I rented 3 condos for a group of10. Two were remodeled ours was not but clean looked nice view amazing but dated. One of the condos did not have an elevator. Difficult with luggage and small children. Had a nice clean pool. The grounds were beautiful. Staff was excellent. The location was amazing. 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Many restaurants and shops were very walkable, and I would definitely book these condos next time,

There was no maid service for the entire stay. We asked for additional paper coffee cups and they refused. It was a convenient place to stay but parking was awful and the lack of amenities was disappointing. I would not recommend it for more than a night maybe two.

It was a convenient location, but nothing that really stands out. Parking was always a challenge. There was always parking available on site, but not always near to the building I was staying at. Noisy building, I could hear doors opening & closing several rooms down the hallway.

It's a close walk to the beach, and there are a number of beaches close by. Parking is convenient, though not right next to the unit. Lots of shopping nearby. Good central Kihei location.

We had some problems with the rooms (didn’t get the room we booked), so that made the stay a bit hard. Parking is also hard. Otherwise we had a great time, and enjoyed the facilities. Super friendly staff.

Staff and location were excellent. A great beach was across the street and restaurants/ice cream/bakery/conveniences were all very close by. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, from front desk to grounds workers. Our room was quite dirty on check in, floors probably needed another very good mopping. Our floor was also in desperate need for an upgrade, it was clear that it had had significant water damage in the past and needed replacing as it was lifting. The kitchen supplies also could have used some attention, very limited cutlery or dishware, more appropriate for 2 people (suite was for 4 ppl) and you had to pay for additional dishwashing detergent. The suite could be a good one, but does need upgrades a good cleaning and way more supplies.

Loved the location! property was nice. I had a 1 BR suite. clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. I did not like paying the cleaning fee $230, but having to take my own garbage out, put dishes in dishwasher and start. The fee was steep for not cleaning daily

This place was good, however portions of the room seemed to be outdated and it needed more detail to cleanliness. Overall the stay was good, but could have been excellent, if it wasn’t for the issues previously mentioned.

It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms and the room was big. However when I checked in the sink was filthy and clogged up there was ants everywhere the AC was to weak to cool the unit. Then come to find out we have to take out our own trash which isn’t even told to us it’s a little notice on a small card from housekeeping and housekeeping service is every 7 days here. On the Expedia information it says the front desk is open 24 hours which isn’t true it’s only open from 8am to 10pm.

This property was in a great location and our room was very clean, well decorated and had a nice view of a vacant lot and not other buildings. Location is so ideal walking distance to beaches, grocery store and restaurants. We had a great stay. Downside was the 4 pm check in as if you get to Maui early there is no place to store luggage and we did see broken in cars on our trip and knew this was an issue (not at this site) and did not want to leave our vehicle in our rental car. I did read the warnings about the cleaning fee but it is still shocking to see how many fees they tacked on our bill when they don't even come and clean every day: $200 Housekeeping departure fee with $34.83 tax on that fee, $39.99 Damage Waiver Fee with $6.97 tax on that fee, $29.99 Reservation Fee with $5.22 tax on that fee. The total extra fees were $317 and more than the room charge per night. If there was some guarantee I would have just as nice of a room the next time I would probably return since the location was so great.

Bugs of various types in the kitchen including red roaches. Housekeeping came and sprayed twice. Both times the bugs were still there the next morning The staff at the front desk offered to change our room but at that point we were only going to be there one more night. Probably the bugs were already into our suitcases by then. Ugh! Overpriced and resort fees were high. There was a $150 room cleaning fee and they still want you to run the dishwasher, take out the trash and sweep. Of course there are the bugs too! Location okay.

It was a nice place, the room was clean, the kitchen was complete, we got there after hours and the check in was easy, the only thing is that there is a charge of $317 for housekeeping fees when you get there, so read the whole information on Expedia, I knew already when I booked it. Other than that, I recommend this place.

It was a convenient location, but nothing that really stands out. Parking was always a challenge. There was always parking available on site, but not always near to the building I was staying at. Noisy building, I could hear doors opening & closing several rooms down the hallway.

Had a good time and enjoyed the location but the conjoined hotel style room with zero insulation was bothersome. We could hear everything our neighbor was doing and saying and often found ourselves avoiding being ‘home’ until late evening. Front desk staff was short tempered and unhelpful when it came to luggage transporting to our building.. no mention of bellman carts, just told that we had to haul our stuff from main lobby up to our building.

Stayed at the hotel room portion of this property, not the condo’s that are rented out. It’s a little bit dated in the rooms but honestly it was a really great stay. Everything was clean, staff is super nice and helpful, wifi was fine, (wifi speed was 29mbps)… there was a microwave and mini fridge/freezer in there room and coffee machine with coffee and creamers /sweetness provided. Really conveniently located on the main road between Kihei and Waillea. Lots of great food options nearby and beach across the street.

This location near the beach (about a block away) is ideal, and the condo unit we stayed in was lovely and very comfortable, with a kitchen, sitting area, washer/dryer and lanai. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay!

We really appreciate the deletion of one night’s charge when our Southwest Airlines flight was cancelled. Staff we encountered were friendly and professional. The grounds were landscaped beautifully and well-maintained. We appreciated the free indoor parking and quick access to the beach. The room itself was dated however the bed was comfortable. The heater/AC was noisy, vents blew directly on to one side of the bed. We had to move a bedside table to divert airflow in order to sleep. After a couple of days the scent in the air changed from a disinfectant smell to a wet dog smell every time the blower ran.

Across the street from two gorgeous beaches, one mostly sand, the nearer one with volcanic rocks which yield some fun tide-pools. Very short walk to three strip-malls, full of stores and restaurants: seafood, Mexican, Thai, fine dining, coffee, ice cream, shave ice--it's all an easy walk. Lots of pedestrian crossings over to the beach. We're so glad we didn't spend the extra money to stay on the beach side. Service was good, not exceptional; we had to ask for extra pillows a second time--not a big deal. Now that we know the Kihei area, we would happily stay there again.

We checked in on 6/12 and dropped off our luggage until our room was ready. The girl at the desk was so rude, did not even acknowledge us when we walked in. Acted bothered that we requested an early check-in. Said she would call us when our room was ready but never did. When we finally checked in at the check in time, she was gone and the gentleman that took her place was friendly, which we were thankful for. Too much light coming into the room. We could not sleep at all.

We loved the customer service with Shenelle, she was very professional and helpful. We had an issue with the room they put us in, but we arrived late and settled in for the night, by morning Shenelle had us figured out and in the right accommodations, from that point on it was a wonderful stay. I would recommend calling the hotel directly for the reservation of your room, as we used Expedia and it was very misleading. We also had friends that experience the same thing in the past and thankfully the hotel was accommodating in correcting it immediately.

The location is not bad, but the walls are paper thin. Anytime our neighbors had a conversation I could actively participate in their dialogue. Our neighbors had two small kids, so we tried to be out of the room as much as possible. The AC in our unit was very noisy, I am a heavy sleeper but it kept waking me up through the night. I asked to have our rooms changed twice in the first couple of days, but I was told there was no room available. It was also impossible to reach the housekeeping anytime of the day, anytime I needed something I needed to walk a few minutes to the office.

Our flights always arrive later on when staff has gone home so they have a courtesy phone with lock box and instructions on how to get to your room. In the morning, they would text me and remind me to check in, considerate and recognizing was on holidays and just needed to sleep in on the first day. Very helpful entire staff! Will be booking again with them for a third time!

A very nice stay. Staff was very nice. Get this - it takes 1 min walk to the beach. 1 min! Wow. Owner had chairs and stay was very comfortable. Parking very easy. The Vibe in Kehei is very different than the West side. A very nice spot.

The location was wonderful- so close to the beach and shops and restaurants. The staff were very responsive and helpful. The room was perfect - a kitchen and a washer and dryer. And a patio where we could see the water! It was just perfect. We would stay here again!

We have stayed at Maui Banyan several times we always love the property because it’s close to restaurants and shopping and the beach. I would always choose to stay there when staying in Kihei.
