I have stayed here a few times and it’s a nice art deco hotel close to the beach. The frustrating thing is the pool has been closed for a couple of years now which is a little annoying

It was ok. Their pool is under construction and it’s not very well communicated on Expedia or their website. The pictures of a beautiful pool are still displayed, and it’s listed in amenities. The fitness center is super small with nothing much in it. Outdated hotel. There are better options in Miami beach

The hotel is in a perfect location - close to the convention center, beach and Lincoln mall. The hotel is old but has character. The pool was advertised in the booking but was a hole of rubble and rebar. The bar by the lobby gets a 5 star rating and is top shelf for specialty drinks as well as your favorite with a professional touch.

Although I was informed after making my booking through Expedia that the swimming pool was close for maintenance I had no choice but to keep the book because it was non refundable. This information should be available before paying for the reservation, I would have booked another hotel.

It's not a terrible place to stay, but it's old and has seen better days. I don't mind staying there if I can't stay elsewhere. The POOL is still under construction after 2 years!

Hotel is nice, the main reception area and the bar are great spaces. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean. The hotel is located really well close to the beach and Ocean Drive. Easy to get to from the airport, take the mover to the bus terminal at the airport and then get the 150, it takes you straight there. Only down side was the pool being renovated and seems to be a ways off completion. The hotel did email to confirm this before I arrive but still a shame.

This property is very well maintained. My room was clean and cosy. Great customer service! There was a water issue and I received a call to let me know the times it would be off. By the time I got back to my room it was on. Comfortable and safe walking distance from the convention center and places to eat.

I didn’t stay at the hotel. When I checked in and got the room, I didn’t put my bags down. I checked out immediately bc the room smelled like urine and was not clean. I felt very uncomfortable and not clean. I’m requesting a refund

I stayed one day in a 1 bed bedroom and I loved the clean bathroom. The products were moisturizing for me because of how dry my skin and hair was. The bed was big, wide and clean; Very comfortable. Very good quality room, products and cleanliness! Would go back 100%

I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review but this hotel was not what we expected at all, dingy and dirty, couldn’t wait to leave. The lobby is nice but once you hit the elevators it all goes downhill hill fast. Thank goodness we were only there for 1 night.

The building is older but is undergoing renovation. The room was large and clean the bed comfortable. The location was quiet but in a nice location. Ony complaint was there weren't any drinking cups in the room.

Staff at reception were fantastic and very accommodating. Bathroom door didn’t close properly in our hotel room and toilet was leaking. Bathroom was below average. The rest of the room was spacious and comfortable but the lighting in the room was terrible.

This is a great location for access to South Beach and downtown Miami. Our hotel room was on the penthouse floor and had a great view. The bed was super comfortable. Our only problem was with the air conditioning which could not regulate temperature. It was either on polar vortex or off. The room was so cold. We weren’t sure we’d be able to get warm last night, however, once we turned it off, we were able to fall asleep and be comfortable. The hotel staff are very helpful. Parking in a public parking structure within a short walk cost of $20, which was reasonable.

Like most hotels I have stayed with at South Beach, the lobby is amazing but the rest of the hotel is shaggy. The check-in was perfect but when I got the room there was no remote. During my search in less obvious places I ran across a lot of hairs, dust, random items…it appears the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned very often. The staff quickly brought up a remote. The elevators, hallways and rooms are pretty beaten up. There is very little natural light and almost as little inside light. The room that is most poorly lit was the bathroom. A single recessed light barely illuminated a dingy but spacious area. The toilet had a seat but no lid so it yawned up at you as you brushed teeth. The AC ran continuously and the thermostat did not seem to work. My choices were to turn it off which resulted in feeling smothered or leave it on and freeze. The screen said 75 degrees but I am pretty certain the room state do the low 60s. I like a cooler room but I found myself not wanting to be in there any longer than necessary. There was free coffee which was good and breakfast was available for purchase but I did not dine there. Everyone from the desk to housekeeping to maintenance staff were friendly and helpful. In most places, this would be a terrible review but in Miami, this is average in my experience. The location is good. There are many options there (I have yet to find one that is affordable that i would stay at twice) and I would pass on this one next time.

Great location - close to the beach , shopping, convenience stores and restaurants. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they’re clean. Perfect if you’re looking for a convenient and tidy place to stay.

The building shows its age, but it's still lovely. Staff is helpful and attentive. I picked this hotel instead of staying in the huge fancy host hotel for a conference because I wanted to be able to relax in a quiet place off the main strip and not be kept up all night by partying coworkers. It was perfect. Coming back each night to the Albion was such a welcome escape.

Asked to swap rooms adding a cleaning if possible. there was a newborn in the paper thin wall next to me going nuts. Got denied me said there was ‘extremely limited rooms’. Thats the service you are signing up for here -room 220 shares a dining room with EVERYONE else. noise becomes too much at 7:45am with earplugs -you will be woken by anyone shagging on the same floor sounds like pounding nails with hammer -fantastic location -clean room -ac works

Great location but my room, although clean, was shabby around the edges: carpet was worn- through in spots. Also my room did not contain a drinking glass of any kind. Also no in-room coffee machine. Small details but I expect these things when paying this amount for a room.

Very Nice and Clean Property!! Didn't get to use the new pool but it will be available in July for use. I stayed here for the xbiz event going on near by and it made it convenient for parking and walking. They have a restaurant on the second floor and a gym!! I enjoyed this property very much!!

I was very disappointed with this hotel because I went for business. They advertised a pool and it was under construction. The breakfast menu has items sold out as early as 8AM, The AC unit in room was very noisy. The hotel was noisy trying to do work in the room and getting a good night's sleep. .

Overall the stay was convenient because it was near Lincoln shopping center and delicious restaurants! Also the beach was close enough to walk too, disappointing to have known once I checked in that the pool was being rebuilt and the bar was not open. Was really looking forward to relaxing in the pool and having a drink in hand. Overall had a good experience with the room, the decor was beautiful.

Albion South Beach Hotel was a great choice for us. It was conveniently located to family. The staff were so nice. We really enjoyed the breakfast, portions were very nice.
