Excellent location with a short walk to the beach and shops. The hotel was fantastic - very pleasantly surprised since it was a package booking so we knew nothing about the hotel. Likes = complimentary water bottles and filling station, complimentary bag for shopping and local shuttles (adorable new VW van they call Scooby), bikes to use, pickleball courts, they handed out mochi ice cream by the pool every day, live music every night by the pool, hospitality suite for late departures was a fantastic feature! The pool area was beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. They handed out really nice lounge chair covers with the towels. Will absolutely stay there again!!

Maui Coast Hotel was an incredible place to spend my last night in Maui! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful beginning with the lobby, the pool area had three pools, a hot tub, and a bar with food. Didn’t get to use the fitness center, chose to walk on the beach instead. This will be my choice of hotels every time!

We stayed in the newly renovated Kai Tower. One of the best hotel experience so far out of the three Hawaiian Islands we visited. Great accommodations with clean modern style rooms, complimentary refillable bpa free aluminum water bottles, complimentary washer and dryer, good water pressure, complimentary shuttle within 3 mile radius of the hotel, complimentary bike rentals, and pickleball paddle are available to check out to play in their pickleball courts. Great location with beach across the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Amazing hotel and staff! Everyone was kind and helpful, and the grounds were nice and well-taken care of. They have a brand new electric shuttle that can take you around locally, picking you up and dropping you off within about 3 miles. They also have complimentary bikes that are in great shape, and you can use for 3 hours at a time. We stayed in their new tower, which was great and had a washer and dryer and detergent for complimentary laundry. The room service left the rooms clean, but not quite immaculate, as we noticed some dirty corners, but that was minor. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice hotel in a central location to many beaches, restaurants, and launching point to other areas of the island. Really loved the nightly music at the pool and the ease of grabbing towels for pool or beach whenever needed. The housekeeping was great and the tiki torches added to the tropical fun. Breakfast is not included but the Kihei Cafe is onsite - pricey (like everything) but convenient. My husband said the gym was amazing - Peloton machines, squat rack, and free weights.

We stayed at a five star hotel on another island and still liked the Maui coast hotel better! Such a convenient location to food, shops, and the beach. The pool area with three hot tubs was excellent for us and we loved that they provided sunscreen. The room itself was very modern and comfortable. Also really appreciated the water bottle refill stations. Nothing could have been improved.

This hotel was by far one of the very best we had stayed in. The staff especially Jamie were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel, the room was large, absolutely spotless and very quiet at night. The laundry room was a bonus as was the location right across from the beach. A free shuttle was brilliant and the Snorkel store just down the road did a great discount for guests or the hotel. Thanks all at the Maui Coast for making our stay so memorable ❤️

We loved our stay at the Maui Coast Hotel! Great pools, beautiful, sandy beach is right across the road, & beach chairs & umbrellas for rent at $5 a piece. Their partnership with Kihei Cafe for meals is amazing! Lots of walkable places to go to, too, plus a free shuttle to take you to & from anywhere within a 3 mile radius! Very clean & modern!

Maui Coast hotel is an outstanding choice for your stay. The location is directly across the street from 1 of 3 adjoining beaches. The facility is beautiful, clean and customer friendly. You are given a wrist band key, a light metal water bottle, a vinyl bag to use during your stay and a water station by the elevator. There are at least 2 pools and 2 hot tubs onsite with a pool-side bar/restaurant. Cruiser bicycles/helmets are available for check out. This hotel has a resort feeling!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Maui Coast Hotel. The staff provided amazing service. The rooms were clean and well kept. The pool / hot tubs were amazing. The on site restaurant had delicious food and great selection. No conplaints - definitely will be coming back again!

I definitely focus on cleanliness as a first priority. This place was extremely clean (we did have a room in the newer tower) and I would stay here again. Very close to food and shopping. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The first room we walked into smelled musty/moldy so they moved us into a second room where we found what looked like mold on the wall behind the couch so was moved to a third room that ended up being ok. The bed was super hard and the rooms could use updating.

The room was spacious, new and overall great. I found out that the pool bar is not part of the restaurant and that caused some issues. Here is a problem we had. There was a very loud band playing for several hours right below our room. This was super disturbing. When I called the front desk, I was told the pool bar is separate from the hotel. When I brought this up again upon checkout, the manager Manny would not take any responsibility at all. He was not even apologetic. Said there is nothing he could do. Eventually, he reduced our $850 bill by one night of parking ($20). I find this absolutely inadequate for someone looking for relaxation at a hotel property. This nuisance severely affected the overall stay for us, having come to the island with a 5 hour time difference and needing some rest. There was no Aloha spirit here at all. I have added two photos showing how close the band was to our room. Also, the pool bar had a 3% up charge for credit card payments and they would not allow a charge to the room unless the amount of the bill exceeds a minimum amount of spend.

Overall a great location. Close enough to beach just not on beach. Pool located in the parking lot but property did a good job of surrounding with trees and great pool bar. Ask for the new building. Rooms in older building are small and very tired.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle is a great feature. Nice little touches like water bottles and filling stations and little ice cream snacks every afternoon at 1:00. Music every night at the pool bar.

The service was terrible. The front desk requires a text message for inquiries, and the wait is nearly 12-24 hours. Upon checking in, I was told by the front desk that housekeeping would deliver two complimentary bottles of water to me. Twenty-four hours later (I checked in at 11 a.m. and received the two bottles of water the next afternoon around 3 p.m.) and two messages later, I finally received the two bottles of complimentary water. Reasonable accommodations and location...terrible service. Unfortunate.

Cheryl at the front desk was exceptional! My partner and I had a very stressful travel day with delays. Upon arrival, Cheryl was so helpful and responsive. We ended up having 2 separate bookings, which she confirmed were linked and did not require us to move rooms. She made our trip vibe turn around!

Stay here when you’re in Maui! The shuttle service was top tier (thank you Joshua!), the rooms were so clean and the property always felt safe and welcoming. The staff handled the evacuation for the tsunami incredibly and efficiently- I felt safe and heard. I’d stay here 100% over

Cheryl at the front desk was really kind and helpful. The staff left a birthday card and little sweet treat in the room since we were celebrating a birthday. The pools and hot tubs are great. The band at the bar (Jimmy and the Twins) at night was fabulous. I also really like the refillable water bottles and water stations.

This hotel has it all, staff was great from the moment we arrived until we left, location is fantastic, in the heart of Kihei, with easy access to shops and restaurants and only a few minutes ride to Wailea or Makena. The pools were the perfect spot to take a break after a week on the beach, and the hotel bikes were a perfect complement to our trip! We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo to the hotel staff!

The pool facilities and poolside bar were excellent.as was the hotel's location directly across from beaches, and easy access to the whole S.E Maui coast . There are lots of dining and shopping options within waking distance, but a car let's you explore the coast. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Try to get at least a partial ocen view.

We enjoyed our week stay in the Kai tower at the Maui Coast hotel. This hotel is affordable and a very clean place to stay. It is in a great location, and we were able to walk to most places. Otherwise, they have a free shuttle that can take you to the Wailea area for dining and shopping. We did have a late night flight, so we were able to use the hospitality suite and hang at the pool all day after checking out. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Maui!

We had an excellent experience at the Maui Coast Hotel for our Anniversary. The rooms are clean, bed extremely comfortable and the property well maintained. The pool area was never crowded - we were able to secure lounge chairs at any time of the day. The beach area is across the street and it was easy to rent beach chairs from the hotel and get beach towels from the pool area to use. There were also a number of dining options nearby including a food truck park that was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Maui!

Hotel staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable but unfortunately, the bar/ restaurant was not as nice. Table service was very poor, menu was very limited and food always served in a cardboard box! Evening ‘entertainment’ was ok at best and sometimes poor. Well done hotel staff but management needs a big overhaul.

Pool area was awesome and perfect for my kiddo. Everything was clean and beautiful. The only thing that fell short was the food and drinks at the pool bar… not good and expensive. It could’ve been because the cafe was renovating? Anyway, so much potential to be a really vibing spot, especially with the great live music every night!

Bed was comfy, beautiful room: spaceous with a big bathroom. 3 different kid of towels at the pool; easy to get and return them. Food options at the hotel so and so. The cafe by the pool was mediocre for the cost. Menu needs some healthy more appealing options. We went out for food.

The property in general was quite nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn’t like was there was no onsite restaurant for dinner or a full regular bar. There is a nice restaurant for breakfast and lunch but only open till 6 (sometimes only till 2). There is a pool bar but what you’d expect for a pool bar, not for a nice dinner and a cocktail. There is a restaurant under construction but sounds like it won’t be ready for a while. It’s about 10-15 minute walk to restaurants in the more central area.
