One of THE most beautiful hotels I have stayed at!! The location, the service, the check in/ check out convenience,the spacious room, the enormous balcony - the only one thing that was slow was the elevator -but legit cannot wait to stay there over and over again And I didn’t even get to how absolutely gorgeous the beach was 🙌🙌🙌 stunning !

Great location. Go to near by publix then park your car and walk remaining days of vacation. Nice beach with rental loungers. Pool closes at 9. Too early. Sould be 1000 or 1100 pm

Beach view was amazing. Half way through our stay the only elevator was closed for repairs to the floor and did not reopen the remainder of our trip. We were not told anything or asked if this was a hardship for us. We struggled with the stairs and when we asked were told every time it would be open in the morning. It was still closed when we left and had to carry all our luggage down the stairs. We were disappointed that no one ever asked if we needed help.

The only thing that was negative was the pool and hot tub closing at 9:00. Most places ive been to usually close at 10:00 pm or 11:00 pm.

We had another nice stay at Barefoot. Love the pool, the beach, the office staff, and the walking distance to John's Pass. The parking situation remains tough with most of the spaces being very tight. It would be nice to have the pool heated. The rooms are good, though it's a shame the main building on the beach doesn't have enough space for 2 queens. And like all of the other hotels, the resort fee sucks.

Our room was not clean upon checkin. I went to the front desk and she had someone come up and clean. Floors dirty, dirty washcloth under sofa bed. No hot water. Which she had someone come up to fix.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a beautiful property with updated rooms, very quiet too! The view from our premium room was amazing, The floors could have been a little cleaner, and one of the bathrooms had some feces on the wall & toilet that could have been cleaned better, they were small and easy to miss, but still should have been cleaned. And even though there are signs everywhere that you can't smoke or vape on property, we did have somebody smoking on their balcony. The staff did everything they could help find the culprits but they were being sneaky. Other than that it was an amazing stay. We will probably be back!

Asked for help from front desk to blow up air mattress and was to ld they would get ahold of me.got no response . Woke up on the 4thmorning to baby cockroaches in my bathroom. Never again will I stay here. I don't go on vacation to have to worry about taking critters home tomyhouse thank you.That is not a good vacation to me that is discusting.

The Barefoot Beach Club is in an amazing location on the beach and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room had an amazing view of the beach! They found a wine bottle opener and brought it to the room for us. However, the hotel needs some TLC. The ceiling fan was caked with dust and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The concert floors where we entered the hotel were previously painted and it was chipped and worn, in desperate need of fresh paint. The elevator was dirty and the rug was long overdue for cleaning.

Beautiful view from the balcony! Great spot for morning coffee and evening refreshments. Slight musty smell in room but perhaps that is to be expected in Florida. The utensil tray was stored in the microwave which I overlooked at first. Found one knife in that tray that had peanut butter on it. Other than that, the room was really cleaned and updated.

Elevator was out when I left to checkout but I was only on 2nd floor so not a big deal but I’m pretty sure I saw a cockroach in the morning and then a huge dead one in the track of patio door . Other than that staff was very nice and the pool was nice. Great walking distance to John’s Pass and places to eat .

We truly enjoyed our getaway at Barefoot Beach Club. Room was spotless when we arrived and everything looked brand new, which maybe it was! Staff were very accommodating. Some renovations were still in progress, but they didn’t affect our stay. One of the staff members told us the pools were full of sand after the hurricanes, so wow, they really worked hard to get the place ready for spring break time! Loved the pools and the beach, of course! Lots of pool chair availability and optional shade. The hot tub wasn’t heating for a day or so, but was fixed within a reasonable timeframe. The roof is an excellent place to watch the sunset. Walkable to abundant shopping and restaurants (our daughter and her friends loved that feature). We stayed on second floor in the 2-bedroom suite area and loved having quick access to the outside via stairs. The elevator seems to take a while. Kitchen was perfect, and we didn’t have to spend money on restaurants because we cooked our own food, purchased at Walmart. The fridge and freezer were huge. Cleaning service came in halfway through our stay (we were there 11 days), which was good for us. Every day, we could “order” supplies such as paper towel, bath towels, shampoo, etc. That was super convenient! Finally, just a note that the TVs in our suite (number 23) are not “smart” TVs, but that wasn’t a big deal to us. The place welcomes families, but we saw mostly adults. We give this place a big thumbs up and I’m sure we will return!

I stayed on the fourth floor in the Queen suite beachfront balcony view. There is a small refrigerator that worked great, a sink and dishes, couch TV area. Bed was comfy. Balcony view was perfect. The pools were nice and you’re literally on the beach. Everybody was super friendly it was a great stay!

Loved the location, as it was within walking distance to John's Pass for shopping and dining options. Also liked the use of the basket system for any supplies, toiletries you may need, instead of the staff coming into your room to fulfill the items. Biggest downfall for us, were the mattresses. VERY firm and uncomfortable, thankfully we were able to nap by the pool and on the beach. Would still recommend for a long weekend getaway

This was our first time at Barefoot Beach Club and it won’t be our last. Our room was very clean and stocked well with toiletries, towels and starters in the kitchenette. The beach was awesome and easily accessible. The pool area was very nice and readily available and the grill area was terrific! First time ever in all our years travelling where the grills were cleaned! Our only complaint was that it was clearly marked that the property was smoking and vaping free but sadly there were guests that disregarded those rules. We would have liked the staff to enforce the no smoking/vaping rules.

My family and I had an amazing stay. When we checked in we were greeted by a really sweet young lady. Check in process was easy and I live that you can opt in to have your room key loaded onto a waterproof bracelet. Our studio room was right on the beach and was nice snd clean. The pool was excellent, and all the staff were nice. My son lost his wallet and the Jermey who works there called me and mailed it to us! We will stay here again!

Too many restrictions at the resort. They expect you to wear a wristband while on property so they can track your activities. Won’t be back. The front staff was extremely rude. Won’t be back not worth the money.

Had a great experience at Barefoot Beach Club...they were very accommodating as our flight was early. We got there and they held our bags offered us a changing area to get into our bathing suits and pool keys..we were able to get that whole day in. They also got us into our room 2 hours prior to check in. I will definitely be back.

They also got us into our room 2 hours prior to check in. I will definitely be back.

This was great place to stay for our family for SB. Great location with easy access to Johns Pass and right to the beach. Beautiful views. Reason for no 5 star due to us calling months in advance for a crib for our child and they overbooked cribs when we arrived. Luckily they made it right and went out to rent a crib so our kid had a place to sleep. Highly recommend this place.

Location is great but as others said the rest is to be desired. The clientele especially on weekends is pretty loud and level of intoxication is high. The property itself has a feel of a motel. I did like their model of a basket replacing towels and other toiletries every morning. Being on the beach is super super convenient and the beach is great. Lots of dining options within walking distance. The hotel did charge us full price for the stay after we prepaid through Expedia in full and it took some time to get the money back. Watch out for that as they charged me on the first day of my credit card cycle with my luck and I haven’t noticed for several weeks and took another couple weeks to get a refund.

The Barefoot Beach Club is in an amazing location on the beach and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room had an amazing view of the beach! They found a wine bottle opener and brought it to the room for us. However, the hotel needs some TLC. The ceiling fan was caked with dust and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The concert floors where we entered the hotel were previously painted and it was chipped and worn, in desperate need of fresh paint. The elevator was dirty and the rug was long overdue for cleaning.

I came to this area for some sun and sand and that's exactly what I got. Wonderful pool area (grab your towel early because they tend to run out) and walk out directly to the beach. Lots of restaurants a couple of blocks away. Friendly and helpful staff. I'll definitely be back!

Not sure why others complained about the linens/supplies basket because we loved it. Very preferential to not have other people in your unit every day. Can't wait to see the full renovations and come back again! Definitely a new favorite spot!

We stayed in a pool view king studio. There is a partial view of the ocean from there. The room was clean. Small kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, and sink. We didnt stay inside long enough to watch the small tv because the beach, pool, and hot tub were right there! So many restaurants within walking distance. All the staff were extremely friendly. One thing I wish we knew sooner was the rooftop viewing area. Best views of the sunset from there!

Nice hotel right on the beach. Had a hotel with a balcony Beach view and it was great. Hotel was nice clean. Great restaurants to walk to and John's pass is down the street. Over all wonderful time.

We had a really great stay! We loved our two bedroom suite very spacious and accommodated our family of six perfectly. The beach was so nice and we found everybody to be very friendly. The pool area is nearly renovated and very enjoyable. The only thing that would make this better is a small convenience store or a place to buy drinks, snacks, and meals.

This beach rental was very clean. Furniture and decor was updated, bright, and fresh. Views from the rooftop deck were stunning of both the sunrise and sunset. Location was very nice right on the beach and just a short walk to shopping and restaurants at Johns pass.

Very nice stay at This hotel. Room was clean and staff courteous and helpful. Wish the amenities included better coffee or vending machines. The area offered plenty of eating establishments like Johns Pass, easy walking distance to all. We had Walmart deliver what we needed or forgot. Will go back here !
