The hot tub was out of service for our entire stay. Rooms were dated and had signs of use even the suite we had. Pictures deceiving on the ocean front balcony it was a 3x3 concrete slab hanging out the side of the 7th floor felt uneasy it was so small. The staff was excellent they brought us a bottle of bubbly for our honeymoon and the backyard area staff was awesome as well as the pool staff. Pool closed at 8 most of the week and 10 on weekends with the hotel not really having much to do it would of been nice to have a pool open later. The food during happy hour is amazing even tho not many choices very good. Overall nice stay but would of paid more for more at another hotel. Clean property nice staff.

I love that there is beach access with free use of beach chairs and umbrellas. Free drinks from 5-6 pm and happy hour from 6-8 pm. The pool was great and there's another side where you can take fabulous photos in the water. The staff was friendly and responded quickly when a request was made. There are tons of restaurants, pharmacies and bars within walking distance.

Great. Hidden little hotel. The construction next door was a little challenging. Otherwise great experience. Only limitation is that the pool closes and locks at 8pm. It would be nicer to get to the outside hot tub a little later in the evening.

Do not purchase parking here. I left the property for the day and when I came back, there were no spots left. I went back and forth with the front desk and they said there were spots. I couldn't find any. Horrible way to end an evening on Miami Beach. You would be better to UBER or LYFT if you want to get around this part of Miami. Parking in general is horrendous. Traffic is worse. Overall hotel was ok.

We loved our stay at Marseilles. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was gorgeous, and it was great having direct access to the beach. We ate lunch & breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant & it was delicious. The only negative is all of the construction noise next door to the hotel, but obviously that can’t be controlled.

property is super nice, everyone is very friendly, breakfast at the restaurant and the pool area were awesome. Parking was full by the time we checked in and had to park in parking garage, was not happy about this at first but it really worked out fine, took an uber back and the cost was less than the parking would of been at hotel even with short uber ride to parking garage. We are already planning a return.

The king size room/suite was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The shower was both nice and large. The hotel staff were excellent, friendly, and very service minded. We had zero poor service experiences in our five day stay. We ate and drank at all the restaurants on site, and enjoyed them. They have a cool spot to hang out outside, with some games, and really great beach access also. The hotel is on the smaller side, smaller footprint, less crowds, was perfect for us. The pool was large, 6’9” at deepest. We visited in September, off season.

The property is not bad, but needs some love and care on the inside. The exterior amenities of the hotel are excellent – great pool and outdoor area. The flooring in my room was in dire need of replacement (cracked/broken pieces, spongy in spots, huge gaps). The shower took a full 5 minutes to warm up and there was a consistent flow of bugs coming from the sink and shower drains. Beds left much to be desired. At the price point and with the sheer number of hotels in the area, I don’t think this property is competitive.

Check in was great! The gal at the desk was kind and wonderful. The rooms are awful. Dirty, very thin walls, gross carpet. We ended up leaving the hotel at 6pm and went somewhere else for the night. We rented jet skis through the hotel and we were actually scared for our life. It was a 1 hour rental that lasted 4.5 hours. We had to walk 30 minutes to a store front. Filled out waivers and waited for there “shuttle” for 1 hour. Then took a “shuttle” a van with no windows to the marina for 20 minutes. Then we were dropped off and told to wait for a boat to pick us up. It was a pontoon that was disgusting, the man did not speak english. We were on that for 20 minuets. Then we went to the ocean on a platform with rusted sides, a seams street sign and a old ratted torn tarp on the top. I had to ask for a life jacket for my kid. We rode the jet skis around in a 1.5 mile radios for 45 minutes and that was it. Then we had to do the same journey back. We were completely taken advantage of.

All the staff were very friendly and the outside area (pools, bar, games, beach) were incredible! The biggest flaw for this hotel was the room noise. The walls and sound were THIN you could hear everything in the hallways clearly and their rooms all have a vent on the door which didn’t help. Besides that great location and was near a lot of restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marseille beachfront hotel for the most part however there were some concerns. Our room itself appeared a little outdated and did not have a fridge, however it was clean and we were given fresh towels everyday. The hotel is located on Collins ave which is a very busy street, we heard lots of noise and commotion from motorbikes, the neighboring nightclubs and people in the area that made it difficult to sleep at night. Water was also limited. There was one water jug inside the hotel for all guests that was often empty. And there was one water jug in the pool area, which we were told we cannot fill our water bottles with. Most hotels generally have refillable water stations on every floor so we were taken aback by this, especially considering the Miami heat and need to stay hydrated.The hotel's backyard and private beach access was the highlight of this resort. The pool, jacuzzi, outdoor bar and lounge area felt very luxurious. I would especially like to shoutout one of the outdoor waitstaff, Juan who was very attentive and friendly to me and my friends and made our stay so much more enjoyable. We really enjoyed our time at the beach and outdoor lounge area however I am not sure I would come back.

Staff and service were friendly and overall excellent, from the luggage room personnel to the bartenders. Our room was nicely appointed and housekeeping was daily. I would have given it 5 stars except for the NOISE. We had a city view room directly over Collins Avenue, and it was extremely noisy every night. Music and/or singing from surrounding businesses blared into the early hours of the day. The room lacked any type of sound proofing. Even the continuous sound of the air conditioner running could not drown out the noise.

Hotel is a great location but it was next to a massive construction project that looks to have a few years remaining as it is just in the demo phase. Our room was next to the elevators which are noisy because the building is so old. There are vents on the doors and large gap underneath so you can hear basically everything going on in all rooms. great beach access and pool area.

The property itself was beautiful, right off the beach. Ah-mazing place! Room was perfect EXCEPT for the elevator noise. Do not stay next to them if u dont have to. Annoying as all get out but it was spring break so not much choice for me but seriously bout sent me thru the roof & when i talked to front desk they acted like nobodys ever complained about it. Told em to go spend 10 minutes in the room & they'd know sure they haven't other than that beyond beautiful & happy hour was $1tip free drinks inside & outside bars so back & forth i went beach chair & umbrella also complimentary with stay parking is available but not visible dont know cost since I paid for parking before checking in cuz u cant see a lot or anything kind of ripped on that 1 good stay good price good times

Gutted as I really wanted to be positive about this stay, but the attitude of front desk staff was a disgrace. You pay for location, and we knew that before booking. Beach and pool staff really friendly. If your anywhere near the lift, expect noisy interrupted sleep

Jessica was amazing and knowledgeable however other staffs are not the same. On our first night, there was a group of drunk people who was knocking on our door. It startled us and didn’t make a call as we were scared that we could be heard from outside. We are pretending that nobody is inside the room. The drunk guys stayed in the hallway for a long time so didn’t bother to call. The next morning at 9:00am another knock on our door. This time it was the housekeeping. Told them that we are not checking out and even if we do it’s not 11:00am yet to checkout! Called the frontdesk and they don’t seem to be bothered. Did bring up again when we were in the lobby. Again seems that Frontdesk are not even bothered with the scary night well experienced and the housekeeper bothering us. No point of stressing as they seem to not care. Room is so outdated and the faucet is not even working properly/broken. I don’t bother to report as they only brush off any concerns. Won’t come back in this hotel at all. It was a mistake to stay in this hotel. I should have stayed in South Gates by Hilton instead which I always enjoyed my stay. I chose this for it’s location and pool amenities. Other than that, no special thing. Not worth of money. Stay away!

First day, breakfast was slow on taking the order and delivering it. Next day, room service order of breakfast was zero. Tried to cancel it after an **hour** by email but it bounced back. Unable to reach service they use by phone and the restaurant button on phone didn't work. Had to go downstairs, and was promised that I'd get the refund within 7 days. Should have been instant. Other than that, nice place, but not being able to get room service within a reasonable time is not acceptable.

We had a great stay! The hotel is walking distance from everything and the pool/backyard was very nice. The only thing complaint was the housekeeping. It doesn’t have a schedule so sometimes they would come at 11am and other days at 4pm and sometimes they would forget to leave towels, but we would recommend to others! Beach set up is very close to other hotels as well

Marseilles Beachfront Hotel was an absolute wonderful stay. The pool was so relaxing with great music to listen to and pool side service of food and drink. The poolside bar had excellent fruity, blended drinks! The walk to the beach was just a minute and the hotel also provided drink and food service to the beach. Our stay included a beach umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach each day. The happy hour was very limited in the choices but still a nice touch. The patio restaurant Chloe's was amazing! We would definitely stay again!

Pros: Nice hotel, on the older side but ok. Beautiful backyard and pool area. Nice view and walk to the beach.Most of the staff were nice, not all. Cons: Inconvenient parking, check in person was rude, looking out towards the beach, construction next door, very limited menu, very high price alcoholic beverages. The taxi service used by the hotel price gouged us., Going one way $75, coming back, same distance, different taxi service $35. Last morning we there,wanted to eat breakfast outside, sat down and the server didn’t like where we sat, asked us to move to different table. So, we chose to, walk down the street to another restaurant for breakfast. Parking issue, upon checking was told parking $30 a day, oh by the way parking lot 2 blocks away. The lot is at another hotel affiliated with this one. They only charge $10

The shared facilities are great, especially the "Backyard." Food was excellent and staff was mostly helpful. Our room was very small and the shower was very difficult to get warm, would take 15 minutes and then you had to mess with it.
