Great stay at this hotel. The breakfast buffet is included with your stay and is wonderful! Great shuffle service to/from MD Anderson as well. There are two things I would improve: 1) coffee 24/7 bc some people are on a time change & 2) fix the treadmills....only 1 out of 3 works!!

Clean new hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable, had the best night sleep. Plenty of garage parking. Perfect location and walking distance to NRG Stadium. Food options nearby. Breakfast buffet was delicious, hot meal, fruit bar, yogurt bar etc. Only negative is the wait time for the elevators and having to take one elevator for your guest room and a different elevator for car parking. Reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again. Nice rooftop pool with jacuzzi. Bar and hotel restaurant do not open until 4 PM daily. Booked double queen with a pool view.

We were there for a 1 night stay for my husband's appointment at MD Anderson. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and everyone who works there is incredibly nice. However, someone broke the bed cover of our truck trying to pry the top off overnight as it was parked in the hotel's private parking garage. I reported it to the front desk and the lady came outside and took pictures of our truck but informed me that they did not have cameras in the garage nor was there security in the garage. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because other reviewers had said it was safe. Unfortunately, we will not stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were great. Breakfast was good. The free laundry for guests is a big plus. Housekeeping changed towels every two days, however they did not close the door when they left. This happened twice. Luckily nothing was taken from our room but twice during our stay when we got to our room the door was not closed, anyone could haved pushed it open.

Our bathroom floor was filthy! Elevators were dirty as well. Clearly they aren’t focused on cleanliness. A truck was also vandalized while parked in their garage. No cameras and no security.

Loved our stay at Hyatt Place. Great breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking, nice-sized room and very comfortable. Only downsides are the frequent ambulance noises due to location, voices carrying from the pool-side area and door “slamming” in the hallway (doors do not have a soft slow automatic closing system, and close loudly). Kept us up due to frequent foot traffic in the hallway around 12:30am before a flight home the next morning. Other than us being overly sensitive for one night of sleep when we knew we had an early flight - we slept great the first two nights. Was also an easy drive to get to MD Anderson Cancer Care Center and only took us 10-15 min to get into Houston’s music district for a night out. Thank you Hyatt Place!

The staff and service was good, as was the on site restaurant. What I am not sure of is why I was assigned an accessible/disabled-access room. The shower was a bit difficult to use and the water spilled out all over the bathroom which made it difficult to walk around.

The pillows were the worst!! Flat old pillows, which were very uncomfortable and painful for my neck! Did not sleep well and would definitely not be coming back for the price that was charged!

I stayed here for 3 nights & NOT once did I receive servicing for my room even after putting in the request. & I had to request wash clothes & towels several times to receive them the day before I had to check out. Never again ! I certainly wouldn’t recommend.

The front desk guy was excellent, very friendly,,,I needed to extend my stay so the next day there was a little girl at the front desk. She was very dismissive and rude, I changed my mind and decided to check out because of her attitude. She is less than average and very arrogant. Will never stay again

Check-in is at 3. By the time that we parked and got into the lobby area, it was about 3:04. There was a line of people waiting to check-in wrapped around the lobby. The lobby and bar areas were full with people waiting. When it was our turn, we were told that no rooms were ready and that we would be texted when the room was available. I asked how long that would be and I was told "we don't know". Okay...will it be a few minutes, an hour, several hours? "We don't know". The place was packed because of a concert that night (which we were attending) and the doors for the concert opened in less than an hour. We had just driven nearly 4 hours and really wanted to shower before leaving. The lady at the desk put us in the waiting list for a room and we went to the bar to sit. About an hour later, I asked my husband to head over to see where we were in line for a room while I watched our bags. Thankfully, he came back with a room key. I understand that it was a busy day, but I think it's crazy that no rooms were available at check in time. They offered champagne as a "sorry", but it should have been a percentage off the room instead (especially for those of us who don't drink). There was chewing gum on the baseboard in the hall leading to our room and the water being flushed from the rooms above us was incredibly loud if you were in the bathroom. Otherwise, the room itself was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. Parking was good.

I requested the room be cleaned daily for three nights daily when I first arrived. When I got back to the room after the first night, the restroom was cleaned an shower cleaned but my bed was not made. I called downstairs to let them know and asked for the manager, Brett. He never called me at all. Also note that I called the desk the same night to be picked up at Memorial TIRR and receptionist did not call the driver. After 30 minutes, I called the mobile and he said he never got the call and apologized.

The experience at Hyatt was great! The distance to MD Anderson was less than 10 minutes, the staff was accommodating at check in and the rooms were extremely spacious. The family loved the amenities and definitely will be coming back. The only small inconvenience was the key cards not functioning properly for the elevators. Overall highly recommend and thank you!

The hotel was very clean. The front desk person when we checked in, Chelsea, was very friendly. The parking garage, rather than an open surface lot, was a plus. Although we didn’t use the shuttle, another guest commented to us on its convenience I would stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Close to train for getting to tourist attractions. We tried to avoid going out at night as area seemed a bit rough based on the local businesses and maintenance of pavements. But hotel had plenty of amenities and was really well set up so it wasn't an issue.

Location was very good for doctor visits at MD Anderson. Breakfast is provided with the room. Dinners in the hotel restaurant are very good. Homeless people do sleep in the door way to Subway restaurant next door.

We loved the hotel. It was a great experience. Hotel staff was very friendly and I have no complaints regarding the hotel itself. It was very clean and I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I will say is that the breakfast wasn't my fave. There wasn't many options. We basically had the same thing every day for all 3 mornings.

The one restaurant is expensive and the food is horrible!!! You read the menu thinking it sounds good but it’s not…..the check out process was pathetic. We were on a business trip and tried using the express checkout feature. The phone system was “full and you could not leave a message” which is how you do the express checkout. The lightning in the rooms is poor. I understand saving electricity or whatever but I also need to be able to see to get dressed. No, I’m not old. Under 50. They were all just barely at a brightness of “dim.” Plus there’s really no place to park other than the garage and they charge you for that.
