of the staff were very friendly and approachable. It was also a clean facility with good quality food and coffee.

This has been the worst Best Western we have Ever been too. Everytime I turned on the television it would say no signal and a staff member needed to come. On the second trip we had to wait more than 2 hrs and no body showed up at all. The breakfast was too salty so we ate the cereal, egg and waffles instead. Please fix the tvs and breakfast, beside that our stay was manageable.
