Stayed 1 night

I will never stay there again for many reasons. Not only did they not have simple amenities like plastic cups or a hair dryer, but I have never been so insulted or rudely treated by hotel staff/owner…. and I am a frequent traveler and has stayed at many hotels internationally and nationally. We picked this place as a last resort after our overnight fishing trip was cancelled. The next morning we were to check out but asked if we could either go to the beach or pool and leave our car parked. The lady at the desk said it was ok. We just went to the pool (we were the only ones there). We talked about staying another night as our trip was through Sunday and we didn’t want to move our stuff. Well they were booked so we sat down in the shade to find another place. We were quiet, not doing anything but calling around to find a hotel….we were the only ones around, and the guy at the desk came out and told us that we had to vacate the premises! Said the owner was watching us on the camera and that we were checked out and had to leave! I could see if we were creating a disturbance or if the pool area was full but none of this was true. I have stayed in the area often and it is not uncommon for hotels to let you use their amenities or go to the beach after you have checked out especially if parking is not an issue and it wasn’t in this case. Will never do business there again….ever.

Stayed 2 nights

Negatives-rooms are overpriced, TV’s work intermittently and the guests smoke weed outside their rooms every day. The Positives-the pool area is nice and well equipped with chairs and umbrellas. Overall a decent stay for an overnight but not an extended getaway. Spend a little more and stay across the street.

Very basic, no frills. Clean. Stayed two nights. Sufficient for my needs at the time. Beach access was close. Tip: Book directly through hotel or they charge an extra parking fee.

Stayed 1 night

The room was clean and the guy at the front desk was friendly but we had to pay $15 for parking and there was not any open spots. They did take down a chain to make a spot for us but it was the only spot available. Parking was behind the hotel and we had to drive 2 blocks and down a side street to get to it. The bed was rock hard. I think the floor might have been softer. It wasnt the worst stay we have ever had but it was a little uncomfortable. However, it was cheap and you get what you pay for.
