At check in, it took at least 20-30 minutes to check in. The employee was new & had to have the owner's wife help in checking in. Their computer kept telling them that the room I reserved was already being used when it was available. In the evening after returning from a concert at the Bluegate Theatre, I tried to log in to the WIFI. It was extremely slow when I tried to use it. At breakfast, the eggs were cold & the sausage patty didn't taste good, so we ended up having a waffle. If the room was not as clean as it was, I would have given it a poor rating.

This was just what we needed for a long road trip. The hotel was conveniently located,clean, great value, and had all the basics that we needed. The staff was very friendly and unhelpful!

Clean but room smelled like stale cigarettes, marijuana scented the hallways and main entrance. Breakfast was alright; there’s a make your own waffle station so that was cool. Beds were comfortable. Shower water is hot. Basic room, good price, no pool so we will be booking elsewhere our next stay due to the kids.

We presented a 20% off coupon at check in that we got from the Visitor's Center in Shipshewana, but the manager refused to honor it. The hotel smelled musty. No elevator. Breakfast was not so good; sausage patties were like soy or something. Eggs oversalted. I wasn't offered the usual water or snack at check in as a Choice Hotel member. Bathroom had a fake eyelash left on counter from previous guest.
