Best Western Plus, The Inn at Hampton

The only thing we did not enjoy was the pool! Definitely was not a heated pool and looked dirty. Breakfast was amazing and the room was also great! Would stay again if the pool was nicer.

The room was clean and large. Some minor upkeep issues (for example, the desk chair has a loose arm rest and the hydraulic lift would not keep the chair up). The temperature of the pool water was too cold. The equipment in the gym does not appear to be maintained (for example, the cables on the weight machine are stripped and appear that they could snap at any time).

The beds were comfortable and having free parking was a great perk.

The pool needs a good cleaning. The floor of the pool is brown.

This is the second time I have stayed at this motel in the last month for business travel. Rates are too high for this particular motel but it's the busy season in the Seacoast area. Rooms offer shampoo/conditioner/ lotion in the room; two HBO channels are offered on the tv guide; coffee keurig maker was broken this visit as well as the first; Keurig coffee cups are awful; room was clean; towels are decent but thin & it's interesting that 4 bath towels are left but only two hand & two wash cloths so it's an uneven amount. Beds are comfy & an assortment of four pillows on the bed to choose from. My two biggest negatives is light comes into the room from the sides of the drapes due to them not lying flat against the wall when closed & second, the room door is not solid and thick so light from the hall comes I to the room from the sides of the door when shut. Lastly, my room AC unit was not working properly, also customers should have the the option of paying for the breakfast they offer or declining. As it was my room fee included the breakfast but I chose not to eat it. Overall I'd give this motel a 7/10. P. S. , no elevator, only stairs

The pool was great. Super warm...the staff were really nice. From checking in, to the guy at breakfast that was so nice to my family- showing us how to do the waffles, the cleaning lady's . Everyone was just really nice. Great place for the price.

Seems like most of the hotel has been updated, our suite has not been. Fantastic breakfast. Clean and warm pool. Good location. Our room was clean and tidy, but in the older part and it smelled like an ‘old lady’s house’ when we walked into the building, but not in our room. Our 3rd or 4th time staying there in about 12 years.

Hotel was great. Continental breakfast typical. Condition of the hot tub was grimy and needed a deep clean.

Primary problem was that the property advertised an elevator and when we checked in with several pieces of luggage and asked about the elevator we were informed there was no elevator

The room was musty and damp. There was black mold on the pillowcases. The room was also very dark which doesn't help the mold issues. Bathroom was also dirty. Should have listened to what others had written. Breakfast was okay, well stocked.

The property was not cleaned. Dustballs all over the floors, stains on the towels and a slightly greasy film on the furniture. Would not recommend.

Bed skirt had what appeared to be brown spattered stains that could have been coffee or bodily fluids. Comforter had a big stain, and the bathroom smelled of urine. Mirrors and shower were dirty as well. Didn’t even unpack our bags, checked out after 5-10 minutes in the room and booked a different hotel. Was told it was up to the manager if we’d get a refund and he wasn’t there.

We checked in late and when we got to our room it smelled terrible. The air conditioner was also not working. We opened the windows to air it out. We noticed there was a HUGE black mold problem through the room. This included the bathroom. The toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned behind at all. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. We checked out that same night and went to a different hotel. The property didn’t give offer another room or a refund. They also didn’t have enough washcloths or blankets for our room. When we asked for more we were told they were out.

Convenient stay right off route 95 with plenty of parking onsite. They are in the process of remodeling so our room was clean and brand new. Comfy bed, new TV, fridge, and microwave all included. Check in was easy and fast.

This property was a great overnight find. Much much bigger than we anticipated w/the private bedroom and 2 queen beds in the main room. Worked out great, we even got laundry done while kids slept w/o having to keep them up.

Okay i’ve seen a lot of BAD reviews on this place, but let me share my experience for everyone looking to stay at this hotel. I have Goods and Bads. I went to this hotel for 4th of July weekend, and they are currently in the middle of renovation. HOWEVER, i did not hear any noise during the day from the construction, as they place all of their guests in already renovated rooms which are absolutely beautiful. *for note, i stayed in a 1 standard king room*. i am unsure whether the suites are renovated. The amenities and breakfasts are great. everything like a mcdonald’s, shopping center, and mini golf are all within walking distance. It’s not a bad area at all. Now the bads. Keep in mind all of this factors in when you stay. The walls there are paper thin, so expect to hear your neighbors talking. During both nights, car alarms were going off in the parking lot for God knows how long, not the entire night however. I’d say an hour at most. Hotel staff took care of it within a reasonable time. During the night, neighbors were quiet as well, so no noise complaints. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable area to stay in, this is it. Sleek modern design with comfortable furniture. WILL definitely stay here again.

Walls are very thin and can hear everything going on outside and in the rooms around you. Other than that room was clean and staff were nice. Breakfast in the morning was good.

Looks like the rooms near us and area are recently renovated. Love the bathroom, the bed!

The person at the desk did not inform us we had to carry ALL our luggage up 15 steps? I asked about a cart for our luggage, she said there’s one at the end of the hallway, but failed to tell us it’s useless, because there’s no elevator you gotta carry all your stuff up the stairs! The access door to the roof was in our room, then had the unit running on the roof that woke me up at 5 o’clock in the morning!

Really clean and beautifully sized room. Nice renovations in rooms. Breakfast was a 3/5 but the coffee machine in the lobby area saw me at least 4 times. All staff was really nice, breakfast staff were sweet and helpful.

All of the staff was exceptional… very welcoming, polite, professional, helpful and kind… like they were glad to help you. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I’ve been treated so well. It was like the staff actually enjoyed their jobs, and tried to make the guests feel appreciated and welcomed… They actually smiled when they spoke to you.

We did not have any towels after 1st night and room was not cleaned or towels provided for 3rd night. Concerns shared with staff but manager was not available and was going to call. No response from manager to date

It was amazing experience. Place super clean , great location , and breakfast. Employees are great and friendly with us ( Vanessa and David from front desk ) this was our second time and we will be back soon

While conveniently located, this hotel reeks of mildew. The hallways a so pumped with perfume smell that you can barely stand it. When I entered my room I was instantly overwhelmed with a musty stench. Spent the entire night with a headache because of the smell. This place needed a remodel a decade ago. Honestly I could try to look past all of that except my stay began with a rude and hateful desk clerk who treated me (and the customer in front of me) like I was a grand inconvenience in her day. I opted here for convenience and it was slightly cheaper. Next time I will pay the extra $15 and drive a little further to get a decent value for my money.

Wonderful staff. Have stayed there two times, they go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Clean, comfortable stay, convenience to Hampton Beach at an affordable price. Free breakfast is included which is a nice setup. Shopping is also available nearby.

Centrally located to everything around Hampton. Numerous restaurants in the area. Staff is very friendly. Grab-and-go breakfast available. Our room had sufficient space. New refrigerator that is much larger than other establishments. Coffee, TV and microwave in room. We were attending a funeral and it was next too the hotel. I'd stay here again.

Very comfortable and clean room. You could smell the clean when you entered the room. The bed couldve been better, quite firm mattress. Prefer a softer bed. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! Great choices abd everything was hot. Would stay again!

The rooms were new. The shower was a walk in with sliding glass Doors. The TV was big and had over 2000 channels. Just amazing. The best breakfast anywhere.
