Location is the greatest feature of the Hotel. Génesis at the front desk was amazing, she made us feel at home. There is no elevator, had to carry 5 bags up the stairs. We did not have a closet in our room.

The front door was locked and my car key didn't work and the solution that was offered when i told them was that they would have to buzz me in from the front desk apparently when they're not checking other people in or busy. There were no cups in the room, the TV didn't work (I brought the remote to the front desk and the front desk man said he would come look at it and never did). The Wi-Fi didn't work. The two old lamps that were in disrepair in the room did not have a lot enough light for me to read in my bed. I went to the wrong offsite parking garage, because the directions were not clear (might have been clearer if I spoke Spanish)....I paid for two nights but only stayed one

Extremely outdated, dirty, no parking, no shuttle, old appliances, beds are very low to the floor and not comfortable. No pool or lounge chairs, no elevator only stairs, no coffee or snacks in the morning. If you want cheap no frills for a few hours sleep you might like it. We did not and will not return.

This property benefits from great location but apart from that there is no other service. No complimentary drinks or umbrellas. Especially when it’s raining, the property can be quite wet outside the room. Our airconditioning didn’t have a remote so was turned on the whole night. And using the phone was not working.

The room was ok but, the shower handle was missing. We told them but they didnt fix it. The air/ heat is controlled at the front desk. No free parking & valet is $46 a day! Wouldn't recommend.

We had a great stay! Beds were comfortable, staff was great and it was close to the beach. The beach chairs were easy to find and beach towels were provided. The only thing that was missing was a pool. Overall, recommend this property for staying on South Beach.

Very simple room ,outdated but very clean. Comfortable beds. Very close to beach and Ocean Drive . NO microwave and No refrigerator and No cattle or coffee maker in the room . Parking is very close, just around the corner. I would recommend to stay there if you would like to have very short walk to the beach. I would stay again.

Unfortunately, we feel like we were mislead…the lobby was the nicest area there. Once you got past that…not so much else nice. They did have a courtyard that could have been cleaned up a bit, our room was so drab and uncomfortable that we found ourselves sitting out there most of the time. Coffee service was only there one of the mornings, but not the next..that was a bummer. The staff that was on when we first arrived, a young gentleman, on a Saturday morning was super nice and accommodating…the rest just said hi as we came and went. And there were a lot of cleaning staff yet it was not very clean any place other than the lobby..The floor of our room was definitely never swept, we had to keep washing our feet before sitting on the bed because it was that bad!! Just wish it was cleaner and more orderly all around…. The hotels right across the street are beautiful, and Aqua was kinda ghetto. Such a shame.

Our room was in terrible condition. Holes and stains on the walls and bath. Floors very dirty with long hair all over the floor. Walls so thin you can hear everything next door and outside your room. The sink was clogged and completely filled with water just brushing your teeth. We were woken up several times though out the 2 nights spent here. If I hadn’t been so sick from a cruise I had just returned from I would have definitely went elsewhere to stay. There was no refrigerator or microwave and the beach is blocks away.

Although the staff was friendly, the property itself was in need of significant repairs, updates, and a thorough deep cleaning. The room floor was dirty, the curtains were torn and did not fit properly, and the bathroom flooring was uneven and poorly installed. The toilet was old and stained, and the bathtub required refinishing. Additionally, there was no nozzle to fill the bathtub with water. The paint was chipped, and the furniture was warped and worn.

This is the filthiest hotel I have ever tried to stay in. The bathtub was disgusting in the first unit they had us in. There was mold on the air vent above the bed in the second unit.

This hotel is very convenient. The main strip with all the restaurants and beach is in a walkable distance. I cannot remember the front desk guy name who checked me in but he was amazing. He was super welcoming and helpful my whole stay. The only negative thing is I feel like the pictures I seen when booking my stay made the hotel room look a bit more spacious and up to date. But in person it’s just regular . But if you don’t plan on being in the hotel often while on your trip I would say this could be a go to something decent enough to lay your head and shower. But if you plan on being in your room more than being out maybe choose a different option. Over all it was a decent stay.

Great location. Room was a bit dark & a very strange layout. I’m not sure if it’s because we were in a handicap accessible room or if they are all that way. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Some of the wall plugs didn’t work.

1. The shower head was not working well at all 2. The walls are so thin I could literally hear my neighbors words clearly when they were having a conversation and I definitely heard them when they were being very loud. 3. I wasn’t able to change the thermostat. 4. Parking ended up costing $360 for 2 nights. 5. There was a window in the little kitchen area that had no curtain and lights outside the window so the room didn’t even get dark when I went to sleep.

The hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance from all tourist attractions in south beach. The rooms are large and pretty basic and could do with a refurbishment but they're perfectly acceptable for the price. Staff were friendly. The air conditioning is centrally controlled at reception so we had to ask to turn it down and couldn't control it overnight.

Biggest plus for this hotel is the location. The interior is old but surprisingly spacious and the price was reasonable relative to the rest of the hotels in the area. My biggest complaint (which made my stay rather unpleasant) was the complete lack of noise insulation from the surrounding rooms. I could hear everything my neighbors were saying/doing and I woke up in a panic my first morning because it was so loud it actually sounded like someone was IN my room. Would rather pay a little extra for a more pleasant stay.

We booked this property based on location and its 8.2/10 rating. The property is very outdated. The windows all have screws in them to prevent opening, and the room temperature is only controlled by the front desk. Very noise, my bedroom neighbor were screaming and laughing very loudly until 2-3 am. My cousin was in another room and someone opened their luggage’s and went through their belongings. No action taken by management.

Front desk was friendly and helpful at check in but other hotel employees were not kind or helpful. I paid $46 for valet parking only to not be able to use my car the rest of the stay. “Valet” at this establishment means that they take it to a parking garage and you have to pay $46 more dollars any time you try to use the car. SCAM. Rooms are nothing great, minimal at best. Walls are PAPER THIN and we had neighbors up till 2-3AM and could hear them crystal clear. Basically we got no sleep. A different review said they had bedbugs. We woke up with a few red bites on our feet/ankles but didn’t see the bugs so can’t actually confirm. Read all the reviews on multiple websites. You can probably find somewhere better in the area. Would not recommend this place even if you are looking for something more affordable. Spend the money to stay somewhere better.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided during my recent stay. The convenience and efficiency of our stay were impressive. Malik, the Night Shift employee, demonstrated outstanding hospitality, ensuring our comfort and safety throughout. I was worried to stay due to the other reviews but honestly, I could tell from my personal stay that everyone who opinion needed something bad was extremely picky I had a great room ! No complaints I’m glad I stayed at this location. Price was worth it. Please acknowledge Malik's hard work with praise and consideration for a raise I’ll see you guys soon 🤗🤗 definitely staying again !!

Although my first impression was not so good due to a long line to check and only one employee for almost 15 people the gentleman I believe his name was Emmanuelle was very kind and talkative so he was able to change the mood—small but convenient hotel in the middle of everything. The room was very large although it was very simple and the bathroom need a makeover asap, its stuck in the 70s but for the rest great time on this property.

The hotel was a little bit of a dump. Many maintenance issues really crept up. The hotel check-in process was very slow and inefficient. Many times during and before the stay, they would try to upsell transfer from the airport. Examples of where maintenance was needed were: the shower knob was not functional, the sink was falling off the wall, the tiles were coming off in the shower, the key card didn’t work initially, etc. Definitely would recommend avoiding in the future. Not worth the price, especially given how much you pay despite the location.

Our room had a thin door to the adjoining room and we could see light coming through. We felt like we had no privacy, but it was late so went to bed. At 2:30 a.m. the other guests came back and started making a lot of noise with a lot of yelling and laughing. It felt like we were in the same room as then, we could understand everything they were saying. We tried knocking and asking them to be quiet, but they told us to pound sand and got louder. We then tried calling the front desk with no answer. Finally, I went down to the front desk to complain and there was no one there. The other guests didn’t settle down until 4 a.m. and we were left high and dry unable to fall back asleep. The hotel staff should have been available to enforce quiet time and/or move us to a different room. The hotel should also replace the door with something much thicker or a wall. Instead, we had the worst night ever staying at a hotel. Very disappointing.

Great location, very walkable to lots of great restaurants and the beach. You can walk to a great sandwich shop with $10 sandwiches to $30 dinners to $100 luxe dinners. Property immaculately clean, front desk lady very very nice. Beach chairs and towels are a great amenity. Room was clean but very sparsely and unattractively furnished; they could do a LOT with this place with a little nicer furnishings. Would stay here again.

The hotel covered all the basics, the beds were really comfortable providing a good night's sleep. The best aspect was how close it was to Ocean Drive where I really wanted to be to see the art deco architecture and the vibe in general, but just outside the main strip so we weren't subject to all the noise and goings on!

Well, though the staff was polite and friendly, the room was sparse, kind of bullet proof for party types i guess...you had to go to the front desk to change the temperature in your room, there was not even a cup in the room for water, the toilet was so low to the ground you had to kneel to use it. To top it all off, they said they served coffee in the lobby in the morning but apparently the coffee machine was broken for at least 2 days, not even a coffee voucher to appease the customer, they seem cheap.

The pictures on the website do not reflect the property. The sundeck lounge chairs did not exist. There are also pictures of what appears to be a continental breakfast. There was no breakfast - not even coffee. No coffee, cups, flatware in the rooms, even though there was a microwave and refrigerator. With just a few amenities, this could be a much better hotel. Close to the beach is the only real advantage to staying here.
